Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale-Commercial Blvd.

The gym was perfectly accommodated with just enough useful machinery for the traveler needing to keep up with a basic workout. It was clean and cool at all times. Also had great breakfast service.

Elevators were out on NYE

Side door was out of service but the sign was so small that I was unaware and couldn’t read it until I was about to pull it open. I had to walk back to the front of the building with all my luggage. It was a bit annoying. Please use a larger sign next time an entry door is out of service.

Carpets looked new the dining room is nice The exercise equipment is fantastic. I’d stay there again. I do wish the Hilton honors was a bit better ( I don’t use it) as over all booking though Expedia is cheaper and has benefits that are visible

Last time we stayed we were able to leave our car while on our cruise. Thats why we paid extra to stay there. Unfortunately, a guest had their car broken into and sued the hotel. This is what i was told by staff so they no longer honor parking while cruising. Needless to say very disappointed and had to scramble to find parking.

Room and hotel was clean. Staff was courteous and Breakfast had a lot of choices. Especially the waffles were great. It was pretty quiet around the property and even had a Publix, Crispy Cream and couple of restaurants at walking distance. Had plenty of parking but it used to get full if you arrived to the hotel late (like after 10:30 or 11:00 PM).

Hotel was clean!! Staff were efficient in their room cleaning services. Items were replenished daily. Request were accepted politely “sure, no problem,” The pool, hot tub, gym were always kept clean. The digital check in and check out process were easy and convenient!!!!

Pris: The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast had sufficient variety and tested fresh. The gym is very well equipped and is spacious for a hotel of this size. Cons: The pool is too small for a swim.

This property was clean. The major issue with the property was the linens on the bed was dirty/filthy. I brought it to the front desk attention and they offered to change the room or give me clean linens to change it myself, because the house cleaning staff had left for the day.

Breakfast buffet area was clean. Libby is inviting.” Please have the cleaning crew pay more attention to the shower stall. There was a little mold.

For the quality of the room it was expensive. Room smelled like cigarettes. Door was hard to open at first. The walls are dirty a lot. This hotel was vey expensive and the room quality is not to great

Room was clean although carpet could use a shampoo. It doesn’t seem dirty until up I walk on it in white socks Appreciated the bottles of water, gym and adequate breakfast along with free parking. What was especially nice is the through wall heat/AC was quiet enough to sleep with!

The bathroom and bed linen was somewhat old

Only complaint is due to there being a fire station next to the hotel. Two of our three night stay was interrupted by fire trucks responding to calls. I know it is no fault of the hotel manager or their staff, but for the amount paid for the room, a good nights sleep is expected.

The staff was very friendly, and the room and lobby were clean. Breakfast was good, and I thought it was a step up from the typical Hampton Inn breakfast. The one downside to our stay was the TV did not have a channel guide. No physical paper and no digital guide on the TV itself, so we just had to scroll channels until we found something.

The hotel is centrally located to a plaza with a variety of food options. The parking lot is large, so I had no issue finding a parking spot when coming in late at night. Check-in was a breeze. I loved the fresh baked cookies that awaiting guests checking in. A little of my diet, but they had a fitness room, and I was able to burn those calories. The room was clean and spacious. The fan in the bathroom was pretty loud. It should definitely be updated to one that whispers. The beds were comfortable. The room contained the standard amenities of a microwave and fridge, which I loved. Breakfast was delicious and quite filling. The pool was clean, but I did not get a chance to enjoy it. The number of TV channels was acceptable. Check out was a breeze as well. I highly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again when in the area.

We had booked a 2 night stay between cruises and were able to check in a bit early. The room was ok…no cups or glasses in the bathroom, but found some ourselves in the breakfast area. We picked up takeout for supper and slept ok. After breakfast, we removed the do not disturb sign and went out around 11for the day. We returned around 5:30 to find that our room in the same condition as when we left. When I spoke to the attendant at the desk, he inquired whether I had asked for service. I told him, I wasn’t told that I needed to. His reply was that I hadn’t booked directly with Hampton Inn, and that is was the responsibility of Hotels.com to inform me and that the receptionist who checked didn’t have to tell me. I asked for garbage bags and was given a couple of ice bucket liner bags. There was no offer to have the room cleaned. The following morning before breakfast, I spoke with a different receptionist and mentioned the problem with the room and she apologized. Later, when I checked out, I assumed that my bill would be adjusted, but was told I would be paying the full amount. After asking her if this seemed fair and mentioning that I had been a long standing Hilton Honors member, she offered to take $20 off my bill (not even 10%) Eventually, I spoke with another individual who said they would check the housekeeping logs..my word against theirs! He later called me when I was at the airport to say one night would be refunded. This should have been done at the outset. COURTESY.

Room was nice and in good shape. Thermostat wasn’t working in room, but staff from front desk came up and fixed it (he was great btw. It was super busy and he was working by himself, but he was extremely nice and helpful). Good location, very friendly staff, very nice fitness area. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Staff were great. My husband left his jacket. They mailed it to him. The room was dusty and bathroom needed caulking.

The front desk guy David was very rude and disrespectful to me. I checked out one day before schedule. I will never stay there or will ever recommend anyone staying there.

Sonia checked us in and was excellent. She was efficient, knowledgeable & very friendly. She helped with dinner directions and gave us an overview of the hotel. I gave area 3 stars only because im not sure i would walk around at night. Hotel property was nice & clean.

Connie at front desk was unpleasant and did not seem comfortable with computer system. She could not find my Expedia reservation, then said someone already check in for me and then found a key ready to go. Did not ask for ID very unprofessional. I would not recommend this hotel.

Not being familiar with Ft Lauderdale, we took a chance with the location of this hotel. The area around it felt unsafe, cars racing and playing loud music. Sirens through the night, etc. Neat time we will do more research and not assume that because a hotel is a certain brand, it is in a good, safe location. Front desk staff was very nice.

The location was perfect, especially being so close to Chase Stadium, which made getting to a soccer event a breeze. There were also plenty of great restaurants nearby, offering a variety of dining options. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the convenience of the surrounding area made my stay even better. I would definitely stay here again

I had a pleasant stay, no issues. There were some beat up apartments across from the hotel that were an eye sore. On the other side is a plaza with Marshall's and Publix.

Hotel is in excellent condition, and staff is helpful and friendly. We would stay again. Just 2 things to note. First, there is a fire station across the street. Fortunately, there were no sirens overnight, but it is a possibility. Best to get a room with an even number, just in case. The odd number ones ( which we had) are the ones that face the fire station. Second, the breakfast is ok, but the selection is limited.

Loved the softness of the sheets and our comfy bed. We enjoyed watching the Super Bowl on our huge TV screen! We especially enjoyed our breakfast, specifically the waffles and omelettes. We just got back from a cruise and I thought the breakfast at the Hampton Inn was better tasting than on our cruise.

We love this hotel. The coffee out 24hours is a huge draw. Breakfast is always good and it's convenient and comfortable. The staff is wonderful. We stay here often.

The only things that needs improvement is having an available coin/ dollar/laundromat on property for guests and being more creative with hot breakfast options particularly eggs and meats. Some days, it was the same thing or what was being offerred didnt taste great.
