We had a wonderful stay at Breathless Cabo San Lucas! The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the marina, with stunning views and easy access to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The beach itself is beautiful, though be aware that it does get deep pretty quickly. The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were modern, clean, and offered breathtaking views. A few things to note: unfortunately, the Japanese restaurant was closed during both days of our stay, which was disappointing. I also booked the Xhale Club, which promised a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, but I never received it. Additionally, while the beach beds (specifically the red ones) were included, the poolside beds—even the red ones—required a bottle purchase to use, which was a bit misleading. Overall, it was still a great experience and I’d definitely consider coming back. Just a few small things that could make the experience even better!

we ate at 3 of the on site restaurants, all were good. the pools were clean. the 'quiet' pool was a must. the other one is party central, it's good that there is an option to get away if you want to.

The staff was terrific. They were very attentive and polite. A fresh drink was ready before we needed another. There is a lot of talk about the food not being good. I totally disagree. There wasn't a meal we didn't enjoy. I think people need to understand that this is not an over-the-top expensive resort where food should be the main drive. You more than get your money's worth. The rooms were comfortable, and the view of the harbor was amazing. I do agree that the sea lions were very noisy, but there is absolutely nothing that can be done. You can only hear them from the locations around the adult pool and the guest rooms. There is no swim-up bar, but, like I said, you didn't need to get out of your chair to be served. The ocean was great, and there was plenty of room around the buoys that kept you within a safe zone. There are very few swimmable beaches in Cabo, so that is a plus for sure! The distance and route to get from one side of the resort to the other were a bit long and confusing, but really not a big deal. We took advantage of the free 40 minute photo shoot. They do a great job. The photo's are $25 per photo. There is also a package buy 10 get 2 free. You won't be able to capture your vacation the way the photographer can. What I didn't see was a lot of tipping. Yes, it is an all-inclusive resort, and tipping is not mandatory, but this is how these people make a living. A few dollars here and there can go a long way.

Beautiful room. Beautiful location on the beach with nice infinity pools. Initially got lost between the two buildings (hotel and restaurants). Harassed by vacation club sales people upon arrival which was terrible. Good breakfast and lunch. Awful dinners. Not a good room service menu. The staff were all amazing. The spa was excellent.

Being right on the Marina was really nice. The service and staff were super good! Great drinks and the food was decent. This hotel has a very weird layout. No grand entry area that is common for these resorts. No swim up bars in the pools and very lacking in entertainment. We heard Breathless has a party vibe. It was far from that, quite the opposite. It was a nice place and we definitely enjoyed it but probably a 7 or 8 out of 10.

This property is very dated and it shows in many ways. I’m a workout person so I got up every morning to workout and had to walk from the main building where the rooms were to all the way outside to cross over to the other building to access the gym, spa, and almost all of the restaurants. Lunch is only available in two places which was ridiculous. The Italian restaurant was the best hands down. Room service was mediocre. Just don’t expect a lot from the food. Of course they will immediately convince you to listen to the time share sales pitch and claim it’s a loyalty system and not a time share but it is. If you have 90 minutes to offer the free spa and boat dinner ride for free will be worth it. There are many spaces that require cabana reservations near the pool. The drinks are subpar! If you get Exhale Lounge Access that’s the only place with top shelf liquor and it’s in the main building so no top shelf during dinner unless you want to pay for bottles. The marina is beautiful but it was so loud going to bed every night.

We had an excellent stay here! Close to bars, restaurants and the marina for excursions. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was great. They had a quiet infinity pool as well as a more lively pool with live dj on the other side. A little something for everyone

I stayed at the Breathless in Cancun in Nov 2024 so based on how that property was set up, I chose them again for my Xmas stay in Cabo. In Cabo the property itself is nice & well-kept 5 stars! However, I think it lacked in onsite entertainment options.. They have a rooftop where different things happen every night but the nights when they have music is rock n roll type music. Not very diverse in the music selection. The pool area is very nice, and you can see the ocean from the pool. If you wish to sit in the Cabanas it will cost you $200 US dollars. I think it's a rip off but did it for my adult kids who were with me. The servers will take great care of you. The pool DJ and activities liven up the atmosphere. I had a room facing the marina, people had warned about the noise from the seals but it never kept me up. The hotel will provide ear plugs but we never needed them Overall the property is nice and you will enjoy your stay Here is what I didn't like: Not enough plugs in rooms Doors are SOLID wood, you can't hear anyone knock if you're on the balcony. Food choices were awful we ate all of them & the ONLY decent food was from The Spoon & Bites. You have to walk to other side of property to get to most everything, If you're at the pool & forget something in your room it's going to be a trek!! Not well designed like Cancun which was in a square. Lots of confusing levels & diff bldgs. to get to pool, rooms/lobby & it takes about 3 days to get it down

We stayed 4 nights. Plenty of food options and the quality was great. Property is located right on the Marina on one side and the beach the other side. Pool was fun and energetic with DJ. Will definitely stay again!

