The pool as great. While a little dated , unkept very well and staff very friendly

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Pictures on the hotels.com website show a hot-tub which has been removed; so, if you are looking for that you are out of luck (note the amenities do not list hot-tub, just the picture). Hotel is fairly close to Shenandoah NP.

Treadmills were not working properly in the gym. Hot tub in photo was no longer in service.

Elevator broken

Three things wrong with the hotel number one no elevator working. Has been out for one month. Number two the bed was very uncomfortable. Number three the air conditioner when it kicked in sounded like a bulldozer coming through the wall. Hard sleeping. There was no warning when I booked the hotel that the elevator was not working.

Good free breakfast every morning. Swimming pool was nice and clean and not crowded. Close to the Fairgrounds where we were attending a trade show.

The property was clean and quiet. Our room was comfortable. When we arrived we were scheduled to be on the 2d floor but the desk clerk informed us that their elevator needed repairs and wanted to know if we were ok with the stairs. We told her we were not and she quickly gave us a 1st floor room. Breakfast decent. One thing that they should consider is changing the desk lamp and night stand lamps to lamps that have USB and elecrical outlets in the base.

Pool could've cleaner but everything was excellent

Life saver after running away from nightmare roach infested resort. The staff was so kind and breakfast included is always a plus. Perfect room options for family with young kids. The kids enjoyed indoor pool and loved the late check out option!

In the 1st room I was checking into, the main door had a massive amount gap. Anyone from the hallway can easily see and hear what someone is doing inside the living room. Not sure why the hotel staff would assign me the damaged room knowing the room is not a good standard. When I went to the front desk to inform them about it they were acting like this was new for them. Then I asked to assign a second room. The room was ok. Bed sheets were dirty and had stains all over them. Not saying they were not washed but why would you give your guest stained bed sheets? Also felt bathroom were not clean either. They do not have in house housekeeping services. The only good thing about the hotel was that they have a nice indoor swimming pool.

Hotel was very clean. Employees were nice. Breakfast had a variety of options.

Overall, nice hotel. We were disgusted to find a chunk of poop on the handheld showerhead. After alerting the front desk, they offered to move us to another room, but we had 2 rooms next to each other due to our large family, so we just used the shower in the other room since we already had some kids asleep. Breakfast was great for the family.

The room was exceptionally clean and appeared to be recently renovated. Very quiet and convenient location close to Rt 81. Comfortable bed. Highly recommend.

We got the worst bedbugs of our lives, all over his back and legs even on his face, a refund would be nice

The ice bucket had not been cleaned. It had a plastic bag with water in it. There was a toothpaste cap on the bathroom floor. The AC cooled but the room was very humid and I unable to adjust it. Overall, it was a disappointment.

This property was nicer about 8 yrs ago, haven’t been in awhile but it seems frozen in time. Smells musty, showers and bathrooms incredibly dated and stained. Sink drained poorly. Noisy ac unit and tv was very small for the size of the room. Mini-fridge was wet inside perhaps defrosting. Def won’t be returning.

Nice hotel. Only stayed two nights, traffic noise was loud, walls seemed paper thin. Otherwise, nice and clean!

Air did not work in our room it was 79 in there

The soundproofing system is quite poor, and people walking upstairs can be heard.

Commons areas are clean and attractive. Our room was comfortable, spacious (1 king) and attractive. The only thing we wish had been better was the selection of tv channels and perhaps having options for streaming.

While everything was clean and neat, our room had a lot of damage to the furniture. The drawers when closed would slide back open and had damage inside the drawer. The windows were missing locks and one wouldn't fully shut due to missing hardware. Everything else about the stay was perfect, the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and they were actively restocking it throughout the morning

Located next to Truck stop and interstate exit so loud traffic all night long. Single king Room was adequate but mattress was bad on one side. Bathroom was small, no fan working and had stand up tiled shower. Decent breakfast and parking.

The tv was small and the furniture was old. The bed and pillows were good.

The property felt more budget than other Country Inns we've stayed at, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. AC unit was noisy. Front desk was friendly

Internet was unreliable to the point of being unusable.

Everything was fine but my mother tried to get some water in the place where breakfast is served maybe 5 minutes before it was open and was yelled at by the staff.

We had a grundig portable radio stolen from the room second day of our stay. Front desk staff seemed less than interested. No forms were offered for claim and no return call re: "investigation" of incident.....quite irritated !!!

Upon arrival, could not get checked in because their internet is terrible and not stable. After running my card 4 times, finally it went through, although they didn’t share this information. We were given a 1st room floor at the end of hallway near air conditioner, Room 102, which had been leaking into the hall for who knows how long. After slipping twice and reporting to the front desk, their solution was to leave it running, and put a wet floor sign up along with a noisy fan right outside my door. Our door, which had appeared to been kicked in or damaged at some point, had a large gap you could see into the hallway easily, which was unsafe and allow the awful smell from the fan come right into our room. On second night, had to finally go back to front desk and demand they turn it off so we could sleep, since the sound and smell was pouring into our room. There was not a manager available, and could tell the front desk workers were new and inexperienced in handling issues. Was never offered a different room, or anything for our horrible stay. The water from the A/C soaked one of our bags w inside the room, and was a horrible experience overall.

Staff was friendly at check in. The hotel as a whole was acceptable. But the building doesn’t have enough sound proofing. We were on the first floor and had to listen to a conversation happening outside our window. The room above us sounded like they were having a wrestling match. There was a lot of running around and jumping. It also sounded like they were throwing things around. When we called the front desk at 2 AM after listening to them for 4 hours, they said that they were having trouble with them and had called the police. But the hotel never offered any discount or apology.

Room and hotel was exceptionally clean and well stocked. Front desk person warm and inviting. Full Breakfast was a plus I wasn’t expecting, a delightful stay.

The room was clean and reasonable for the price. We arrived early so we were a little surprised that there was a $20 charge for early arrival even when the room was ready.

The property is close to the highway JMU and to Buc-ee’s!!!!!it’s clean and roomy at a good price.

We were in the area for an overnight and the hotel was conveniently located. It was clean yes but if you want a quiet night sleep do not stay here. It is directly of Route 81 and a truck stop. So very noisy outside and the walls are paper thin and being on any floor but the 3rd it sounds like tap dancing from above. Lastly the thermometer was in C not F and it did not work. Very hot abd stuffy.

Nice, clean stop for visit to SNP for the price. No breakfast one morning; the hostess was beyond busy and could not keep up, so we went out. Woman who checked us in was very nice. Didn't see anyone at the desk after that.

Very poorly maintained property. The breakfast was 6.30-9.30 and the food was over at 8.25 am. Lot of fuss and drama and I had to get breakfast from Dunkin. The staff at the breakfast didn’t even inform the food wa sober and kept saving 2 minutes. 19 families had to go to Dunkin.

The people were very friendly. Breakfast great, with eggs, sausage, cereal, french toast, waffles, something for very one. The room was spacious. We ask for disability room, and was pleased.

Staff super nice, but breakfast was awful--just gross, undercooked gelatinous egg-like substance, still frozen potatoes, bruised and battered fruit (awful, just awful)--and the workout room had no weights and no room to do a workout (just treadmills). Won't be back.
