J'y retournerai.

I’ve stayed at The Savoy five or six times over the past year, and every time I come to Miami, I choose to stay here. It’s genuinely become my home away from home in South Beach. My absolute favourite part is the beach area. Being able to walk straight from the hotel onto the beach is such a luxury, and it’s where I spend most of my time. The hotel does have a mandatory resort fee of around $51 USD per day for the pool and beach amenities, but it includes your beach chairs and umbrella. Having the umbrella included makes a difference, as many South Beach hotels charge quite a bit extra for one. I love the overall vibe of the hotel. It’s charming, clean, quiet and incredibly relaxing, while still being close to everything I need — restaurants, CVS, shopping and everything South Beach has to offer. The pools are always clean, there’s consistently space to relax, and the music is never too loud. The staff are also incredibly friendly and accommodating. I usually have a couple of requests when I stay, and they’re always taken care of for me. I travel to Miami by myself and usually book a suite. During the winter, I like to come down for about five days at a time, and staying at The Savoy has become my little escape. I just got back from my most recent stay a week and a half ago, and I already can’t wait to book my next one.

Not sure it was worth the money. No one at the hotel seemed to know my room number when using amenities, claimed I wasn’t staying in the room I was in when at the beach, no beverage or food services at the beach was annoying for hours on end, getting a drink at the bar took an act of Congress and there was no towels available for guests at the pool; and although I was granted a late checkout at 12, staff showed up at 11:20 questioning why I was still in the room. This hotel needs to get their act together because one side isn’t talking to the other. Won’t be spending my money here again.
