Best Western Troy Hotel

Buyer be ware. The hotel is under construction. Drywall dust on everything. The room was filthy and had not been vacuumed, dusty, dirty and nothing like the pictures on their website. Had to stay at another hotel.

Just the basics. Everything is there, just not the best shape or quality

Nice breakfast, comfortable beds, nice pillows.

We did not realize the hotel was under construction for renovation. It really wasn’t horrible or intrusive to our stay. We had an oversized room with a bunk room. Our teenage son and our young grandson slept in them but they smelled bad. They didn’t complain until the next morning. The room itself was clean and pleasant. The bathroom was not very clean. The counter and sink were not bad but found a few spots that could’ve easily been missed. The big problem was the big jacuzzi tub that was so dirty that even our boys wouldn’t use it. Luckily it was just an overnight and we headed home first thing in the morning. The manager was welcoming, kind, and very friendly. The price was good, so we didn’t complain about the bathroom and beds. Breakfast was the usual continental cuisine. Coffee was good.

Lobby was under construction. But room was not clean Trash in bathroom, old poorly cleaned faucet and shower head, opened or used bathroom soaps. Carpet was worn and dirty, there was still open bottles of soda in fridge from previous guest. Would not recommend staying at unless you didn’t want to sleep in your car for the night.
