Although this Best Western is a Motel style, the room was quiet, clean and the beds at the Best Westerns we've stayed at are very comfortable. Breakfast area was kept clean and stocked. Not a fancy breakfast but hot and enough choices to get you fed and on your way. Front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. Easy on and off highway.

I will never stay here again! We had to change rooms 3 times due to the cleanliness of the rooms. If it wasnt so late we would have checked out and went to another place. When letting the front desk know about the rooms I was meet with anger and hostility. My kids couldnt even swim in the pool because it was so dirty. NEVER AGAIN!

Found a beer cap and a plastic accessory on the floor/carpet so I'm really not sure if the room was vacuumed after last guest. Rooms are only accessible from the outside, there is no indoor corridor. The rooms are very average, there is an outdoor pool. The price was economical at $130 tax including for 1 night stay.

Everything was fine, except for the swimming pool! The water was cloudy and not inviting. Too many dead flying insects were on top of the water, indicating that the pool filter was not operating long enough each day. We booked the hotel for the pool. Very disappointed!!!

We stayed here because we have two dogs and the hotel is an old fashion motel where the door to your room leads outside where your car is parked…easy to walk dogs at night….the building is old but they made an effort to update somewhat…..u fortunately in our room a patch in the carpet was not down very professionally….over all we would stop there again…staff was friendly

The lady helping with breakfast brightened up our morning after dealing with bugs, a disgusting smell of cigarettes, dirty furniture, damp bedsheets,& weirdly stained blankets.. From now on people should be welcome to see the room before handing over any money. If it wasnt for me being exhausted from my drive i would have demanded to get refunded. Please check your room before deciding to stay here.

I’m not one to complain but the room was filthy. Bathroom was dirty and the floor was wet with a puddle. Toilet was dirty inside and on the outside had stains. The bath mat was black molded and dirty. The tub held water when we showered it did not drain. The bathroom door did not close. The towels were all damp as was everything in the room. The so called clean washcloth rolled up on the sink had a dead bug inside. The sheets were stained and ripped. The smoke detector on the ceiling was covered with a plastic bag, the lamp was missing a bulb so we couldn’t use it. The chair had a big wet looking stain on it. The ac unit was loud and was all wet. It ran non stop and made the room feel wet and smelled very moldy. The pool was cloudy that you couldn’t even see the bottom and looked like an oil slick on top. When we got there at night there were people sitting on the steps in the back yelling and drinking. There were several ashtrays around the outside all full and with beer cans in them. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here!

The room was not cleaned Prior to our check in. There was a pill on the floor that my dog almost got. Clearly the room was not vacuumed. There was used soap in the shower clearly it was not cleaned. Rugs were filthy odor in room like body odor I will not stay here again ever.

Peeling ceilings, dirty floors, bedbugs and the pool was dirty. I have stayed on several occasions with expedia in the passed and this was the worsted. I feel my money was taking from me...I think a refund is in order or better accommodations vouchers

The room itself was pleasant enough looking. However, the sheets on the bed were stained, and there were droppings on the bathroom floor. If the sheets could not have been bleached, they should have been thrown away. I probably will not be staying at this location again.

We were in rm 117, the ac unit leaked during the night causing a 6 foot square area of wet carpeting. In rm 119, the ac unit would not generate any heat during the night.

Yall should really look into a new air conditioning/ exhaust system because why does the bed feel damp from the air conditioner being on while we were not in the room. It was very uncomfortable to say the least. That really took away from the room. It was actually decent other than the OLD carpet.

The toilet seat was broken & struggled to flush, spider webs everywhere & mold growing in the shower sealant. Other than that, not the worst room i have stayed in. Bedding was clean & comfortable. Dogs were welcome water pressure was good! Would stay again if needed just hopefully a slightly more cleaned room.

One of the cleaner and nicer roadside hotels in this stretch of I-95. (Emporia). The only thing is it appears to be on a major truck access road, and some of the rooms are very close to that road, making them somewhat noisy. No other issues or concerns. Would stay here again.

I made a reservation and was assigned a smoking room. The front desk refused to move me to a non smoking. He refused to escalate to a supervisor. He was obstinate and intentionally unhelpful. It appears that all of the rooms are smoking rooms the room I saw stinks like a dirty ashtray and is worn and dark and dingy. People were hanging out along the balconies the stairways and in front of the rooms smoking and drinking making me feel unsafe. Plus the room was upstairs and was very difficult for me to get up there. the front desk told me to never use a third party like Expedia and only book directly with the hotel which I'm pretty sure is a policy violation so I've reported it to Expedia. Regardless of who made the reservation the front desk should have found a way to help. Instead Expedia will give me my money back and I will never stay in a Best Western again and I'll be writing corporate with this complaint.

I was refused check-in because I live within a certain number of miles to the facility. The reception person refused to phone the manager. I had many people come to town for my 60rh birthday party so this was HIGHLY disappointing after I spoke so well of Best Western.

Our room needs new mattress. You can look at it and see the sag in the middle. Other than that the room was fine. It’s a shame there isn’t more dining options available. Only one National restaurant available. We’ll drive further north to find a more suitable hotel and more dining options.

The check-in and breakfast area was clean and updated. The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly. The room was outdated. There had been repairs to the bathroom wall that looked awful. The room was clean except the streaks on the mirror. The air conditioner was very noisy. When we arrived we had reserved a room for four, there were only three sets of towels. When I went down to get towels I asked for additional shampoo and I was told they didn’t have any. They had lotion and conditioner but no shampoo. I would not recommend or stay there again.

The price was very reasonable and it was a good value . The room was clean and it great shape.Check in was smooth.We were amazed how good the breakfast menu was. Eggs ,sausage,waffles, bagels, muffins, cereal and more. Great stop for weary travelers. Nice beds too.

This was hands down the dirtiest hotel I have stayed at in some time. It was poorly cleaned in more ways than I could document. Clientele the night we stayed was very loud and obnoxious deep into the night and somehow the smell of everything they were smoking outside made it's way straight into our room. Mattress had a large depression in the middle. Breakfast only served until 9:00 AM and was instantly gone after that. Sort of hard to get up for early breakfast when you get awakened in the middle of the night by rowdy neighbors or the crappy mattress. Spend a few more dollars and you might find a place you can sleep and get something to eat.
