Days Inn by Wyndham Ridgefield NJ

No hall door leading to outside. Very very unsafe. Anybody could access that motel. Hallway carpet stained. Hotel very outdated. Rooms were clean enough and no bed bugs

I enjoyed the easy parking.

The hotel description doesn't reflect what they offer or didn't. The hotel is outdated, and not clean. I asked for the gym key, apparently the gym is a treadmill and a couple of medicine balls. As well as our room, the exercise room wasn't properly clean.

This inn is old and doesn’t have an elevator and no WiFi. The breakfast is very poor.

Well the pics must be Stock photos. This is a simple roadside Motel. Nothing more than a truck stop sleep over place. The Gym is a closet with a treadmill and elliptical! The microwave in my room is at least 30 years old. Its so old the color Faded and its two-toned!

Clean accommodation. Plenty of parking available.

Bugs all in tub , God only knows if in beds. Rooms smell like smoke. Stay away believe me. Call if want info. 401-418-1501 gilly

ROACHES IN MY ROOM!!!!

Beddings were dirty and the room was so stuffy.. I actually flared allergies in there. The room was out in the Open, felt unsafe.

This hotel is NOTHING like the picture I saw online. It smells like a mix of cleaning products and mildew. The bathroom is all rusted and the tub was falling apart. The bedding had holes in it like cigarette burns or something chewed a hole. The ac/heating unit was falling apart.

Hall way stinks. All carpet are dirty. Room stinks as well. Not clean and the blanket had multiple holes.

This place is full of bed bugs and the terrible smell of cigarettes. Honestly, I thought this kind of place does not exist anymore. DO NOT STAY HERE

The carpets in hallways were stained and dingy looking. The hotel was very run down looking. The bathroom tiles and tub were covered in mold. The bed had hair on sheets. The hotel staff refused to cancel reservation and refund me.

Disgusting. Sheets were dirty. Bathtub had hair. Room had odd smell. Room looks nothing like picture.

Bathroom was very small and dirty, especially shower curtain had black mold at the bottom. It looked like never cleaned.

This place is a dump! I wasn’t expecting much but needed a place to stay for a concert at met life and everything in the area was booked. Website states it’s like 8 minutes from MetLife statidum it is NOT! The hallways carpets are were stained, rooms were extremely small, maybe had 1’ between the beds and like 6” from the wall making it extremely difficult to get in and out of bed and I’m pretty small. Bathroom needs updating and we woke up to some crazy loud noise at like 5am.

Somewhat easy access in and out of the property but because it's beside the highway/major road it can get a little noisy

My personal opinion: 300$ dollars per night does not get you anywhere in and around NYC. Room was very small, hard to move around, the only window was in a bathroom. Dark and smelly, ac super loud right next to the bed. Hotel located directly next to highway, 10 minutes from bus station but the problem is that there is no sidewalk to get you there. You are walking through a dark alley, train tracks and a stream ( with strategically placed bricks to step on) and under a bridge-nightmare! Breakfast was good/simple. Toast, bagels, cereal, yogurt, juice, milk , coffee, tee , apples. That’s the only positive. No safe for belongings.

It was directly beside a highway, and there wasn’t even a door in one area so it was freezing cold and all the noise would come in. The room was tiny, and the sink was in the room, but it cost so much money. The wifi sucked and it was just an alright experience

The room was very small and had hard time navigating around the bed and table.

Not worth at all for a night 280-300 US Doller, very old and wifi is not working at all, breakfast you get only toast that is all

I like the rooms here, they're very comfortable for me to work, with good internet, too.

The rooms are simple but , super clean and spacious.

The front desk staff was great! The WIFI never connects the wallpaper is peeling, no natural light in the room, the TV channels were blurry, no outlets near the bed to charge your devices, again no WIFI connection, and the room and furniture were extremely outdated

Dark rooms, everything inside is very old, no good walking access, poor breakfast

This place is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I was forced to stay there do to unavailable rooms at the wonderful Executive Inn Hotel where they treat you like family and tend to all your needs. I just had left knee surgery on Thursday and when I got back from the hospital I needed extra pillows for my leg and they would not give them to me. They yelled at my wife for taking a couple of plates and utensils to the room for us to eat. There were bugs in the room and the TV never worked. They only had 5 maybe 7 channels that worked. Horrible!!!!!! It’s like the bates motel. I advise you not to stay there at all. The Executive Inn or Best Western Hotels in Fort Lee is the places to be for comfort. Reserved a room for my wife while she was stock at newark airport… she took a cab to the hotel … at 23:37 pm the front desk man refused to give access to the room .. even we had our credit card ( same we paid on expedia) … even if i called at the front desk and told him i booked while she was in a cab on her way … he refused and …. Finally charged her 370$ usd another room !!! What a scam …!! We will fallow a official complaint at expedia and on hotel web site … Oh btw … my wife and to sleep fully dressed the room look un cleaned … she travelled a lot of time for her work but this … is the WORST experience she ever had !!! O.o stars experience !!

