This property is so great if you have children. There are games to play everywhere. It is family friendly with friendly staff. There was constant confusion about what time the pool was opened and closed, which was upsetting for our kids who couldn’t swim.

Hôtel très beau et décoré avec goût . Grand Baby foot, jeux pour enfants. La chambre etait très propre. Beaucoup de choses mis a notre disposition dans la chambre ( mini bar a disposition avec boissons offerte ) , savon gel douche après shampooing de la marque Ritual . Peignoir, chaussons ... Le restaurant est très bon et les prix sont corrects. Petit dej très bon également.parking très pratique mais payant.

Conveniently close to airport, and usual Novotel rooms and service. Sofa-bed in room was uncomfortable but manageable for one night. Good breakfast though. Parking was available for extra cost and fairly easy into the underground carpark. Would use again for a single night.

Stayed for a few days break with my grandson and wife and was perfect for a city break hotel was a bit further out than we thought but taxis right outside and metro just 10 minute walk. Hotel is spotless ,staff very helpful and pool area is is very clean and lovely to sit round at the end of the day,

This is a fun hotel. The longest fusball table I have ever seen in their lobby. Room was modern and clean. Breakfast buffet had great selection. Bar in lobby and outdoor pool. Not a lot of things to do outside of hotel but taxis right outside entrance took us into the city and to the airport. Would stay here again.

Malgré un petit dejeuner convenable et une localisation plutôt intéressante. La propreté de la chambre n'est clairement pas au rendez vous. De la moisissure sous les fenêtres et dans la douche ne nous ont pas permis d'apprécier cet hébergement. Également leur prestataire espace vert qui a commencé son travail à 9h pendant notre petit dejeuner en terrasse avec des machines très bruyantes et leur odeur d'essence.

I have to say we were disappointed. At first we were impressed with the lobby & reception area which looked modern, clean & a friendly welcome. But then it started to go downhill. Firstly we got bitten loads by some insect as soon as we entered the pool area. Then we had lunch at the restaurant where the lady serving us was coughing constantly while serving our food and drink. Although she was wearing a mask, personally we felt that if you're serving food and have a cough that bad, perhaps you shouldn't be working until you feel better. We then went to our room. Looked clean and pleasant enough at first sight but then after trying to sleep in there we discovered the air conditioning wasn't strong enough to cool the room down to a comfortable level. Then an awful smell started to come from the bathroom (it wasn't us) and finally we woke up with more insect bites. I complained to the reception staff who were very apologetic and put us in another room and gave us 4 free drinks to apologise for the inconvenience. The new room didn't smell & the air conditioning was stronger but we still were bitten again by something. Therefore overall not a great stay at all and left disappointed for a stay at a Novotel hotel.

Stayed here for the weekend on first impressions i really liked the retro vibe they had going the room appeared to be clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The area is quiet and there isn't much to do around the hotel and you have to travel a bit to get to any attractions but there was a bus stop right outside though we didnt get a chance to use it. We had breakfast included in our stay. They had a variety of dishes to choose from and the food tasted good. The one complaint i have is it seems they have bed bugs by the end of our stay we had multiple bites we thought it might have been mosquito bites which is why we didnt complain but on reflextion and a quick google search the bites resemble those of bed bugs than mosquito bites. Overall the stay was great but due to the bed bugs issue we will not be staying here again.

I was very disappointed with my stay and feel that this hotel does not live up to its advertised 4-star rating. By American standards, it feels more like a basic motel. The room we stayed in was quite small and had a persistent musty smell. There were signs of black mold around the window frames, and the air conditioning system was outdated and ineffective in regulating temperature. I’ve stayed in 3-star hotels in Barcelona that were much cleaner and more comfortable. I also noticed trash left in the hallways, which gave a poor impression of the overall maintenance. If you’re traveling with family, I would recommend looking elsewhere, as this experience unfortunately took away from the charm that Barcelona otherwise has to offer.

Arrived wondering where reception was as no clear desk just people hovering with a laptop, thought we were in wrong place as no Novotel signs inside just restaurant name. Got there at 3.15pm even though Expedia advised could check in from 2pm only to be rudely told NO check in from 4pm and ordered us to sit down. Another staff came over 10 mins later however and checked us in no problems. Room was ok but sofa bed was too small for 2 and would suggest only accommodate small children, it was also old and lumpy. No spare pillows were provided and the ones we had were very flat. Air con was just about sufficient during the afternoon but when we went to bed seemed to stop. Was on full all night but it didn’t produce any cold air at all and we were hot and room stuffy so very little sleep was had by all, not what you need before an early flight and all day travelling. Room was clean and bathroom modern, however translucent door that doesn’t shut properly not ideal. The restaurant is very limited to speciality food and you can’t get anything ‘normal’ or simple. Location convenient for airport and pool a bonus but not enough reason to stay here again.

This place was really close to the airport, clean & they even let us check in really early / like 10am early when the actual check in was in the afternoon. Beds were comfortable & amenities were modern. They even stored our luggage for free when we went to Ibiza for the weekend.

