Clean, friendly staff, indoor pool and great breakfast buffet

The property and room were clean and well appointed, plus a little wear and tear. Everything would have been great, but the main reason I chose this location is due to the indoor, HEATED pool. However, the pool was as cold as the creek behind my house. So, we left.

We called Friday to be sure the pool was working and they said yes. We get there to check in at 3:30 pm and they tell us the pool is closed due to chemicals being put in it but it should be open later in the evening or in the morning . Saturday comes and our softball games were canceled so we just sit in the hotel. Of course again the pool is still closed. My tv doesn’t work . Only thing I could do is turn the volume up and down. Toilet leaks, you have to hold the handle down until it flushes for it to flush correctly then u get a puddle of water between the toilet and tub. The front desk worker came down Saturday evening and finally got my tv working. Again ball games got canceled for Sunday but they again told us the pool would be open on the morning so we figured we would just let the girls swim before we check out. AGAIN- the pool wasn’t open Sunday either and I was told they never even had anyone come out and look at it so they knew it wasn’t going to be able to be used all weekend anyways . I wish they’d just been honest and we would’ve went somewhere else . I won’t be staying here again. I’d rather give another place my money that is gonna be honest! Breakfast was descent but the potatoes were so salty we couldn’t even eat them . Great variety of foods though.

Our accommodations for my husband's disability was treated seriously and they took good care of us. The room was clean and pretty comfortable, the bathroom was small and was difficult for my husband to use comfortably. Overall though, it was a good hotel, with a nice indoor pool and good breakfast buffet.

Very quiet. Easy parking. Easy access to interstate and to all the local restaurants. The atrium and pool area were nice and the breakfast was fantastic!

I was told that the pool was down for maintenance, pump broke. It’s still not open 6 wks later. The original room that was given wasn’t ready. Had to call the office to let them know that it was still being worked on. The best thing is the breakfast.

When they said it was supposed to be a heated pool it did not have a heated pool it was very cold I was very disappointed because that's the reason I went there for the heated pool.

Everything was great except the air conditioner in the room didn’t work. They have the best breakfast. The employees are so nice and everything is so clean. There needs to be an elevator though. It’s a great hotel and it’s cheap and this is where we choose to stay when playing at the ballfields.

The room was nice. The carpet in the room was so dirty that my child within minutes of taking a shower and walking around room with no shoes on had dirty black feet. The cleaning people never came and cleaned our room the whole time we were there. Our towels were never replaced during our stay. I had to go to front desk to ask for towels, toilet paper, and trash bags.the man that was working the front desk said the didn’t have no towels except two and I would have to make do. I told him I needed four towels and he went and got more somewhere else and brought them to the room. The free breakfast was good if they had it. They ran out of food long before the time was up on the breakfast. They kitchen staff said they were bringing more out and time went by so I knocked on kitchen door. No one responded so I peeked around corner just to find the lady standing and playing on her phone. When I got her attention she brought out the food that was hot and waiting to be taken out. And the swimming pool was so cold that no one wanted to swim in it. These are small things that add up. We still Managed to enjoy our trip and our stay at this hotel. A couple of fixes and it would have been perfect. I would go back to this place in the future!

Rooms were very clean! Water pressure was awesome! You can tell it is an older hotel, but they do keep it very clean. There are areas that could use some tlc, but for a comfortable nights stay it was good.

Room was infested with roaches. Roaches were crawling on the bed and one crawled across my pregnant daughter’s face.

Rooms smelled so horribly of smoke and body odor that we were unable to stay at the hotel. Also one bed was full of food crumbs and there were bugs all in the bed.

The hotel is in a good location, close to restaurants, walmart, gas. The rooms are clean, smell clean, linens look bright white and new. The rooms are obviously older that have been painted, or made an attempt to fix up. A little rough - my bathroom door didn't shut --there was a gap between the door and the latch of almost an inch. However, the price is right, and the location is good.

The heater was broke in our room, the place is dingy and smelled like chlorine due to the pool being in the center of the rooms. Staff gave off a creepy vibe, so when the heater didn't work we didn't even want to go talk to them about it, bundled under blankets for the night and left that morning

The bolt lock on the room door did not work. Light bulbs are missing, and there is a large vent in the bathroom that allows you to see into the lighted attic area above. Changed rooms, and the bolt lock didn't work. Got a refund and went elsewhere.

