Our rooms were nice size and very clean. The pool was perfect. (Could use a few more chairs around pool area for people to set). Breakfast was definitely carbs, not protein, but that's what we understood before booking, so we weren't disappointed. Great location for beach and parks. We had a wonderful time. Thank You Super 8

second time staying here. Still a great stay for the money, staff were very friendly. Hotel is clean, nice hot showers. Pool is really nice. We stayed in the outside portion of the hotel this time. Walls were definitely thin especially if you are sleeping next to people who were staying up until 1am like us. Would still stay here again.

Elevator was broken due to a power surge but stairs were easy and well lit. I was disappointed with the continental breakfast options. Milk jug was empty for cereal and no real cream for the coffee.

This was a very nice motel. The room was extremely clean, large, and the air was already on when we walked in. The fridge was cold and the freezer actually froze my ice packs. Which was great bc their ice machine was broken. They do put a $150 hold on your card which I thought was a bit excessive for a super 8, but it was off my card shortly after I checked out. Every staff member I encountered was very friendly and I felt safe at the property. I will definitely stay here again when I come to the Port Huron area :)

Super fair price, pools OK. Rooms are clean and well kept the building shows some age on the walls and around the space heater. Breakfast options are scarce and bland but filling. Staff were fantastic. Area is very safe great town. Loud road next to hotel(advised to get exterior room in the back if you are a light sleeper). All around good for the price not really any complaints just summing up my stay.

Staff was nice, rooms were updated and clean. Mattresses and pillows were too firm for my liking. Our bathroom door wouldn’t shut well. We had to lift and push on the door to get it to shut, which was a little annoying. Breakfast was a typical basic continental breakfast. Unfortunately, not much available if you’re gluten intolerant like myself. My number one concern with any hotel is cleanliness and this place hit the mark, so I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and comfortable. We have always enjoyed staying here. This was our first time in the exterior and it is nice and roomy. The only problem is that the heating system is noisy.

The breakfast was very limited, nothing fresh, no fruit, two choices of cereal, no baked goods. The rooms are only cleaned after 3 days so in other words, there is no service at all for a 2-3 night stay. The beds are truly "double", not queen, and feel tiny for two people! The hotel is fairly clean but just needs a good remodel to bring it up to day. The staff are friendly.

Person beside us was smoking weed and the smell was there. The other side someone was hacking and sounded like they were dying. The walls were really thin. As for the room. It wasn’t anything special. The one room didn’t even have a bedside light in it. Was expecting a bit more for the “suite” that I paid for. I would recommend sheers for the windows because with the curtains open it was too wide open and no privacy. So the curtains were closed 100% of the time.

We never made it to check in. Desk clerk so very rude. We had 4 people staying in our room and had so only 4 people could enter the pool area. I had two grand kids come to visit there, main purpose for the stay and the clerk, rather than offering a suggestion to our Delima of too many kids, said "YOU CAN JUST LEAVE". This verbiage was used multiple time during our decision-making process. Even when I booked an extra room that was unneeded, the clerk kept repeating, you can just leave, I can cancel your rooms. Never in all my years of traveling have I ever been treated so rudely. Apparently, he didn't want to work that night as the hotel appeared to be just about empty. He ran two rooms for two nights out. We have stayed at this hotel before as my grandkids are close but were never treated like this. I will never be staying there again.

Was in walking distance to several areas we were interested in. Room was fairly clean, but had a musty smell. Check in took over a half hour with 3 people in front of us. Desk called and woke us up concerned we didn't like our room. That was a red flag that there were issues here.

We started our stay with the kindest man working behind the front desk. He was accommodating, friendly and made us really feel at home. The property has a nice pool and nice rooms for a motel type place. The rooms were ordinary but the beds were comfortable, the bathroom and facility was clean and the air conditioning worked great. There are several coffee shops and fast food places right around the motel. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This was our second stay at this hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and room was decent size with a fairly large bathroom. Great quality especially for the price. We did not use the large indoor pool nor eat breakfast but they offer it. Close to restaurants and stores. Highway is also only a few miles away. We will be staying again.

I liked the hotel location. It’s near a walking path that I walked to the St. Clair River. The room was comfortable and the continental breakfast was okay; I enjoyed the coffee, juices and breads. The staff was friendly and efficient. I would stay in this hotel again.

Check-in was simple and straightforward. Front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating. Room itself was clean, spacious. Glad to have the fridge and microwave. Beds very small but we knew this going in. Very comfortable. Meeting room/party room was reserved for FREE, this was a bonus for our group. Only suggestion for improvement is to vary the breakfast selection from day to day. All in all great value.

Your night clerk Daniel was excellent! Friendly, funny and very accommodating. Facilities were exceptional. A workout room would have been ‘icing on the cake’! Don’t know how old the facility is but it looked brand new. Location was great for our purpose of attending an event. Places to eat nearby were abundant. Only less than exceptional thing I would rate would be the breakfast. The morning we went to have breakfast was pretty much all carbs. Only ‘protein’ was the sausage gravy for the biscuits. Just some boiled eggs would have been a good addition. Also no fresh fruit like apples or bananas, otherwise had a decent variety of high carb breakfast options. Overall, no deficiencies in the facility and staff itself. Would absolutely recommend and will stay again for any future event
