This place is so beautiful! All staff here are amazing! Pools are heated and there are so many options. We stayed in an ocean front deluxe king room and the view was gorgeous! Special thanks to Margarita (she is THE CUTEST SWEETEST ANGEL working as a host in the La Plaza buffet /El Molina. She has a positive energy and happy smile everyday. Dozo was the best restaurant, thank you to Chef Daniel Hernandez, Carlos and Antonio for delicious food, great service and ambiance . Excellent Maky. The Italian restaurant is nice, service is excellent but the gluten free pizza is not good. It’s lentil /garbanzo bean flour and it doesn’t cook all the way, so it’s still raw and gooey and has a consistency similar to fibrous glue. A better gluten-free crust would be the rice flour or even cauliflower. Otherwise, the food there is excellent. El Molino has the best herbal guacamole and excellent staff, we loved it. Live band was great and entertainment was fun. The new gym is beautiful and clean with all new equipment and classes. The renovations look amazing and everybody working here are just hardest working employees we have ever seen in our lives. Hospitality is five stars! They are all so kind and friendly. Definitely worth an upgrade to the newly renovated rooms if you can do it! Special shoutout to Jesus at VIP check in, for accommodating our request.

The room was clean but outdated. There was a strong smell of like old wet clothes.they put us in the old building. We came to see the wedding areas and couldn’t because there were blocked off. The adult pools closed early. The food was ok(the best was the tacos(close @4)and the breakfast was good. Staff great ok except for the Mexican restaurant-they were kind of rude. The front desk staff told me they would decorate my room for my birthday (as this was my birthday trip) they never came to do so. The pools are nice and warm

not enough covered seats available by the pool unless we go try to save one very early in the morning. there were too many reserved seats that resort wanted us to pay extra for. I am pregnant and can't be in sun too long and when I shared my concern at the guest services they basically did nothing about it.

One of the best all inclusive resorts I’ve stayed at. The service was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. Everything was top notch. They checked us in early. Food was good and the staff took incredible care of us at all times. We never had to look for someone to bring us anything! They were always two steps ahead of us. The spa was also incredibly beautiful.The only one complaint I have is that it’s not on the swimmable beach. 10/10!

We booked though Expedia as a silver member and did not receive the benefits it included. The property was under construction. We called a month ahead of time to make sure there wasn’t construction and I was told it was done. When we got to our room the two suites next to us were under full renovation and LOUD. Elevators were out of order, many supplies missing from our room including coffee cups. Our butler was great but the resort itself felt dated and not like a 5 star. We felt like we paid more than the value and should have stayed elsewhere. I would not come here again. It felt basic.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Ziva. The property is beautiful. The rooms may be a bit dated but clean and well kept. There is a massive main pool, as well as a large adults only pool. The gym is the best facility I’ve seen at any hotel. It’s huge, with plenty and varied equipment. They even offer different classes throughout the day. The staff was amazing. Super attentive and friendly, excellent service everywhere we went. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from that allow for a variety of cuisine. Sadly we weren’t able to try them all but the ones we did were excellent. They offer plenty of activities for all ages so there is always something to do. There are some stores/restaurants a short walk from the hotel but the city centre is also a short 10min cab ride away. It is not adults only, which is a first for us but they do offer adult only activities/areas. Overall, I would recommend for a well rounded stay especially if traveling with multiple age groups.

On the kids club- don’t limit the time and age group. My son was 23 months and I wasn’t able to stay in the kids club with him for the time they were closed for drop-off hours. The only time the allow kids to play is from 9am-10am and 4pm-5pm. Please try and be more flexible to parents to let their kid play supervised with parents if the staff cannot watch children below the age of 4yrs old. Rooms - The room cleaning wasn’t great. The first day they missed our room cleaning. Food - The desserts, donuts and cafe foods seem stale. Wish they were more fresh and soft.

We loved everything about our stay! The service was top notch everywhere! The rooms were very clean. The staff is probably the friendliest and most helpful of any resort I’ve ever stayed at - and I’ve stayed at a lot! Food was fantastic! We have not one complaint and definitely plan to return 😊

This was a very bad experience for me and my colleagues honestly. The people come to that place to drink all the day, There was a « cucaracha » in the bedroom, which de facto smell awful, humide All the clothes stocked in my luggage’s were contaminated by that’s terrible smell

My ac in my room was broken. They tried fixing it several times but kept going out. The buffet was not edible. There was flies on everything. Nothing was properly covered. There were also birds in the Resturant and no one tried to remove them or cover the flood to make safe. When I brought this up they told me a neighboring resort dumped their trash near their property. I switched resorts from a health perspective.

Our room had a old smell like mold and the sliding door was broken on arrival and we attempted to use the ceiling fan and a bunch of dust flew off, we could see the dust build up.

