Holiday Inn Express Toledo-Oregon by IHG

Everything is good but the hotel is in renovation so we cannot use the fitness room.

We booked this place because it had a pool and it is not open!

Would have been great, however be aware this hotel is under renovation and the hot tub and fitness center are out of service...had I known this information I would have booked elsewhere. The staff is absolutely amazing.

Staff was great. Parking lot / entrance has crater sized pot holes.

Very clean hotel with great staff. Pool was ice cold and pool towels were sparse thin and smaller than bath towel. Hot tub not working. I booked hotel because of hot tub. Post on website that it’s drained and nonfunctional

Undergoing renovations, gym closed, small anyway. Room was okay, but what is the point of a little couch facing a bar wall? Found that to be funny. It was clean but definitely felt it was too expensive for the amenities offered.

The interior has been recently renovated and looked nice. The tv in the room was small and limited channels. The internet would cut out every so often. Other than those issues, we enjoyed the room. The parking lot is in terrible condition with large potholes. Once that has been corrected, it will be a good value with an awesome Mexican restaurant next to the hotel that is just steps away.

It was very nice but came to relax in hot tub but was told it was down and not going to be fixed. Needs to be taken off amenities list.

The hotel had new carpet and looked like it just went through a renovation, but it was not finished yet. The room was nice and had a fresh smell, but the toilet was dirty. Also, the light switch by the door controlled all the power to the whole room, which made no sense to me. When we return that switch off all the lights would turn off and the TV and all the plugs where we would charge our devices. So when we woke up in the morning, nothing was charged. I thought that was the most horrible design. What upset me the most though was I came here for the amenities. The pool was cloudy and dirty. The pool deck was dirty. I even saw somebody’s fake eyelashes laying on the ground. The hot tub was closed for renovation and that was never posted anywhere to tell us as well as the fitness center, which made me extremely upset Because I had chose this facility based on having a nice pool, hot tub and fitness center.

The biggest drawbacks to our stay was the lack of ice (no machines due to reno) and the hotel running out of ice when you asked for some (holiday weekend). Also the breakfast was very disappointing - almost nothing was available when we went to breakfast - not even bread/bagel/muffin. There was two types of cereal. Pancake machine out of batter. The kitchen staff was working to replace, but was very slow. Didn't now where napkins were, said they were out when they weren't. Did eventually get food, which was slightly below normal level for this type of hotel. I feel they were not prepared for holiday travel, and it really showed. Overall disappointed for this level of hotel, but hope that things will improve for them when reno complete.

The bathroom had a lot of hair on the floor and corners were dirty

There was something on the nightstand that was disgusting. The controls for the AC were missing and I could not turn on the fan. I did not get the 7 AM wake up call I requested. Fortunately, I awoke on my own and was not late for my meeting in Detroit. I won't be back.

Very clean great shower

Cleanliness was good in the room, however the hallway carpet had lots of stains. Front desk late night is hard to wake up when trying to check in late or early. Breakfast was good. Over all I was happy with my stay.

The floors were absolutely filthy throughout the public areas. I can't imagine people tracking mud clods and grass everywhere. It was even worse the next morning. Our room was clean and comfortable but in need of some maintenance. Good breakfast selection.

Clean facility. Everything seemed very new and updated.

WE HAD THE KING ROOM WITHA HOT TUB. THE MIRRORS WERE DIRTY. THE HOT TUB HAD HAIR IN IT. THE ROOM SMELLED MOLDY. THE SHOWER CURTAIN HAD STAINS ON IT.

The air conditioning didn't work

There’s literally a pizza restaurant and a liquor store in the driveway. The wheelchair accessible room was so big and easily maneuverable for Wheelchair with him nicely updated accessible bathroom..

The room was clean with general accommodations.

There was music heard from outside and loud noise from next door rooms was terrible. Other ghan that the hotel and staff was excellent.

