La Quinta by Wyndham Loudon

The outside grounds had trash on and around the parking lot. Items ranged from underwear to some cans along with a boot box. The inside lobby area and eating area was nice but the room needed some attention to repairs. Bathtub faucet was loose/wobbly.

So far everything has been wonderful. The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean, and the breakfast was ok (I've had worse and I've had better). My recommendations is that the elevator needs to be bigger or at least more than one for an entire 3-story hotel. The indoor swimming pool might as well be outside... it was sooooooo hot and stuffy in there.. and it was at 8pm!

The pool was not heated and the tub was a little dirty, but other than that it was great and the staff was wonderful!

The grass was knee high around the property. Also a lot of trash and bricks gasoline can laying around the property.

The pool was over chlorinated. The Hot tub keys didn’t seem to work properly. The front Staff is not very friendly or helpful. The room was clean but the sheets were very uncomfortable. Very gritty from the threads balling up

Property is under construction and was noisy and messy with the work they're doing. Pool/hot tub needed cleaning. Room we booked wasnt as described but front desk tried to help with different room. Staff was friendly.

Nice and comfortable. Stains at the bottom of the pool that didnt look so good. There was also a visible sticky mouse trap in the bathroom of the common area. Breakfast was tasty.

Feeling safe is my top priority. I felt very safe. The staff were all so nice. The room was spotless.

The bathroom was not completely clean. The to I let was a little dirty and there were human and pet hairs in several places in the bathroom. It just wasn't thoroughly cleaned. Also, 1 of the beds had sheets with hairs all over it.

I chose this la Quinta for the 9/10 guest rating. This hotel needs some bathroom upgrades to get it to baseline, and the cleaning needs attention. The bathroom walls, baseboards, even the light switch were filthy. The linens were clean and there were plenty of towels, the bed was also clean. No sleep timer function in the tv. Privacy curtains have seen better days

We came in fairly late at night (10:00 p.m.) because we were traveling from Florida to Ohio. The employee at the front desk was very friendly and efficient and had us checked in quickly. Even though there were a lot of people staying there, it was very quiet overnight. The room and common areas were very clean, and the breakast was exceptional for a hotel breakfast (even the coffee was great!). I highly recommend this LaQuinta, and I will definitely stay again on our next trip through.

Carpet was dirty and room smelled like a wet dog.

Was hard to sleep at night, noise that sounded like a jet going overhead? Don't know if it was the AC or what ? Get rid of that noise and you'll be golden.

All was as expected. The only part we didn't like was the lack of firmness in the beds. It was too soft for us.

My room was next to a machine room which turned on late in the evening. Very disruptive to me.

The suite was huge but no real feel.of a suite. Furniture was old and stained and just weirdly layed out. Ac was hard to control temp either to hot or to cold. Not sure it was working right.

We stayed in a King suite that was handicap accessible. It was very spacious for the 5 of us (6 including our dog) and the microwave and refrigerator were life savers. The selection of microwave meals and beverages at the front desk were a pleasant surprise and the indoor pool saved our family.

The air conditioner was very loud, sounded like a bearing was going.

I booked a large king suite. When I arrived, they checked me into a regular king room. I asked for the suite I booked or cancel my reservation. They gave me a small king suite at the price of the large suite I booked. I reluctantly accepted.

Lowest rating possible given by this guest - ask me why! Was the hotel neat & clean? Yes. Was the room & bed comfortable? Yes. So what's my beef? Any business you care to mention is at the mercy of management. Both the night manager and the manager on duty the following day couldn't care less about their jobs. Both my wife and myself have stayed at this hotel over the years, both together and separately in our travels, and we have always found the hotel to be a bastion of southern hospitality. No more. While I understand a business may want to bill itself as being "pet friendly" that does not give license to being tone deaf to the needs of the other, non-pet owning guests. On the occasion of this stay, June 3-4, I showed up after a long drive and was soon dead-to-the-world until a yapping dog cut loose around 10:30 right outside of my door. I literally jumped from the startle reflex. During the next several hours it took me to get back to sleep I could hear dogs barking in other parts of the building. The following morning I was #2 in line behind another guest complaining to the tone-deaf day manager about his experience in this dog pound. The manager's voice was dripping with condescension as he told both of us in so many words to stay elsewhere next time. Clearly, this chain is scraping the bottom of the barrel for management personnel, and it shows in the unengaged demeanor of these two managers. I/we will not be staying here again.

The check-in was quick and easy and they hotel desk representative was extremely courteous and helpful. I found the room clean and in good order. I slept fine and felt safe.

The hotel was very clean, modern, beautiful area and most of all the staff was super nice and helpful.

There was water leaking in the bathroom from underneath the tub requiring us to use a towel to keep it from pooling under the toilet. The tub itself was curved oddly in the basin and made it difficult to stand safely during a shower. Our room was immediately next to the lobby and front desk area (despite having a mostly empty hotel - what's up with that?), and the front desk woman was quite noisy on their personal phone until around 10:30-11:30pm. We were forced to fall asleep with the TV on to drown out the noise from guests arriving and the front desk lady. While not the worst experience, I would most likely not return to this hotel nor recommend it.

We got in around 9 pm tired from a long drive the lady at the front desk was very kind. Getting us a spare bed and towels for the pool. Answered any of questions and was more than willing to go the extra mile for some tired travelers. Overall very clean rooms and the breakfast was good. Not a heated indoor pool but had a indoor hot tub which was very nice especially after a long drive. Safe area outside city right on highway. Did not worry about car or walking around outside. I would recommend.

Hotel was super convenient to Tennessee national Golf Club, the staff was over the top nice and helped me with finding places to eat (which if you are there in Loudon, I highly recommend the diner, they made me feel like family and the food was spectacular. It is a family owned business about 2 miles from the hotel or El Señor is literally around the corner, if you need a really good margarita and the food was great as well) when we return for another golf tournament I will definitely stay here again
