We had a mixed experience at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport In-Terminal Hotel. The staff, including the bell team and front desk, were friendly, and the room was clean and spacious. However, we were disappointed with the bed quality. The mattress was too soft, and I was frequently disturbed by my partner’s turning and rolling during the night. Given the premium price we paid, we expected better sleep quality, especially considering most hotels we've stayed at have beds that minimize partner disturbance. Additionally, the bathroom sliding door was noisy and troublesome, especially when I tried to close it quietly in the early morning while my partner was still sleeping. Unfortunately, the noise woke my partner up. Due to these issues, we wouldn't recommend this Fairmont hotel to friends.