The rooms are outdated. There are updated rooms which are not shown as an option when you book - they should be shown. (Our shower backed up every day). The TV signal was terrible. Making it frustrating to watch a move at night. In and out - constantly showing "no/poor signal". This is disappointing if you want to go to "Italian" as an example and find it closed on a "Saturday night"? We had a fabulous time at Hyatt Ziva!. Our butler Catalina was very kind and accommodating. The pools were large, beautiful and very clean. The many different restaurants and bar selections were awesome. Finally we upgraded our room upon arrival and it was extremely spacious and the ocean view was beautiful. I would highly recommend this resort!

Great all-inclusive property. Several amenities and activity options to choose choose from. I didn't have time to try all dining options but everything I did try was good. Also the staff was always very attentive. Only 2 things to complain about. In the jacuzzi tub in my room, the drain stopper did not seal well, therefor the tub didn't hold water very well. Also, Wi-fi was not very good. But all-in-all, I will stay here again.

The upgraded 1bdrm suite did not come with an upgraded premium mini bar as stated. The bar wasn’t even stocked with drinks or snacks after they “made sure it was clean and ready”. It was less than standard of other hotels and not fully stocked at all. No liquor only a few beers, few soda cans, 2 juices and 1-2 waters. Also, Shower did not drain. And we were in the brand new remodeled building Most of the staff was great but we were a little disappointed with the problems we had with the room since we spent an additional $1000 upgrading the room for a weekend stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Ziva. The property is beautiful. The rooms may be a bit dated but clean and well kept. There is a massive main pool, as well as a large adults only pool. The gym is the best facility I’ve seen at any hotel. It’s huge, with plenty and varied equipment. They even offer different classes throughout the day. The staff was amazing. Super attentive and friendly, excellent service everywhere we went. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from that allow for a variety of cuisine. Sadly we weren’t able to try them all but the ones we did were excellent. They offer plenty of activities for all ages so there is always something to do. There are some stores/restaurants a short walk from the hotel but the city centre is also a short 10min cab ride away. It is not adults only, which is a first for us but they do offer adult only activities/areas. Overall, I would recommend for a well rounded stay especially if traveling with multiple age groups.

The Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay. Our room was lovely, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was fresh and delicious. The pools were very nice. The entertainment team was a lot of fun. We plan to come back with our children and grandchildren!

The room felt very outdated. As shown in the photos, the bathroom door couldn’t even close properly, and the entire room had a noticeable smell. It clearly needs major updates and better maintenance. The resort has several swimming pools, including a kids’ zone, which is nice, but the food quality was disappointing across the board. I arrived one day later than planned due to an airline delay. Before arrival, I called the hotel to explain the situation and was told my reservation would be noted. However, when I checked in, I was informed I had to pay for an additional night — effectively charging me for a night I did not stay, on top of the original missed night-so i paid 2 extra night that i wasnt there. The staff was the star of the show. Edgar with guest services made sure our family was taken cared of from day 1! Everyone was warm, welcoming, and truly went above and beyond to make our family experience great. A special thank you to Edgar again, his customer service was exceptional. AMAZING! This experience exceeded our expectations. We were greeted at the gate by security who then let our airport driver in to drop us right at the front door. We were then taken to the concierge desk where they checked us in and explained several amenities they had. We met Gustavo, our personal concierge, who then gave us a tour and took us to the buffet restaurant for a late lunch. While our room was being finished, we ate and then talked with the travel/excursion concierge who helped us plan our days. Then when our room was ready Gustavo texted us, met us at the travel desk and then took us to our room. And that was just the first hour. The rest of the trip was just like that. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Just absolutely would recommend this resort to everyone! Every bit of food we had was also amazing!! We were there 4 days and didn’t have time to try all the options. But the ones we did have were delicious.

At the pool we had the best service with Misael, Jesus, and Genaro. At the buffet we had Margarita and Francisco and they were also so amazing! The food is amazing. You cannot wrong anywhere you eat there. All the food is great. We will be back and recommend friends and family! We miss you all already! Thanks again!

We booked though Expedia as a silver member and did not receive the benefits it included. The property was under construction. We called a month ahead of time to make sure there wasn’t construction and I was told it was done. When we got to our room the two suites next to us were under full renovation and LOUD. Elevators were out of order, many supplies missing from our room including coffee cups. Our butler was great but the resort itself felt dated and not like a 5 star. We felt like we paid more than the value and should have stayed elsewhere. I would not come here again. It felt basic.

We loved everything about our stay! The service was top notch everywhere! The rooms were very clean. The staff is probably the friendliest and most helpful of any resort I’ve ever stayed at - and I’ve stayed at a lot! Food was fantastic! We have not one complaint and definitely plan to return 😊

The staff cleaned our rooms daily which was amazing. You also have an option to opt out if you place the do not disturb sign on your door. The staff were kind and welcoming. So many different varieties of food at the resort which was great, however, I feel like the quality of food could’ve been more authentic. All inclusive is definitely worth it. Pools are kept clean and staff is very attentive. You’re able to reserve bon fire pits by the beach. The sunsets were so beautiful. The resort is absolutely stunning. They offer a tour liaison for activities in Los Cabo’s at the actual resort by the main lobby, which is very helpful if you’re interested in the local tours. Transportation lacks options for example they do not offer free shuttle service from airport to hotel. The transportation we inquired about was about $200 which included round trip for airport transportation. We had to Uber everywhere, they would have to pick us up outside the resort due to hotel policy. Downtown, Cabo San Lucas is located 30min away. So be prepared to spend some money on Uber transportation. I highly recommend you rent a vehicle if you want to get out of the resort to visit known tourist areas. Overall experience was a 8/10. I would recommend this resort to family and friends. I plan to visit next fall.