Not as happy when i hot there waited 45 mins to be checked in. First room not clean second was ok.

The attendant did not even greet upon my arrival, was not professional nor acknowledge my presence, his appearance was distasteful never before I have seen a clerk so dirty in his apparel and so unfriendly. I guess I get what I paid for.

The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and accommodating providing warm and attentive service throughout our stay. The check in process was smooth and efficient.

The hotel management was friendly did their best to rectify several issues w/ cleanliness & safety concerns, but the hotel as a whole is sadly in a significant state of disrepair. This location is for budget seeking guests and apparently the attractive price brings with it guests who do not tread lightly. Over the course of a 3 night stay while in town on business, my first room had a foul food odor and cigarette burn holes in the quilt, so they kindly allowed me to switched rooms. The second room had what looked to be a broken window lock causing a security issue, so a 3rd room was offered. It was now after 9pm and they said a refund was not possible since I booked through a third party, so I settled for this room. Peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, rip in the sheets, lamp shades stained and ripped. I wrote a review on the Wyndham site and was contacted the next morning by the hotel manager. She was extremely polite and accommodating. The only good thing about my 3 day stay at this particular Days Inn. I was switched to another (4th) room on the second day, which was measurably better than the first three. The hotel again is for budget minded guests, but this should not be met with cleanliness issues. I could not in good faith ever recommend this location to anyone which is why I’ve chosen to compose this review. Staff was the highlight. Everything else was on par for what one pays.

My stay was excellent and the manager and front desk people were very helpful and prompt enough to provide support when needed. It was clean and hygeinic.

Not a bad spot for people going to Metlife. Little run down but matches the price that you pay. Staff is very friendly and on top of things. Area seems a little sketchy but wasn’t at all. Never felt unsafe. Mexican restaurant right out side hotel was absolutely fantastic and some of the most delicious food

Close to NYC. Easy access to I95 and I80.

We thought we can park our car in the hotel park so that we can take the public transportation but unfortunately the hotel located on the highway. If you don’t have your own car it would be difficult to reach any place !!

It was quiet and staff was pleasant. Only thing was parking. There is a Cantina 46 bar and grill on the same lot and people from the bar were talking the parking for those in hotel. That needs to be addressed

Location and proximity.

Good motel and close to New York. Good option if you want to save money but still be able to travel to New York.

Convenient location. Walking distance to King Spa (16 minutes).

The location of hotel is right at highway.

A little difficult to reach and not many place to eat near by

Check in was easy. Staff was pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was good.

The room was super old, the hallways are open to the street, feels scary. But the worse was the breakfast, only box of cereals and milk, many people were asking for food to be at the "Dining area" and all the front desk guy did was taking out few black bananas and more boxes of cereal. Please pay extra $30 and go somewhere else!

The staff need to be a bit more lively. The room was clean and comfortable. Get to and from the hotel by public transport is quite a challenge. Also the breakfast menu needs a lot of improvement.

The breakfast was very limited and no options. Had the same bread and butter for 3 straight days.

Overall the place was good, the only thing was that the bathroom smelled strongly of weed (not a fan) and some things seemed to be broken like the hair dryer. The breakfast area is extremely small, we ended up skipping it and going somewhere else for breakfast, but it wasn’t a a big deal since that was the plan anyway.

It clean and the Mexican restaurant was close and thr food was good .

Room was not that bad. However, hallway was missing a door allowing all of the cold air to come into the building. Stepping outside of the room required a jacket with a sweater. Do not be fooled by "breakfast included" for this place since all it included was apples with packs of cereal. If the Cantina next door is having an event, expect not to get any sleep, as every little noise can be heard from the crowd outside. Not my favorite place, and a two night stay was too much for me.

The stay was good, nothing too luxurious, everything simple. Very bad breakfast, you can't have breakfast, you have to go to another restaurant. I don't know why they say there is breakfast if it's not good and you don't like it. Better to remove the option and lower the price of hosting.

The breakfast is too limited. It is just a brown bag with 1 muffin, a small cup of juice, a small apple, and a snack bar. It does not worth the money paid for it. The hot water is not hot enough.
