Totalt et fint og rent rom. Spa var helt greit, var en del av knappene som ikke virket inne i salt vannbassenget. Treningsrommet var stengt, under renovering. Frokosten var god. Hadde middag, den var helt ok. Kjøkkenet stengt fra 15.30 - 19.00. Vi kom fra spa og massasje kl. 15.30 skulle ha noe lite å bite i. Alt stengt, det var veldig dårlig opplyst om. Var en veldig rolig og stille plass / beliggenhet. Hadde fått opplyst på forhånd at der var renovering/ oppussing på hotellet. Vennlig hilsen Vibeke

Prima hotel. Voor Nederlandse begrippen geen 4-sterren. De kamer is wat gedateerd, maar wel schoon en netjes. Bedden liggen goed, relatief zacht. Ontbijt is simpel maar oké. Bij het zwembad zijn voldoende bedden. Ook als je later op de dag daar kwam, kon je altijd nog met gemak bedjes vinden. Het schoonmaken van het zwembad verdient wel meer aandacht, de randen bij het zwembad ter hoogte van de waterlijn zijn vet van de zonnebrand. Ook veel alg aanslag op de tegels in het zwembad. Hier moeten ze echt meer aan gaan doen. In het zwembad staat een ronde bol, die is aan de onderkant helemaal glibberig. ‘s Middags kan je in de cafetaria goed eten, je krijgt veel voor je geld.

Hotel a diez minutos de la playa de Guardamar en coche con unas instalaciones en general muy buenas de un hotel de cuatro estrellas. Tiene parking privado incluido en el precio en la puerta del hotel vigilado por las noches y sobre todo con cargadores eléctricos que es una gozada si llevas un coche eléctrico híbrido. Las habitaciones son cómodas y amplias pero los colchones demasiado blandos. El aire acondicionado es un poco vintage así que para regularlo correctamente por la noche pasas un poco de calor. El desayuno es muy bueno y completo y hasta las 11 de la mañana. No probé ni el spa ni la piscina pero tiene muy buena pinta. En fin repetiré si vuelvo por Guardamar porque merece la pena.

Bott här många gånger de senaste 10 åren och kommer gärna åter emellanåt. Trevlig personal, skön säng, god frukost, rent och mycket välskött i hela hotellanläggningen och utomhusytor med vacker trädgård och pool, vilken dock är stängd vinterhalvåret. Stor gratis parkering också ett stort plus.

There is no way I would call this a four star hotel on arrival. Check-in was okay just a pity the staff didn’t smile. We were told where our room was on the first floor. We did find this easy on the way there. We noticed that the carpets in the hallways Was deteriorating faded and thread bear in some places once opening our bedroom door we noticed the room was very old very dated old rickety wooden furniture marks and stains up. The wall. Bathroom was clean and tidy but again very dated. Rooms must be at least 20 years old. Being June when we stayed weather was very hot and wanting to get up for a nice early morning swim but was that informed even though it was 30° the pool was shut and would not be open until 11 o’clock once I return to my room, I then realised That they had left some coffee and tea but no sachets of milk in the room we decided we wanted to book some massages but we told there was no availability or staff for the next four days. We only went for three nights when we did manage to get round by the pool we asked for towels we had to pay €10 per towel not a problem but at the end of the day we wanted to get clean towels we were told no we had to wait till the next day very strange when walking around the hotel the whole place is very old and needs updating even though we were told the Pool had just been referred. It is nowhere near as nice as the pictures that they show on the Internet obviously the photographer did a very good job! Staff don’t smile either !

Apart from the towel lady around the pool who charges you a deposit to rent the towels out, and if you don't gets really mad at you for bringing down the hotel ones the stay was very pleasant.

Easy check in, newly refurbished room with private terrace, excellent quality evening meal & breakfast in very pleasant restaurant. Nice coffee & bar area to sit in too. We were not disturbed by the refurbishment taking place at the hotel. Quiet area with free hotel parking. We did not use the extensive spa facilities which would have cost €22.50 per person for 90 minutes. Would recommend staying here.

Gedateerd hotel. Premium kamer ook gedateerd en kleine beschadiging hier en daar. Spiegel in badkamer was niet schoon. Gat in de wand onder buro. Eten in lobby bar slecht. Kippenpootjes waren nog rauw. Patat ook.