The head chef Victor was great went above and beyond so did the leader. Felipe made sure all our needs were met. Down the property is to go to the restaurant you have to cross an alley and go into a second building go down and then go back up in elevator time to go to the restaurants. They need to improve it by building breezeway.

The resort was nice and clean and had fu things going on at it. But, the housekeeping as a long long way to go... 3 out of 6 night we had to call down to get our room serviced. Twice they took all the towels and left us with none, So we call down again and they bring us 1 towel. Call a second time and of course get only 1 more.... LOTS of work to do in that department

Having stayed at many all-inclusive resorts in Mexico, including breathless in Cancun, which was very nice… This property was very rundown, unclean, and many of the waiters and waitresses were quite rude… We would definitely not stay at this resort again in the future. Both pool areas need to be completely redone, and all of the resort furniture is very old and beat up.

This was such a disappointment. The food is awful with very limited choices. Some of the restaurants were closed each night because lack of staff. The hotel has such an odd layout with the breakfast ‘buffet’ being a long walk from the rooms. We were there for four nights and not once did housekeeping come to the room; we had to track down for extra towels. Would not recommend, nor will I be coming back.

The N word. Our room was situated above the lounge and would vibrate because of the DJ until midnight. I called the front dest 5 times and invited the manager to visit the room so he/she could understand what our room location and the loud music that literally vibrated the floor. The manager never communicated with us. This on top of music that blasted lyrics including the N word. Not what we were hoping for on our honeymoon.

Loved everything. Sound proofing the rooms a little more would definitely help. We could hear the conversations of people walking in the hallways and also, the seals barking in the morning. Sound proofing the doors and sliding doors would solve this. The gym also could use more weights and more resistance machines. Installing a rubber floor in the free weight area would reduce damage to the floor and minimize any thumping heard by people on the first floor. Again, these are just suggestions and I made due either way. I would love to come back to Breathless Cabo. Definitely a new favorite place to stay.

Property was in the marina, which provided good scenery with the boat activity. However, it was noisy with music until 2am and started again at 6am when fishing boats left the marina. Then there were the seals that barked all day and night. If you want to sleep well, bring ear plugs!

My AC didn't work the outlets in my room didn't work it was 85°, 90% humidity and 82° in my bedroom the rooms are very dated they smell like mold the pictures that you have for this place do not reflect what I purchased this place is not a five star more like 3 star most of the people there are for the timeshare presentation so they got the trip for free same type of people Carnival is kicking off of their cruise ship not what I expected very disappointed pictures tell one story actually being there total different story I was there for 1 hour and I checked out very bad experience downgrade this place to a three star five star you're giving away too much credit that's false advertisement

The building and rooms need renovations and updating. Felt like a budget by the hour hotel. The music at the building 2 was very rap and pop oriented I would’ve like more EDM. Great location and that’s why I chose it.

The N word. Our room was situated above the lounge and would vibrate because of the DJ until midnight. I called the front dest 5 times and invited the manager to visit the room so he/she could understand what our room location and the loud music that literally vibrated the floor. Hated constant pressure as soon as checking in to attend 1.5 hours session with Hyatt unlimited club vacation salespeople.Obvious displeasure on face of person checking us in when told not interested.He should have focused on telling us what amenities are,more about the hotel etc.Not desirable checking in after long flight.

I stayed here about 8 years ago and had a great experience, so I thought I’d come spend a night here when I ended up back in Cabo. In short, I thought it had fallen apart a bit and don’t plan to come back. Experience started with the VIP service saying our room would be ready by 2p when we arrived at 1p. We checked back about 5 times but it wasn’t ready until 4p without any explanation. Then the food wasn’t nearly as good as I remembered. They touted a new Japanese experience requiring a reservation. We tried that and it had our whole party laughing due to how poor the experience was. No showmanship despite sitting at the bar, food was meh, and they couldn’t accommodate my partner at all for the fact she was pescatarian. Other than that, I got a suite but seemed like a basic room to me. Nothing suite about it. TV wouldn’t even turn off so I was doing so by hand. I think I’ll look elsewhere next time I want to visit the harbor.

Literally a great location if you want to truly explore cabo, you can walk to all the night life, restaurants, and beach. Staff friendly, not tip hungry, the rooms were clean and very nice with great views. The food could have been better but it wasnt terrible

The location was a 10!!! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We were there with 6 couples for a 50th birthday party. It wasn’t overly packed and the Infiniti pool looked out over the ocean. The view from our room was fantastic. We loved being on the mains watching all the activity in and out all day.

