Hotel Esplugues

While the hotel had some acceptable features, my overall experience was negatively impacted by several inconveniences. Every time I needed to leave the hotel, I was required to hand over the room key, which I found unnecessary and inconvenient. Parking was another issue—I had to park on the street and then walk to the hotel just to ask staff to open the parking gate. Additionally, during a power blackout, no backup measures were offered. Not even a simple candle was provided, leaving guests in complete darkness. A bit more preparedness and flexibility from the staff would go a long way in improving the guest experience.

Quite alright, for the price, clean room and comfortable bed was what I was looking for. Service was very friendly. Building is not too well noise insulated, but at a quiet street. About 30-40 minutes with tram+metro to City center. Cafe in the ground floor that serves light breakfast priced as it should be.

Il est important de noter que pour ma part j’ai voyagé seul en Juillet 2024. À cette date, les photos de la chambre que j’ai pu observer lors de ma réservation n’étaient pas à jour. J’ai été agréablement surpris de voir que la décoration avait été refaite, dans des tons beaucoup plus moderne. Mention spéciale pour la douche à l’italienne très spacieuse et agréable. La salle de bain était très propre et moderne. La chambre extrêmement spacieuse, le lit une personne paraissait presque ridicule au vue de la dimension de la pièce. La climatisation est très efficace et refroidi la chambre très rapidement, cependant l’isolation thermique ne semble pas être la meilleure puisque très rapidement la température avait tendance à remonter après extinction de la clim. Le personnel est très agréable, présent 24h/24. Le service de chambre est arrangeant et fait des efforts écologiques comme celui de laisser le choix au client s’il souhaite changer les serviettes de bain ou non. Le wifi est gratuit et fonctionne très bien. Attention à l’emplacement de l’hôtel qui est situé dans un quartier plutôt agréable et en sécurité mais qui nécessite de prendre au moins 2 voir 3 transports en commun pour rejoindre le centre ville de Barcelone. Sinon pour rejoindre les centres commerciaux voisins ça reste très facile. Seul petit point négatif : l’ascenseur ne monte pas jusqu’au quatrième étage, il faut l’utiliser jusqu’au troisième puis finir l’étage suivant par les escaliers.

Good value for the money. Excellent personnel. 10-15 minute walk to Tram stop for commute into Barcelona. Convenient grocery nearby. Good facilities. Good access and cable TV, but no English-language channels (Catalan, Spanish, and French only). Many small restaurants nearby.

Needed an affordable place to stay, close-ish to the airport. Room are small, but a sufficient closet for 1 person. They do have a small dining area. Breakfast is great, and it’s open til about 11pm which is nice for late flights in to be able to get food. The staff here was so kind and let me keep my luggage here while I walked around for a bit. It is not in city center so be prepared to take a cab / public transportation. I walked around one day while waiting to be able to check in to my next hotel, there wasn’t too much around. And when needed help getting a taxi to my next hotel and the front desk called right away! Would recommend for an affordable place to stay for a night or two.

On my last day l found a mice running out from my room. When l spoke to the manager l was told to forget it.

No recomiendo este hotel, no esta limpio (la almohada tenía cabellos, había mucho polvo debajo de la cama cuando recogí mis zapatos), no tienen siquiera plancha para la ropa, la gente en recepción parece amable pero no tiene interés en ayudarte, no te dan ni una botella de agua y su máquina de vending no funciona, la cama era incomoda y con cada movimiento sonaba. El hotel tiene pésima relación de precio y calidad, no volveré. No entiendo cómo tienen esa calificación de 8.6, es un hotel malo.

The room was too small and the bedding very old. The room didn’t seem clean but the bathroom was ok.

Recommended, quiet neighbourhood. Friendly staff, small but clean room. Never tried public transport, but it was good I was told. Taxi to Barcelona centre, Sagrada Familia, was about 22 euros.

The staffs were super, super friendly.

Employees are extremely unprofessional and they cross the respect lines.

Mein English war nicht so gut.. und hab gefragt ob sie es mit anderen wörtern beschreiben kann die Frau an der Reteption. Schwarze lockige haare weis den namen nicht mehr. Nach längerem hin und her hat sie es dann äntlich geschaft es anders zu formulieren das es dan äntlich verständlich war. Mann kann alles wen man will….. wen man sich aber so verhalten muss und noch dumme kommtare rauslässt ist es zum kotzen. Was lerne ich daraus besser english zu lernen und sie wie man auf die gäste eingeht fräundlicher auf jeden fall !

Excelente hotel, quarto bem aconchegante, hotel limpo, recepção muito agradável, bom custo benefício!! Para quem gosta de facilidade e acesso às regiões mais centrais esse não é a melhor opção, tem-se a necessidade de utilizar muito transporte público para chegar nos principais pontos turísticos como Las Ramblas, Bairro Gótico, Sagrada Família, etc.

O hotel é ótimo. Só fica afastado do centro, mas fácil de pegar transporte público.

Etwas außerhalb von Barcelona gelegen, aber gut mit der Tram zu erreichen die Metro ist ca. 20 min entfernt. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer das für diesen Preis unschlagbar ist. Insgesamt habe ich nichts zu beanstanden. Perfekter Aufenthalt.

Hotel was betaalbaar t.o.v. hotels in de stad van Barcelona. De tram ligt op loop afstand en je bent binnen 20 minuten in de stad. Rustige omgeving en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Aanrader.

The hotel was affordable and had a decent quality to it. Only downside would be the location, but if you’re willing to travel far to the city (by the 67 bus) then it would take around 45 minutes and only costs about 2.55 Euro for a single ticket. Overall decent experience, would recommend.

I had a great stay at Hotel Esplugues. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Additionally, the hotel is located near excellent transport options, making it easy to get around the city.

Struttura recentemente ristrutturato, moderna persona attento al cliente disponibili, buon servizio di pulizia giornaliero delle camera, anche nelle aree comuni sempre tenuto pulito. Buono il servizio di ristorazione che offrono con porzioni abbondanti veloci nel servizio ed i piatti anche buoni, ottimi i prezzi del ristorante con davvero pochi soldi si mangia bene.

As our first time in Barcelona for the ISE the Hotel was a bit far from the show but we did find an excellent Restaurant just 50 Metres away

Very friendly multi lingual staff. Good cafe near the entrance. Basic small room would be challenging for a large or less able person. Supermarkets and eateries available within a kilometre. Safe suburban area.

I liked the staff and the conditions, the place was clean and everyone was very friendly and spoke English really well. The rooms are spacious, but a bit dark and the view is just the building in front of the hotel, but it’s a great option either way if the majority of the time will be spent visiting the city! There are affordable restaurants around, including the hotel’s. It’s 10 minutes away from a lidl and most modes of transportation leading to the city center (trams and busses). Highly recommend!

La atención del personal estupendo, hwñechamos de menos tener el restaurante abierto el fin de semana, las cortinas si hay que decir qu3 tenían bastante polvo al igual que las mantas, ya que somos alergicos y eso si es algo ennlo que nos perjudico un poco la estancia, de resto suoer bien