We had a nice stay at the property. We enjoyed the bar and we had an amazing dinner in the restaurant. The roomsxare a bit dated but were comfortable and clean. The pool looked great but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use it.

As we arrived there was not hot water for a shower. The next morning before an important meeting, still no hot water. The AC worked poorly, the beds slid appart and the pillows were old, worn, clumpy and uncomfortable. The breakfast was also very disappointing and the bar were missing key ingredients to make drinks. The pool was cold, non heated and it was full of leaves and contamination.

Fik et værelse hvor køleskab og aircon/varme ikke virkede. Kunne ikke få et andet tilsvarende værelse, da de renoverede og var booket. Døjer med migræner, så begge dele er et must for mig. Stod også i receptionen med migræne. Vi fik tilbudt et dyrere værelse, mod vi betalte den fulde difference. Hvilket vi følte os tvunget til, så endte med at betale 650euro ekstra. Det værelse måtte vi også dagen efter skifte, da aircon/varmen også gik i stykker der. Tredje værelse virkede alt så på, næsten, spa badet havde ingen bundprop, så man kunne bruge det, og termostaten til vandet virkede heller ikke, så kunne kun få skold varmt vand. Værelserne var UTROLIG lydt. Man kunne høre, når nabo rummet åbnede gardiner og deres glidene skabsdøre. Vi havde en connection dør til ene nabo værelse, hvor vi måtte ligge pider op ad, for at lydisolere en smule. Så abslut ingen ro, med naboer og renovering. Efter booking fik man oplyst om renoveringen, men at alle service, her i bland også motionscentret, at de var åben. Men ved ankomst, får vi oplyst at motionscentret er lukket, for de har taget det med i renoveringen nu.Så det kan vi heller ikke bruge. Morgenmaden er de samme 10 ting hver morgen uden nogen variation. Føler absolut ikke det var pengene værd. Og er pænt træt af, at føle vi var tvunget ud i at bruge så mange ekstra penge på et værelse, på et hotel, hvor de ikke kunne levere hvad der var bestilt.

Nice hotel with helpful staff. Only negative was room was dated and could do with being modernised and also bigger balcony needed so can sit outside.

There is no way I would call this a four star hotel on arrival. Check-in was okay just a pity the staff didn’t smile. We were told where our room was on the first floor. We did find this easy on the way there. We noticed that the carpets in the hallways Was deteriorating faded and thread bear in some places once opening our bedroom door we noticed the room was very old very dated old rickety wooden furniture marks and stains up. The wall. Bathroom was clean and tidy but again very dated. Rooms must be at least 20 years old. Being June when we stayed weather was very hot and wanting to get up for a nice early morning swim but was that informed even though it was 30° the pool was shut and would not be open until 11 o’clock once I return to my room, I then realised That they had left some coffee and tea but no sachets of milk in the room we decided we wanted to book some massages but we told there was no availability or staff for the next four days. We only went for three nights when we did manage to get round by the pool we asked for towels we had to pay €10 per towel not a problem but at the end of the day we wanted to get clean towels we were told no we had to wait till the next day very strange when walking around the hotel the whole place is very old and needs updating even though we were told the Pool had just been referred. It is nowhere near as nice as the pictures that they show on the Internet obviously the photographer did a very good job! Staff don’t smile either !

This hotel is feeling rather tired. They have renewed furniture in the bar area but the rooms need attention. We paid extra for a deluxe suite as we had stayed in a junior suite before and wanted something more comfortable but were disappointed. The furniture in the lounge area was drab and uninspired. The weather was cool and rainy so we tried to turn the air conditioning to a heat setting…only to find that there is no heating in the hotel! At one point we were sitting in the bar area wearing jackets! The staff were friendly and worked hard. Breakfast was ok but the bread was stale and curling at the edges-no excuse as Spanish bread is usually delicious. The hotel looks good from the outside with a pleasant bar area and a lovely pool but it’s time to refresh the rooms. This was our third but our last visit.