We had an excellent stay here! Close to bars, restaurants and the marina for excursions. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was great. They had a quiet infinity pool as well as a more lively pool with live dj on the other side. A little something for everyone

The resort is located right on the marina and near the beach. It does get noisy in the morning with all the boats travelling through the area and the sea lions at night, but it wasn’t too bothersome. The food is better than other all-inclusive resorts i’ve been to, although the selection of restaurants was slightly limited. The actual hotel itself was confusing to figure out on our first day as most of the restaurants and main pool are in a separate building across from the main building, which you have to take multiple sets of stairs/elevators to get to. There is a bit of an older crowd (40 ), so if you’re younger and looking to party, this isn’t the resort for you. Overall, great resort if you’re looking to relax.

Dinner restaurants were very good. Buffet was borderline awful and inedible, especially for breakfast - i always thought it was impossible to screw up breakfast food but they did. Food seemed to be left out for hours and hours and hours.

This property is very dated and it shows in many ways. I’m a workout person so I got up every morning to workout and had to walk from the main building where the rooms were to all the way outside to cross over to the other building to access the gym, spa, and almost all of the restaurants. Lunch is only available in two places which was ridiculous. The Italian restaurant was the best hands down. Room service was mediocre. Just don’t expect a lot from the food. Of course they will immediately convince you to listen to the time share sales pitch and claim it’s a loyalty system and not a time share but it is. If you have 90 minutes to offer the free spa and boat dinner ride for free will be worth it. There are many spaces that require cabana reservations near the pool. The drinks are subpar! If you get Exhale Lounge Access that’s the only place with top shelf liquor and it’s in the main building so no top shelf during dinner unless you want to pay for bottles. The marina is beautiful but it was so loud going to bed every night.

I stayed at the Breathless in Cancun in Nov 2024 so based on how that property was set up, I chose them again for my Xmas stay in Cabo. In Cabo the property itself is nice & well-kept 5 stars! However, I think it lacked in onsite entertainment options.. They have a rooftop where different things happen every night but the nights when they have music is rock n roll type music. Not very diverse in the music selection. The pool area is very nice, and you can see the ocean from the pool. If you wish to sit in the Cabanas it will cost you $200 US dollars. I think it's a rip off but did it for my adult kids who were with me. The servers will take great care of you. The pool DJ and activities liven up the atmosphere. I had a room facing the marina, people had warned about the noise from the seals but it never kept me up. The hotel will provide ear plugs but we never needed them Overall the property is nice and you will enjoy your stay Here is what I didn't like: Not enough plugs in rooms Doors are SOLID wood, you can't hear anyone knock if you're on the balcony. Food choices were awful we ate all of them & the ONLY decent food was from The Spoon & Bites. You have to walk to other side of property to get to most everything, If you're at the pool & forget something in your room it's going to be a trek!! Not well designed like Cancun which was in a square. Lots of confusing levels & diff bldgs. to get to pool, rooms/lobby & it takes about 3 days to get it down

Not very diverse in the music selection. The pool area is very nice, and you can see the ocean from the pool. If you wish to sit in the Cabanas it will cost you $200 US dollars. I think it's a rip off but did it for my adult kids who were with me. The servers will take great care of you. The pool DJ and activities liven up the atmosphere. I had a room facing the marina, people had warned about the noise from the seals but it never kept me up. The hotel will provide ear plugs but we never needed them Overall the property is nice and you will enjoy your stay Here is what I didn't like: Not enough plugs in rooms Doors are SOLID wood, you can't hear anyone knock if you're on the balcony. Food choices were awful we ate all of them & the ONLY decent food was from The Spoon & Bites. You have to walk to other side of property to get to most everything, If you're at the pool & forget something in your room it's going to be a trek!! Not well designed like Cancun which was in a square. Lots of confusing levels & diff bldgs. to get to pool, rooms/lobby & it takes about 3 days to get it down

It’s a great hotel and a convenient location to see Los Cabos. We realized during our trip we would rather have stayed further away from the marina however.

Not really a party place. The bars close early. The pool party is non existent. The upstairs bar closed at 1030pm. Even with people trying to party. The band just stopped playing 2 nights in a row. Food is very good and very nice staff. More relaxing than party time. Nice, but not for us

Disappointed in this hotel, the amenities and the restaurants is not what I expected, the only good experience I had was in OCOTE , I HAD Great service there and the experience was beautiful. Bites was so disappointing the first night they had no Arachera / beef , we ordered with time and then at last thet said the kitchen switched to lunch and we couldn't order nothing no more. 2nd night it was the same thing here. And the fish nets took forever for our food and it was completely empty, the resort was not even 50% capacity and the service was slow. The amenities end so early so it's like a ghost town after 11 the shows should last at least a bit longer. The fire show was good other than that everything ends early service is slow and restaurants are very strict other resorts I have stayed at have always tried to make us feel at home and helped our meals in every way here they didn't. Don't think I'll come back
