Quality Inn Mount Pleasant

There was lots of road construction around hotel that did not make it easy to get in the parking lot. Nor were there adequate parking spaces.

Run down facilities and gym. Smells like smoke

Check in was great. That was about all. Our room was tiny. Not worth almost 225$. The room smelled like pee and very musty. The atm in the lobby kept malfunctioning as well as the doors to get in. Yikes, it was bad.

When I arrived, my room door was already unlocked, which felt unsafe. I asked a housekeeper if the room had been cleaned, but due to a language barrier, I had to find someone else to confirm. Once inside, several things didn’t work—including the fridge, microwave, and TV, despite being plugged in. The toilet was visibly dirty, the bedding smelled unclean, and the room felt humid with barely functioning AC. I ended up buying my own cleaning supplies from Meijer and slept on top of a towel and blanket rather than using the bedding. Common areas weren’t any better—hallway lights flickered, the elevator reeked of smoke and had sticky stains all over the walls that were never cleaned. I didn’t try the breakfast, and parking was hard to find after 8pm. Overall, not a comfortable or sanitary experience.

Very clean through out. Breakfast was great. Service was excellent. Requested a accessible room bathtub in 201 is not accessible Accessible door buttons at front door did not work ( we use walkers)

The property and hotel are very clean! They do NOT have shuttle service to the Casino as advertised.

Outdated, limited parking and no pool.

Not enough parking for the amount of rooms they have. Overall good friendly service, decent continental breakfast althoughdining area is very small. Area is very convenient for many dining options, casino, college. Blankets smelled kind of musty but were clean. Clean rooms. A little dated but would stay again. Very affordable.

The sheets were dirty. Like someone slept in one of the beds. The hair dryer was broken. Floors needed to be cleaned and vacuumed. Had a mold smell in the room. Noisy air conditioning system. Was not a nice room.

Rooms are very small. Not updated. Dirty cleaning rag was left on pillow.

Bedding was not changed from previous guest. Pulled down bedding and there were crumbs all over the sheets. Called front office and they brought clean sheets for us to change ourselves.

The hotel room smell like mildew

Everything was good except when I had to plug the coffee pot in and the dust/filth behind desk was awful. I felt like the room was dirty because of that.

This was the worst hotel I have ever taken my wife. Way overpriced at $265/night, looked at other weekends and see only $100/night normally. Price raised for concert!!! Absolutely No valid reason why Expedia rates this an 8.0 hotel. We stayed there because we were attending a concert that was at a nearby casino. I called the hotel before reserving to ask if they had a shuttle; they told me they had a 24/7 free shuttle to/from the casino. When got to hotel and asked about shuttle, they gave me a phone number for a local cab service (no shuttle exists). Room was dirty, smudges on mirrors and walls, curtains worn through with many holes, toilet dirty under lip and streaks of mold into bowl, small bottles of liquid soap/lotion were obviously open/used, alarm clock unreadable due to missing LEDs. I took lots of photos but can't attach in this forum.

Check in was great. Room was clean. Could use some updating but room was functional and bed was comfortable.

The shower was dirty. When lifting up the drain, bugs came flying out. The water did not go down in the shower until 15 minutes after getting out. Shower curtain had a cigarette hole in it. When telling the staff of the plumbing issue, they said, “Oh, ok.”

The room was very small, and the road noise was bad. This hotel needs to be updated and cleaned, smells musty.

This was the smallest room that I have ever stayed in with the exception of a room in Japan. With two of us in the room only one person could walk from one side of the room to the other. There was literally no room for two people to pass each other at the end of the bed. The breakfast was mostly a starch fest but the waffle maker was nice.

The room was really tiny. The desk light didn't work nor did the entry light. Otherwise the stay was relatively quiet considering that my room faced the street noise.

Property was clean inside. Didn't feel that it was a good value for the daily rate. Room was small and could here a lot of street noise as well as just normal talking from adjacent rooms.

Small rooms

Room was great for a quick overnight but was a small/tight room. Water pressure in the room was extremely low. That said, the room was clean. The staff was extremely nice and it was close to everything you could need.

Room was not large but was sufficient for the night - clean and comfortable. Our room was in front of hotel near the main street so a little loud; would request away from street next time. Lobby decorated nicely for the holidays. Staff was friendly.

Checking in was everything but wonderful. It was beyond awful. Extremely unprofessional and made us uncomfortable. The gentleman at the desk was helping another guest when we arrived. He was havign difficulty with the guests card and had to call someone, he ended up hanging up on the person on the phone and said stupid dumb mother eff. Was rasing his voice asking how to charge the guests card so he can get is effing money. And kept repeating that, he apologized saying he was in a bad mood. That he wasnt supposed to work and they forced him and he wanted to go to sleep. Kept saying not to bother him anymore because he wanted to go to sleep. Finally got to our check in, and he was again saying not to bother anymore cause he wanted to sleep. Was upset i was not using the card on file with Hotels.com, i forgot that card so i had to use a different one. We kept asking for a receipt and was told they couldnt give us one. The elevator did not have the service/maintenance report which is legally required. It was removed. I do have photo and video. The curtains in the room did not close all the way, there was about a 4 inch gap, we had to use a hair clip to have privacy from the outside, which our room was very visible from the outside. Beyond unpleasant. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

The front desk staff was very ftienfly

It was very nice and reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the TV/remote. I could not figure it out and a staff member came down and he had trouble but finally got TV channels up but after he left and i started scrolling through them they disappeared and i could never get them back. I had my phone so it was a minor inconvenience.

Our lady at check in was very nice.

We arrived late night, no body at check in desk, have to call and wait several minutes to get a people. Check in very slow. And the most weird thing is they knock your door at 12:35 and 5:08. Other guests have same problems as well.

Nice place to stay, easy on and off highway, and close to casino.

Nice room for the price and close to the Soaring Eagle casino. Although the room was quite small it served our purpose and the breakfast in the morning was a bonus. We would definitely stay here again!

Convenient location for our visit to CMU.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel itself was a little rundown, minor improvements could make a world of difference. For $200 a night the breakfast was terrible, very limited, dry biscuits and basic sausage links and microwaved eggs.

On the surface it looked like recent renovations had been made, which looked very nice. The room was clean and the beds were relatively comfortable. Look deeper though and we found so many more repairs need to be made. Our toilet handle was very loose, and the water ran off and on all day. In the breakfast area the juice machine was broken. A section of countertop had nothing on it except a power strip, leaving me to believe more equipment was broken and removed before we arrived. One morning during breakfast I overheard another guest checking out who mentioned to the desk clerk that their shower needed repairs. Honestly if it hadn't been for these necessary repairs I'd have given them one more star on my rating, but the condition of the hotel was disappointing.

Everything was good except for the free breakfast. Breakfast had been only open for 45 minutes and most everything was empty and never refilled in all the time my family eat.

It was not the newest or nicest Quality Inn that I have stayed in. The interior of the room was showing some age and the curtains were frayed. Breakfast was nothing special beyond bagels, toast, and yogurt. The location served my travel purposes but I would not seek out this hotel again.