Easy check in, newly refurbished room with private terrace, excellent quality evening meal & breakfast in very pleasant restaurant. Nice coffee & bar area to sit in too. We were not disturbed by the refurbishment taking place at the hotel. Quiet area with free hotel parking. We did not use the extensive spa facilities which would have cost €22.50 per person for 90 minutes. Would recommend staying here.

Lovely hotel, but most of all great staff... big shout out the the cleaners who taught my some Spanish.... and the biggest shout out to Fran at the desk ... he was amazing .. he couldnt do enough for us, Arranging taxis, breakfast packs amongst other stuff. He is a real asset to your hotel!!

Restaurant food and drinks were over priced including the breakfasts. My partner had chops all bone and no meat vegetables were not cooked and very limited. Salmon over cooked to dry no sauce. Cheesecake tasted like cake no sauce very dry. Service appalling had to wait 5 minutes before we were shown a table. No 'good evening or how are you today' bad manners all round. Made it clear that only local residents were welcome and not foreigners. Will not recommend this hotel to anybody. Would like a refund as had to go and eat somewhere else as we were still hungry.

Hotel a diez minutos de la playa de Guardamar en coche con unas instalaciones en general muy buenas de un hotel de cuatro estrellas. Tiene parking privado incluido en el precio en la puerta del hotel vigilado por las noches y sobre todo con cargadores eléctricos que es una gozada si llevas un coche eléctrico híbrido. Las habitaciones son cómodas y amplias pero los colchones demasiado blandos. El aire acondicionado es un poco vintage así que para regularlo correctamente por la noche pasas un poco de calor. El desayuno es muy bueno y completo y hasta las 11 de la mañana. No probé ni el spa ni la piscina pero tiene muy buena pinta. En fin repetiré si vuelvo por Guardamar porque merece la pena.

Lovely hotel, staff are great, particularly in the restaurant. They catered for me with vegan options that were thoughtful and very well executed. Plenty of parking in covered bays. Lots of little restaurants nearby. Area is quiet and safe, close to lakes and safe walks. Beds very comfortable, spotlessly clean. Dropped a star for noisy aircon, mirror being perished around the edges and plastic wrapping on soap and in bin liners. There’s no body or hand lotion, no conditioner, only shampoo and shower gel. Also, I read in some reviews that the rooms have kettles, there was no kettle in our room, only two small bottles of water.

Bott här många gånger de senaste 10 åren och kommer gärna åter emellanåt. Trevlig personal, skön säng, god frukost, rent och mycket välskött i hela hotellanläggningen och utomhusytor med vacker trädgård och pool, vilken dock är stängd vinterhalvåret. Stor gratis parkering också ett stort plus.

Weve stayed here 5 times now. The pool is lovely and the spa is nice. Bar area lovely and a few bars, cafes and wstaurant right next door. Does need some tlc but its good value, safe, quiet and our go to when visiting family

The hotel Laguna is a pleasant hotel with helpful staff. It’s clean, it’s quiet and our room, a junior suit was fine, albeit overlooking the road/car park (room 107) but not everyone can have a view. We decided on half board, breakfast and evening meal, however, there is the option of lunch instead of the evening meal. We found the breakfast was reasonable, various choices of continental or cooked food, however the bacon was usually cold! A good selection of fruit and cereal was on offer and so all on all not bad. The evening meals were disappointing, on the first night I had pork knuckle my wife had fish (soul) the soul was awful, the tail end of the fish and poorly cooked. My pork knuckle wasn’t bad. The second night we both chose the Iberian pork, it was chewy and inedible. The third night we both chose the pork cheek, an awful cut of fatty meat which we couldn’t eat. In fairness when asked by the waiter how the food was we gave him an honest answer and we were offered another meal, which we declined, we took a trip to Burger King. The starters and deserts were ok, the hotel does offer A La Cart but we didn’t try that and so couldn’t comment. All in all the hotel is lovely, the staff are great and the place is spotless. They need to focus on their ingredients for the half board option as they are poor, but I’m sure that the chef is great but you can’t make a silk purse out of a sows ear. I would recommend this hotel for a stay but I would opt for bed and breakfast only.

As always a lovely stay here. The Hotel has recently undergone a refurbishment which has vastly improved its image, it was beginning to look 'tired' so the refurbishment has been very welcome. Going back in a couple of months time.
