Great stopping place, good value, easy parking. Breakfast selection could be upgraded to provide an option for gluten free travelers, Hard boil eggs is always welcome.

There was no elevator, the stairs were steep and the hand railing was too low. The hotel smells of smoke.

Honestly, a great value and a pleasant stay. The only drawback was that Expedia says pet friendly and somehow I was supposed to know that there would be a $35 charge as well as a deposit. Bad to get surprised after a 12 hour drive on a non refundable room.

Family owned property that is simple and affordable. The interior has aged a bit and property is very simple, but you are paying Super 8 prices for a Super 8 hotel. (and downtown Tuscola is very cute)

The room was nice, clean, and affordable.

Stained carpet, bath mat stained, phone dirty, white bath towel stained with yellow, stain on bed sheet, bathroom light switches yuk, Not looking for top quality hotel, just a clean place to sleep. Mattress was comfortable.

The bathroom had hair all over it and what looked like blood on the wall. The bed had hair in it on the fitted sheet and the pillow. It was very obvious the sheets weren’t replaced. They didn’t even offer water at breakfast, just prepackaged food.

The room was filthy. Carpets had dirt on them, bed sheets had hair on them, bed skirts were stained, shower was filthy, the desk and night stand had something sticky on it, and there was a wall with vomit on it. They did come up and tried to clean the table and the wall, but it was still dirty. We requested a refund and were denied. Pictures were after they came up and cleaned the room and changed the sheets.

This property is desperate of renovation. Moldy smell, dirty room and carpet was stained, also the furnitures in the bedroom are tired. Dirty microwave, air conditioner was full of dust flying. Truly disgusting. Will never stay there again.

It was a little run down. Needs hotel pillows not flat boards. One bed had 2x4s sticking out that we kept hitting our legs on!!!

Basic place to stay, breakfast was a let down and the pealing paint in the bathroom is kinda lame, but it is clean.

The hotel itself is kept nice and the room was decent. The only issues was that the toilet needed cleaning, no USB charging ports so if you didn’t have a plug in USB you couldn’t charge your phone and the air conditioner was installed directly at the head of the bed so when it was operating it blew right on you and was very cold.

Perfect location right off the interstate. Facilities is well maintained and kept, clean throughout, with a modern touch. Room is large, bed comfortable with pretty comfortable pillows. To my surprise, very quite with the nearby interstate traffic. At check in, had to wait a few before being seen and heard. No matter, worth the price.

This is a budget hotel, and yea you expect something’s, when choosing budget. Breakfast was good . Basic Breakfast set up. But clean and had the normal Quick Start Breakfast. The Room was small but mostly clean. I did clean the floors in the bathroom because they needed to be deep cleaned. Keep your shoes on. But the shower was the worst. Drop ceiling tiles, and the shower head was cut out and extended into the ceiling tile. Leaving open cut out right above your head while showering. But also, could not reach or adjust the shower head because of it. At the end of the day you get what you pay for. If you need a cool place to sleep, it works just fine. If you don’t like those issues and can not roll with the punches, this isn’t the hotel for you.

Rooms are small, thin blanket on bed and just not very comfortable, vending machines have a very small selection with no zero sugar options and also only take cash most people don't carry cash anymore. TVs are small&outdated and hard to see. Wifi signal was weak.. Also nowhere do they have breakfast hours posted and the breakfast area is too small and crowded. Only thing I was impressed by was the AC unit it cools very well! But I will not be staying at a super 8 again.

Breakfast was a little lacking and the tvs in the room was a little small. The rooms were cleaned. Staff was friendly. I did almost hurt myself when unplugging a charger and didn’t know the outlet was not in the wall. Plug in came right out! But satisfied otherwise and convenient

Despite advertising wifi, it is non functional. Desk clerk said it has been that way and they are waiting on an upgrade to their system so no telling when it will be back online. I had to leave the hotel tobgain access and do my job. Unfortunately unable to cancel and get refund.

Gave me an occupied room. Then a flithy room. Then a room that was reserved by another guest. Stated they wasn’t checked in yet so it’ll be ok. Didn’t feel comfortable so we checked out after about 2hrs

Service was amazing! Staff was extremely friendly.

Window didn't lock. Door deadbolt didn't lock. Stayed 2 nights, the room wasn't cleaned after 1st night. When my husband questioned why the room wasn't cleaned he was told they were short staffed. No one told us that the room wouldn't be cleaned. No discount was given. Over priced at the $118 we paid. Would not stay there again. Wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there at that price.

Excellent service and professional

Checked in at 5am knowing the checkout time was 11 am. Housekeeping was knocking on the door hours before checkout time. The phone was also ringing before checkout. We were on our way back to Georgia from Iowa. We needed all the sleep we could get. I got up at 10 am to shower and there was no hot water at all. It was an awful experience. I will not be staying here next month when I travel back through.

I was very happy with my stay here. The only reason I gave it a good rating instead of great is because the $50 charge for incidentals has not been refunded yet. I stayed there 6 days ago. I called 2 days ago, and they said it takes up to 3 business days. It still has not been refunded.

Find somewhere else - DO NOT stay here. I believe that there is a family that stays the hotel and rents out the rooms. Which is totally fine, but upkeep the place. Front desk person- Sam -told me that Expedia never called, then changed his mind and said they had. Then he told me that Expedia would be the ones that have to pay me back. I had to go back and forth with Sam and Expedia because of conflicting information. First room: food on walls, smells of rotting food (located behind desk), mini fridge broken, carpets stained food pieces on flood in multiple areas of room. When we reported the state of the first room the front desk person came to a room the was next to ours to retrieve a person to check on the broken mini fridge. Second room: Stains on "white" bathroom towels, 2 towels left for 3 people. Mold all around the edges of tube and walls, shower head not adjustable (only shoots high to the back, floor baseboards in bathroom and entrance have small pieces of hair (like after shaving beard), window doesn't open, hair in microwave, carpets stained and have physical debris on it, no bed comforter, stains on 'white' sheets. Room smells like men's cologne

Overall good stay. Room was clean and air conditioner worked well. Within walking distance of eateries. There was a surprise $50.00 deposit that had to be paid upon check in, it was returned to the account at checkout. Other than that it was a good stay.

Everything was great…except for the breakfast. Slim pickins and the coffee was weak and cold. McDonalds across the parking lot saved the day there. Bedides thst, good stay.

front desk friendly. my room was right next to front desk so thank God I bring earplugs. Room clean - although typical signs of wear and tear for hotel. Safe. Arrived in last hour offering of complimentary breakfast. Absolutely nothing available. Not even coffee. There’s a diner down the street. Go there.

The people were nice. It's clean, the breakfast was ok have to microwave your eggs.

Our room appeared to be recently painted, and common areas looked clean. Our biggest disappointment was the breakfast - frozen waffles and pancakes to put in toaster, cold cereal, instant oatmeat, yogurt. No fresh fruit.

Breakfast selection was terrible. Hope you’re in the mood for Frosted Flakes or frozen waffles that’s all you’ll be getting
