The pool was lovely, very neat and tidy. Close to the beach. Only negatives were nor great options on the restaurant menu, no vegetarian option. Also more blankets needed for winter if you dont like heaters pumping all night.

While the resort facilities (pool) are great, the beach shacks are dated, old, not maintained and are full of spiders. Customer Service also lacks as our concern about the spider webs and spiders all over then bathroom and room was’t really listened to and someone was just sent to wipe the spiderwebs. I even requested to pay for an upgrade but this was just dismissed. We also weren’t allowed to check-in 1 hour early on a Monday while the resort was fairly quiet/empty but then were sent multiple texts on check out day as a reminder of 10am sharp check out. Also be mindful of expensive prices at the Lamont restaurant.

Fabulous property. You do need a car if you plan to get out and explore. Shops are a 15mins drive although the property does have a little store on site for all your basics! We had a wonderful time and plan to return!

We stayed at Smith's beach as a family of 4 (with 2x 7 year olds). We were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded from our 2 bedroom Garden View Villa to a beachfront property. The rooms were large, each with own ensuite. The staff were very friendly and accommodating when we arrived slightly before check in and they let us use the pool area. We were lucky enough to spot whales from our balcony and enjoyed using the pool despite the weather being on the cool side (pool was a lovely 28 degrees)

What a truly perfect resort! The front staff women were exceptional and so welcoming. We stayed in number 15 and it was lovely and pristine clean. They thought of everything. The pool is an infinity pool and the beach is absolutely gorgeous. It was such a pleasure to stay for three nights. This is a hotel that definitely goes the extra mile to make for a remarkable stay for their guests. This is just top shelf all the way!

Katie at reception was very pleasant upon our check-in. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. We were easy walking distance to the beach and to the Cape to Cape Trail. The staff at Lamont‘s restaurant were also very pleasant and friendly, and the food was fresh and tasty with wonderful flavor. The other lady at reception was also very pleasant, but I cannot remember her name. There is a washing machine in the bathroom which is convenient for washing beach clothing.

Outstanding location, steps from the “cape to cape” trail - a gorgeous walk - and a short drive from Yallingup (even more stunning than Smiths Brach, which is also beautiful!) The self-catering apartments are very spacious and well equipped (complimentary coffee, tea, and milk in the fridge). Great bed and a fab deep bath on a separate level. Super friendly and helpful people at the front desk. The drawbacks: both the restaurant and our particular room (for two) had no view to give any feeling of being on the beach; our patio looked at a wall, different from the picture we had seen online. More than double the room price from Thursday to Friday - which meant the overall costs for two nights was luxury-level high while the experience was more like friendly and functional.

Only issue was: -aircon was not working the first night -the fan was very loud leading for me to sleep on the upstairs couch as it was very hot. Maintenance attended in the morning and fixed the aircon but apparently it’s an old unit so didn’t work very well anyway. And he couldn’t do anything about the fan, is still very loud and could be replaced

The Property was nice with a very good heated swimming pool. The 2 bedroom beach hut with sleeping for 6 does not have lounge seating for six and is really quite small. The restaurant is not really family friendly and is very expensive.

Smiths Beach Resort is in an amazing location right in the middle of two awesome fairly short cliff walks on the cape to cape track with a fantastic beach! The 1BR beach shack was spacious and nicely appointed and had everything you needed. Highly recommended!

Wow! Beautiful accommodation in stunning location. Excellent service, fantastic food. Incredible views. Apartment was so spacious and comfortable. Would definitely return here in summer so I could enjoy the pool. Although the pool is heated, I would prefer to swim in warm weather. Outstanding accommodation.

The cabin was great for what we needed nothing over luxurious but pretty much everything we needed. it was a nice base to use to explore the Margaret River area. Reception staff were helpful and friendly and called to advise us that our room was ready early. The on-site restaurant was variable in terms of quality. Our first breakfast was pretty ordinary. We did elect to have dinner there on one night which in hindsight was a mistake. The food was not worth the price and we had much nicer meals away from the hotel.

Staff was amazing and extremely kind. Katie was very welcoming and immediately offered an apartment change including a bottle of wine for the Internet issue. I will recommend this place to all my colleagues heading down south. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the TV in the bedroom, so it can be used to watch some movies like the one upstairs. Thank you for the amazing experience, I hope to be back one day!

We enjoyed our stay here, it’s in a lovely location, right near the beach and close to lots of places to visit in yallingup. They had lovely local produce available and really nice toiletries to use. Very pleasant and welcoming reception staff. I’ve had to knock 1 star off as unfortunately, we had a power cut during our stay and our accommodation was located next to the generator- this was extremely loud and unfortunately wasn’t powerful enough to actually provide any power or hot water to us or presumably any other accomodation units so having to deal with the noise throughout the night and morning and having no benefit wasn’t great. I’d also purchased food from Lamont’s so fairly expensive but nice items which obviously weren’t kept to the best conditions without the power in the fridge. Communication was lacking so my husband ended up going to reception to find out any details. We received a text message the following day advising of the power cut which was several hours too late and that they didn’t have any information about when the issue would be sorted. Due to the power cut they couldn’t provide any breakfast or dining service. So although the power cut wasn’t their fault the communication and situation could have been handled better. The pool and facilities were all really nice and clean and family friendly.

What a wonderful small hotel. Excellent service, surprise upgrade and lovely arrival gifts set the stage for a fantastic two days. I wish we had more time! The Lamont restaurant was a total surprise. Excellent food. Smith’s beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia. Not crowded or noisy.

Accomodation was unbelievably good with only a slight blemish of landscaping gap near front of unit. Also is was not ideal to accept Easter bookings without mentioning that the restaurant would be closed completely on Good Friday. Offering food hampers for sale instead does not befit a "luxury Hotel"
