Absolutely love this one! Customer service is great, housekeeping does a good job, and I love the rooms here too. The pool is kept up and you can grill on the patio. The best part is I feel comfortable with my little ones here. We get waffles for breakfast and pool fun anytime we get the chance. Blessed 🙌 😇 🙏

Great staff terrible parking system not enough spots because a bunch of stupid people that didnt register their vehicles were and still ate parking in all spots to where u would have to go to walmart and walk to ur room. They for some reason dont have them towed so the actual guests and extreamly inconvenienced.

PARKING IS TERRIBLE!!! Not enough spaces or monitoring the spaces when u check in u register your vehicle. That being said if there is a bunch of people who aren't even staying there who haven't registered their. Car. They need to be towed! Im disabled and couldn't even take my car to the gas station(visible from hotel) without losing the only space there is. Its something that needs to be handled almost had to park across the street at pizza inn. Ridiculous.

This place is ok. It's what it is. If you need a somewhat cheap place with a falling apart building that's what you will get. At least there were waffles to eat in the morning at the breakfast spot they had set up. But the room was in terrible condition. The floors were literally peeling off the ground. And the paint on the ceiling was falling down. Bed was cozy if you remembered to bring more pillows.

The room met all our demands. Clean, A/C worked. Shower was nice after a long-hot day working outside. Breakfast was delicious. Beds were comfy. Hallway was QUIET... Service was helpful. We were part of the Movie set titled: "The Chosen Season 6" filmed at The Salvation Army Hoblitzelle Camp.

We got what we paid for with a small bonus. This place is pet friendly, though some of the customers, not so much. Friendly and helpful at the front desk. Pool had water (uncommon in the budget line) and was clean. Didn't swim as the weather we cold and rainy. Bonus, linens and towels were the cleanest I've ever seen in a budget hotel, rivales top tear in that respect. Also, quieter than most budget motels just off the highway. Walmart is just a walk up the hill and so is Vera Cruze Café.

We snagged this hotel because it was last minute and cheap. You get what you pay for. Room was dirty and extremely rundown. Cigarette burns in the comforter, smoke alarm hanging from the ceiling, door didn't seal completely, no towels or toiletries, room stunk, wallpaper peeling off the walls.

This was a pain to book because it said the total price with fees would be $77, but when I tried to check out, I had to pay $10 more. NOT GOOD! It wasn't until the THIRD time I booked it (a couple of days later) that the price was actually dropped to $77. Second problem: I was told there was no check in desk. We could make entrance outside. According to the hotel there IS a check in desk, and we used it to check in. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT in your listing! The hotel has no idea why the listing says what it says. HOWEVER, the room was nice, the bed firm, the appliances.and TV working. It was nothing fancy, but I didn't need fancy. I needed a place to sleep close to the church where my uncle's funeral would be the next day. I got exactly that in a good, clean, convenient place. It was all I needed in a great place to stay. The check in person was friendly, and we were well pleased with the room and the convenient location with Wal-Mart and restaurants. Happily recommend and would definitely stay there again if going to be in the area.

Very in need of updating and a good scrubbing.. The blanket and bedspread had holes in them and were super thin and old. The shower water pressure was awesome and the staff friendly at check in but definitely outdated and in need of upgrades

Bathtub was filthy room had flies all over it. Wallpaper was peeling off television was stuck on the Spanish channels and you couldn’t get it off. It was barely hanging on the wall. This place was a total poop hole.

Disgustingly dirty, wallpaper and baseboards had been repaired and affixed to the dirty walls with staples . Awakened early because it sounded like we were trying to sleep in the middle of a freeway. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Door jambs at entry and bathroom were cracked having been kicked in some time in the past. Didn’t feel safe in this place or the surrounding neighborhood. Steer clear of this place.

Staff was helpful. Hotel is old. Bathroom needs help. Lots of patching and scratches in tub. Bed was comfortable. Had lots of wifi issues. Finally got it fixed well enough to use our laptops the 3rd day. TV has no stations, have to have your own streaming services and then they don't work because the internet is so poor, kept buffering and shutting down.

Woke up to the biggest Brown Recluse I have ever seen crawling across the floor. Pieces of the floor were missing. Bath tub/ shower had cracks. WiFi was pretty much non-existent it was so bad.

We have stayed here numerous times visiting family. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and attentive. Manager is pleasant and accommodating (we had an issue with Expedia necessitating a room change; also we were late for breakfast but he brought some things back out for my granddaughter to eat). There is a Walmart adjacent the property and Midlothian is a nice small Texas town atmosphere but with modern business available. This is a good value basic hotel and we will continue to stay here.

We attended a concert down the road and this was closest hotel for us to the venue. It was a one night stay after a concert. We were tired so slept well! Didn’t like Roku because I’m just not familiar with using the remote. Did like the couch since it had the reclining feature for your feet. Coffee was good in the morning. We walked around stretching our legs and felt safe without issue! Walmart is just next door!

We ended up switching hotels 2 nights into our stay due to safety concerns. Family in the area mentioned a possible shooting at or near this location the week prior. And found a history of incidents on Google. We also noticed cars hanging around the hotel that were not staying at the hotel. (Ex. Parking and staying in their vehicle watching the area before eventually leaving) The hotel was clean but run down. Cracks and yellowing in the walls. Outlets and lights that didn’t work. Front door wouldn’t shut well, etc
