Breakfast was good. The pool was cloudy and the sides were grimy. The tub jets were on their last legs. The room was too small for two queen beds. But it was a good value for a short stay.

The pool and hot tub were closed! I was very disappointed! I was looking forward to swimming and soaking in the hot tub. I was never notified the pool and hot tub were not in service ahead of time. I really would have stayed elsewhere if I had known!

Came from out of town and the only thing we wanted at the hotel was a pool, which this one was supposed to have. Checked in, got things settled in our room then headed down to the pool area, of course its being worked on and doesnt even have water in it.

Check in staff was friendly, quick. Location was convenient, outside of the busy Dells area but with plenty of restaurant options and a nice downtown area. Overall a clean and safe place with an immaculate pool and hot tub.

I have stayed here many times and has always been VG. This time not so much. The elevator was broken and of course my room was on the 3rd floor. I have medical issues and fought the stairs.When I room returned yesteday evening my room keys didn't work because the woman who checked me in only coded the keys for one night not two. I went down to the desk but no one there. Sign said to call a number. I called it 6 times and let it ring through 6 times until it disconnected me. A woman showed up like 10-15 minutes time to get me new keys. Then it was another struggle with the stairs. I go to Baraboo several times a year on business. I may look for another place to stay next trip

Room was dirty. Stains on sheets. Floor was dirty. Room and hallways smelt like smoke. We ended up checking out and staying at a different hotel. Hotels.com only gave us 70% of our stay back. Very disappointing!

The bathroom has mold coming through the drywall, the bathrooms haven’t been updated since it was opened. The free breakfast is pretty bad as well. The pool and hot tub were nice. However, the pool area needs a clock and someone to spray defoamer in the hot tub on some days. Front desk was super nice. Rooms were ok besides mold and bathrooms.

The shower wasn’t clean. They tidied the room but didn’t give fresh towels or clean anything. There was also a roach I had to kill in my room. Otherwise the stay was as expected and the staff is friendly

The parking lot was full of snow and ice while all other parking lots around were fully cleared. There was no one ever at the front desk. The breakfast items were dried out. There was mouse poop in our bathroom the next morning.

This was a really good hotel....except when we got back to our room after hiking all day, we found a cup on the sink filled with ants; and they were abundant in the sink itself. When I delivered a cup of ants in a bag to the desk they were 'concerned" but not "that" concerned. I was told I would hear from the manager and he would "probably take care of us"...no contact yet

The room and bathroom smelt terrible. Likely black mold or mildew. Tried changing rooms but none of them smelt great. Contemplated checking out after the 1st night but I couldn’t get a refund so we stayed. The smell was so bad it made the whole stay feel gross.

Main issue was the bed was like sleeping on a rock formation with a dip in the middle and the pillows offer no support, they were like using air. The matresses need to be replaced and the pillows need to be larger and firmer.

We really only slept at the hotel and didn't use any amenities or eat breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. The check-in process was smooth. The property was a little dated. The bathroom and shower needed a bit of repair work. Overall, I would stay here again.

Was only there for 1 night but the room was large, with an extra chair and a desk. The bathroom was also good, although finding the button to flush the toilet was a bit of a hunt (on top of the tank - beneath the extra toilet paper roll). The breakfast was far more than I would expect for the price of the room. Overall, a better space and experience than the price might suggest.

The breakfast was very good however our tv didn’t work very well. It kept freezing up so it was hard to watch a movie or another channel that we wanted to. The new remotes do not let you view a guide either or have an info button so it was difficult to watch anything. The hot tub was nice and hot, the pool/hot tub area were nice and clean.

The hotel was nice and my daughter and I liked how the hallway looked. The room was okay. There wasn't enough lighting in the room. Also there were some cracks in the bathroom. But, I would have to say the beds were VERY uncomfortable. TOO soft. I was having a hard time finding a place to sit and lay down. My daughter had a hard time sleeping. She ended up having back issues. The pillows were too soft. Also, my daughter and I smelled burnt toast in the stairway leading outside to the parking next to Bonxos. It wasn't a pleasant smell. Also, the staff never mentioned you can use your key card to open the smaller door.

The room is showing ware and tear. Table top light fixtures need repairs or replacement, lampshades are showing age too. Sink light has different watt bulbs in it. Drawer on one nightstand had been rebuilt and now it does close properly, table top/desk appears to have had nail polish spilled on it and ruined the finish, towel bar and shelf in bathroom need repairs or replacement. TV cabinet is showing wear as well.

Upon arrival, the room looked clean and orderly. Turned on the TV and it wasn't set up so we couldn't get any channels. Went to front desk and spoke with Tammy. She tried to rectify situation, even brought in a different TV but that couldn't connect to the internet. When i checked out, guy behind the desk said "So sorry"..... really?

Hot tub was small, not very hot and slow to full. Staff couldn’t and wouldn’t commit to one early entry on a Saturday ….at one in the afternoon to help me with wedding reception preparation plans while traveling. Just not the standard we expected from this brand name hotel.

The staff were very kind and professional. I asked to switch my room assignment at check'in and they made it happen super easily. Very clean, nice amenities and free breakfast with scrambled eggs , sausage, waffles, etc. Great location next to hiking trails nearby in Mirror Lake and Devils Lake State Parks. People all over town were nice. Quaint downtown with great bookstore and a Wednesday morning farmers market. Found a great Japanese restaurant too. Recommend this place.

The clerk at the desk was most awesome! She was helpful, got us checked in early so we could drop our luggage and spend the rest of the day around the Dells! She also suggested the new restaurant across the street for supper which was delicious! We enjoyed and slept well!!

The staff at this property was exceptional. I had several issues with my reservation through Expedia and the front desk staff was very helpful in sorting everything out. Also had brief interactions with some of the housekeeping staff, they were friendly and from all appearances do an excellent job in maintaining a clean and well kept hotel.

Booked the stay on Expedia. Front desk acknowledged Expedia booking. Next day turned in keys and asked for receipt showing zero balance. Clerk said nothing owed, get a receipt from Expedia. Checked my credit card later and discovered they knowingly double-billed me! Called the front desk and asked for a refund from Best Western and got the run-around, twice. Same thing happened at another Best Western in OH. Won't use Best Western again. Watch Out!

The staff was wonderful, very friendly and eager to make us comfortable. Breakfast was very good and lots of choices. They have breakfast in a separate sunroom instead of in the lobby, other chains should do the same. The pool was huge and the hot tub was actually hot, which we were very grateful for. The room was very large and well appointed. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, but wasn’t mushy either. I recommend this hotel. Very good value for the money!

The breakfast was just what I would expect from a continental breakfast. Plenty of options. The only issue I had was with the WiFi. I’m not sure if it was because we were so far from the router or what but it wasn’t anything that would make me not stay here again. The staff were all so friendly. Will definitely stay here again and will recommend this hotel to others.

The elevator failed; I was in it. They had experienced elevator failure, and put it back in service without professional service. Unacceptable. The hot breakfast was lousy. The scrambled eggs was moist and the sausage were not browned at all, just warmed in water.