Air conditioner wasn’t pushing cold air and the mini fridge wasn’t working

The heater was very loud.

Our room was clean . But a/c didn’t work and a whole was cut in bath room the size of a head and a vent on it . My grandson got up to it to look in the hole and it’s like a walk space between the rooms and there is a stool under the hole . It was creepy. They did give us another room and it did not have the hole cut in the wall like that.and a/c worked great in last room.

From the pictures it looked decent, once I got to the room it was not well maintained. You couldn’t even close the front door easily my husband had to push all of his weight into the door with his shoulder. The bathroom door didn’t close either, the room had a musty smell to it. I didn’t even feel comfortable taking a shower the only thing that was positive was the beds seemed to be clean with clean sheets and mattress protectors.

Rooms were good but the air conditioning could use an upgrade. It was muggy in the room cause the air conditioner couldn’t keep up. The beds and pillows were great .

Our room was in the back out building. Our bed was sunk in the middle. The hotel door stuck and was hard to open and close. The room had this dull stinky smell. The shower had more water coming out of tub rather the shower head. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! If I could give it 0 stars I would. Let me start by saying that the pool was closed and that was the reason for booking the hotel was the pool. Second thing was the room was disgusting and smelt horrible. Third is that the water smelt horrible and was also brown. Fourth was that the air didnt work and the vents are filled with mold. Dead bugs in the corner. The hotel smelt like something died in it and they tried to cover it with bleach. We ended up leaving early because we all were sick and my daughter was the worst. The mini frige was broke, microwave kept locking when it was finished cooking and you had to unplug it to get it unlocked to get your food out. When I tried to go to the desk at night to ask about any of it, nobody was there. The breakfast I'm sure was left overs because I was sick to my stomach all day throwing up, had the sweats and chills, or they are not keeping it at the correct temperature while sitting. We had to leave so we didnt get sicker than we were. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY THERE. I am demanding a refund, the hotel will not respond. Its either a refund or hospital bills ( which my insurance is not in network with the hospital I went to) because of breathing issues from my daughters asthma flaring up over mold. This was a disgrace, expedia should be ashamed of listing it on their site.

They let us make the reservation then had to wait 2 hours to check in because they wouldn’t let us do to us bring 18, even though the reservation said you only had to be 18. Also, the pool was broken the entire time. Staff was terrible too.

Hotel experience was bad due to being woken up 3 times by loud bangs and a person hanging out outside our room in middle of night. Called front desk and clerk said they would investigate but 15 minutes later we heard another loud bang that woke us up. Hotel itself was nice but bad experience.

We arrived late and left early. Very little time there. It was just a stop to get our granddaughter at camp. But, the staff was so friendly and helpful when we arrived late and were so tired.

I booked online & did not know the different room configurations available. The friendly Hostess upgraded our room, so it was inside the main building and opened directly onto the pool patio. Our bed was very comfortable, and the shower maintained great water temperature and pressure. An even bigger bonus = the shower drained well. Our room was clean!

Very clean and comfortable, no smells or anything with a soft bed and squishy pillows. The breakfast was hot and fresh every morning with a wide range of options that rotated each day. Clean parking lot and the location was right by the local Walmart and other food and service outlets making it very convenient. Very importantly to me is that they are pet friendly and do not have an outrageous pet fee. It was just a one time charge for all nights. Wholly a wonderful experience for me and my pup overall, and we will certainly be back again!

Everything was good, while we stayed. Easy to get to wherever we went. My grandson has baseball and the park was minutes from the motel, that was great. And the buffet breakfast was wonderful.

Food was delicious! Pool was nice - inside! No sun screen needed. Many places to eat and Walmart was across the street. Very convenient. Super helpful staff with great attitudes!

It was very convenient. We were in town for a softball tournament. And we were less than a half a mile from the field. There are several food restaurants in walking distance and Walmart. The continental breakfast was solid. Hotel was very clean and the staff was excellent. Also had a microwave and a large mini fridge.

The best hot breakfast ever!!!

Needs a little update. Room was cozy. The property overall was very pleasant. The breakfast was the best hotel food I have ever eaten. Lots of options to choose from. Front desk employees was very nice and accommodating. Will definitely be staying here again when in the area for ballgames.

The breakfast was awesome, bed was comfortable. For the price you couldn't beat it. It was rated a 4 because the toilet seat slid sideways when you sat on it, nothing worse, and an easy fix.