The Hyatt Viva Los Cabos is a beautiful property, but my experience was disappointing and fell short of the “premium” stay I paid for. The first impression upon arrival was a strong sewage smell at the hotel entrance, which lingered every time we walked in or out. We booked the Oceanfront Premium Deluxe King Suite with premium check-in. While check-in was smooth, key promises were not honored: no complimentary wine/champagne in the room, and no birthday setup for my husband despite requesting it (we saw other rooms decorated, which made it even more disheartening). The minibar was also extremely limited (just four beers). Room service was unreasonably slow—our first night we canceled and went to eat ourselves. Food overall was fine, with buffet fruit being the highlight, but the Mediterranean restaurant was lackluster. The spa was the best part thanks to Miriam, who was wonderful, and the hydrotherapy area, though the couples massage was average. Transportation was another major frustration—Ubers are not allowed inside, so we were dropped at the gate and forced to walk in, often dressed up in heels, right past the sewage smell. While the property is clean and staff were respectful, the repeated inconveniences and missed promises (birthday setup, wine, room service delays, transportation issues) made this stay far from the premium experience advertised. I strongly feel credit or compensation is warranted.

The property is beautiful and in excellent shape. Customer service is outstanding from every staff member at the hotel. It's a very family oriented hotel and is pretty quiet and calm. There are several restaurants, snack bars, and cafes that offer a variety of dining options that are very good quality. The area where the hotel is located is in the hotel beach zone that is very safe and walkable. Not that you'd need it but there are a couple of grocery superstores nearby for any necessary items.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Ziva. The property is beautiful. The rooms may be a bit dated but clean and well kept. There is a massive main pool, as well as a large adults only pool. The gym is the best facility I’ve seen at any hotel. It’s huge, with plenty and varied equipment. They even offer different classes throughout the day. The staff was amazing. Super attentive and friendly, excellent service everywhere we went. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from that allow for a variety of cuisine. Sadly we weren’t able to try them all but the ones we did were excellent. They offer plenty of activities for all ages so there is always something to do. There are some stores/restaurants a short walk from the hotel but the city centre is also a short 10min cab ride away. It is not adults only, which is a first for us but they do offer adult only activities/areas. Overall, I would recommend for a well rounded stay especially if traveling with multiple age groups.

Loved that Hyatt Ziva was close to the airport so it was only about a 20min ride to the hotel. Also loved that the hotel was right on the beach (even though we didn't swim in the ocean). Overall, the all-inclusive dining options were super convenient and loved that the coffee shop was open 24/7 with snacks available and ice cream! The staff were so nice and the rooms felt luxurious and clean. Also loved that there was a kids area for the kiddos to play in! It was a great spot for the family.

I don’t usually respond to review requests. Overall, the resort is what you expect from an all inclusive resort. My main reason for the low rating is my “dinner” experience was not what I expected. Just a couple of examples, Italian and Japanese restaurants we had to patiently wait approximately 2hrs.++ for our main dish. Also, staff at the Japanese restaurant were slow on delivering and not as positive as most employees at other venues.

The property itself is beautiful. Our dining experience was less than satisfactory. The staff in Italian and Asian restaurants were not accommodating to our large group. It took us 3 hours to get our dinner after being seated. One of the concierge was finally able to assist in seating our group after 2 days of negotiating. The pool service was great. The staff in buffet was also great. Our check in and check out was awesome.

Our stay at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos was amazing! The food was great—especially the Italian restaurant, which really stood out. The resort itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The staff were all super friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The Kids Club staff were incredible—they made our child feel truly welcomed and engaged in all the activities they hosted. It’s a perfect spot for families with kids, but also great for adults traveling without children. They do an excellent job catering to both, with dedicated adults-only areas and restaurants. Highly recommend!

We loved our 8 day stay there! Very family friendly, great food choices, clean resort, friendly staff, and amazing kids club. The kids club was the highlight; with Connie, Andy, Drea, and Nan spending so much time with our kid and doing so many great activities. We’d recommend the hotel simply for this amenity alone. They are the best, most friendly, and most caring people. My only complaint the entire trip was food safety. I got food poisoning on day 2, along with 3 others, at the hibachi grill. Unfortunately mine did not resolve the entire trip, so I could barely utilize the restaurants for the remainder of the trip. However my wife and son were unaffected and ate as much as they could!

This is a fantastic all inclusive hotel. There are lots of food options and the adult pool is very separate from the main pool. The air conditioning seemed to not be working in the restaurants making meals very uncomfortable and the hotel itself is ready for a glow up but the staff are so friendly and the fun never stopped. I’d go again!