We stayed at the Novotel Barcelona Cornella for two nights. The moment you set foot in the hotel, you feel a very unique, lively, ambience throughout the nicely decorated common areas. Staff is welcoming, polite and efficient. The hotel is not new, but it is well maintained. Breakfast was excellent, good choice and good quality. The swimming pool can get busy, but it is a good bonus, if you want to avoid spending some of the heat hours in Barcelona and keep the kids busy. The hotel is far from the centre, but it is set in a quiet neighbourhood that feels safe even late at night. There are quite a few small restaurants and bars in the area that seem popular with the locals, and a few mini markets for the essentials. It is a 6-7 minute walk to Almeda station, so it takes roughly 30 minutes to get to the centre. If you don't mind commuting, considering the price and the package you get, the hotel is a very good option.

Staff were quite abrupt at time and on a few occasions openly rude (eye rolls and a lack of motivation to help out) Didn’t seem to want to chat with us as we don’t speak Spanish. It felt like we were less welcome than the Spanish guests actually. Staff were unable to organise a taxi for us to the airport. The pizza obviously came from a shop bought freezer pack - awful. The French fries were really good. Although clearly aimed at families with children, the restaurant inexplicably doesn’t open until 7:30pm! We had to go out to eat after a long day of travelling.

Abbiamo soggiornato per tre giorni e due notti io e il mio compagno, l’hotel all’apparenza molto bello. Il problema è l’organizzazione e il personale, dovevamo fare il check-out, e per non sbagliare volevamo chiedere alla ragazza che in teoria è nel reseption, ci ha risposto in modo sgarbato e svogliato, dicendoci aspettate non vedete che sto finendo la signora. Dopo qualche minuto arriva una ragazza robusta con la carnagione scura, informandoci della tassa di soggiorno da pagare di 5,84€, consegnando a quest’ultima 10€, con voce stressato ci dice andate a cambiare questi soldi che non ho il resto altrimenti me lo prendo come mancia. Noi giustamente la mancia non cr la sentivamo di darglielo a questo punto perché non abbiamo usufruito di nessun servizio. Rifiuto quindi la sua richiesta e mi dice valli a cambiare da qualche parte io non so come aiutarti, in quel momento lei si rifiuta di farci pagare la tassa, quando poteva tranquillamente avere il resto ‘l’hotel visto il flusso che c’era all’interno di esso

Great location very close to Almeda station which has great transportation links. Was advised to get the ten ticket deal which worked out well. Excellent staff at reception housekeeping and restaurant.Have already recommended as good base and has good local restaurants and shops.

We would have given a 5 for the service as everyone except one member of staff were consistently exceptional. Someone even placed balloons and little gifts for our daughters whose birthday surprise this holiday was for! However, we had several encounters with one lady who was behind the bar serving in the evening on Friday 1st, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd. She was consistently rude and dismissive to everyone in our party. We couldn’t put our finger on what it was about us that bothered her so much as we were always polite in our interactions with her but she was quite unpleasant on each and every occasion we had to communicate with her. Other than that one particular young woman though, every other staff member went above and beyond with their service and attitude. It’s such a shame that we came into contact with her as otherwise, our stay would have been perfect. I’m sorry we didn’t catch her name in order for you to properly address this.

Gute Unterkunft, wenn man einen guten Preis bekommt. Zimmer sind in Ordnung, einige Dinge würden verbessert gehören (schimmlige und beschädigte Dichtung in der Dusche, kein Glas im Badezimmer, Klimaanlage war sehr kalt, trotz Einstellung usw.) Frühstück war gut, gute Auswahl, frisch gepresste Säfte waren genial, negativ waren die Eier. Der Empfang ist lediglich ein Tisch mitten im Hotel, die meisten laufen vorbei da es nicht angeschrieben ist und auch nicht ersichtlich. (ev. ein Schild montieren) Das Hotel ist ca. 30-55min mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel von den Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt. Ein Bus hält ca. 5min vom Hotel bei einer Mall (El Corte Ingles Cornella), die nächste Metro ist max. 10 min zu Fuß entfernt. Generell wenn man den ganzen Tag in der Stadt verbringt und nur eine günstigere Unterkunft zum Übernachten sucht, können wir das Hotel empfehlen!

L’hôtel est bien, propre. Tranquile et loin de la ville. Le personnel est serviable, mais ne parle pas français. Juste anglais et espagnol. Pour les déplacements y’a une station de train à 8 min de marche qui va au centre ville . Elle est à côté d’un centre commercial. Des petits restaurants dans le coin. Plusieurs bus passent à côté. Exemple pour aller au cap Nou, on a pris le bus qui nous a déposé juste à côté.

Great hotel and the rooms are clean. The location is very remote from almost everything to do but there are plenty of public transportation. To get to most things by public transportation is 40-55 minutes so if you want to be off the beaten path; this is your location.

The hotel was nice overall. Not a lot to do around the hotel, also the waitress in the restaurant are rude and not very helpful. Would not recommend the restaurant at all. Otherwise fine for a short stay before you leave to the airport.