So many things were just not up to what I felt they should be for the price I paid for the room. First the elevator had plywood showing and a paper in it that said see front desk for elevator certificate and then the room had holes in the wall , the door had gaps and definitely not up to code, very small tv with no cable. Just not what I expected for the price I paid

Pretty clean, convenient for a one night stay. However, AC was loud.

Hotel was clean and well maintained. Check in process was quick. Close to Walmart, Kroger and several places to eat. Only complaint was the frequent noise from the hallway.

The staff was very friendly

Didn't clean the room even though we asked them every day. The manager said they were short staffed. When they brought up clean towels, our keys no longer worked.

Staff very rude at front desk! Given a room that was not ready and would not change!

Everything was great until I had to check out and I informed the associate I was checking out. She gave me attitude and she gave off the impression that I interrupted what she was going. Mind you I checked out @ 5am and she was very very rude.

Staff were kind and helpful , they made us feel at home. better than home.

The front desk staff person was super nice.

The drive into the parking lot is horrible,. Constrution all over the place with items laying all over. Power went out in the night and took hours to come on and when asked to the front desk no one could be found. Woke up for breakfast and no coffee and the workers ignored you when asking about it

I booked the room thru hotels.com. We were there for a soccer tournament. I found out based on the schedule I only needed 1 night, not 2. I was within the timeframe to switch rooms, but when I tried to cancel the one night I was only being offered 1 King instead of the 2 queens I booked. This didn’t make sense because I was eliminating a night and already had 2 queens. I reached out to hotels.com and they said they took care of it with the hotel and I was only being booked for the 1 night. I asked if this affected my rate and they said I was all set. Upon arrival the rate was $31 more than the original booking rate. I reached out to hotels.com and they said to talk to Holiday Inn. There was no manager on duty during my stay, but I called and left a message for Mike Clark (GM) and never got a phone call back or my issue resolved from either party. I have screenshots of my booking change and no where did they tell me the rate would change from $114/night to $145. Also, there was what looked like blood on the carpet and the ceiling had cracks/bubbles. The front desk was not helpful at all. Breakfast was good and the cleaning ladies were friendly, but that is the only good thing I have to say. It was a frustrating trip to say the least and I will not be back and don’t plan to use hotels.com either.

The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel was located near the nature preserves for birding, as well as restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

No overhead lighting in the room making it difficult to read at night. Parking lot needs refinishing. This hotel shares a parking lot with several other businesses and is off the road. Why it was built back off the road is odd.

Stayed here during the Biggest Week in American Birding. Room was nice & clean, & the beds were comfortable. Near all the birding areas in northwest Ohio. Only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 was because when someone is showering in another room above mine, the pipes in my bathroom make a knocking sound, which woke me up. Also, they no longer offer a birder's rate. Like everything else in the U.S., the prices here have gone up, but it's the same thing at all the other hotels as well.

This property has a Sushi restaurant, a Mexican Restaurant, and a carryout all in the same parking area. No need to drive there, just simply walk! It's amazing! The room was spacious, I had a King Bed Suite. Very clean. Bathroom super clean. Only thing I would suggest is switching to Smart TVs and putting a dark roast k pod option in the room! Breakfast was yummy, but the apple juice was a weird super sweet but also tarty flavor.

The Holiday Inn Express building is sorta hidden behind some buildings or shops. The Sign was not visible when I was driving and looking for it. The sign was small with other signs. The access to the hotel is not well pavement and not welcoming. Parking lot is not enough for all who stay at the hotel. I had to park next to the wine, beer and spirit shop, ha!

Check in and out were easy. Staff very friendly. Great breakfast selection. The beds were incredibly comfortable!! Thanks for a great stay!

Room was great! Breakfast—food and cleanliness outstanding!!! Staff all very friendly and highly professional. BUT the downstairs Men’s Room was a filthy disaster—for two straight days. Everything rlse was great!

The hotel was very clean. Comfortable beds. The only negative was that the power went out during the night. The hallway and staircase was dark. No breakfast.

Only complaints are they kept running out of towels for the pool and the pancake machine wasnt working and kids where disappointed
