Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cincinnati - Mason by IHG

I really have no opinion

This will not be somewhere I return too. The rooms were not clean with hair, food crumbs and othet thing found on our room. Breakfast was okay except for the milk. Do not drink that as the container they store it in they do not clean properly and keep fresh. I am disappointed to say the least

Nice location. Easy to get to. Breakfast was delicious, hearty and wholesome options (pancakes, eggs, oatmeal, sausage, potatoes). Rooms were spacious and comfy, the beds were super comfortable, some of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in, it’s like they have a pillow-top mattress. The workout room was great, good quality equipment. The inside and common areas were nice and pleasant. The only disappointment and from here on out was the information that IHG hotels including Holiday Inn Express were discontinuing in-room coffee makers to reduce single use plastics which was highly frustrating because I want coffee in my room in the morning when I wake up. I don’t want to go down to the 24 coffee bar in the lobby to get coffee first thing in the morning. However there are some in-room coffee makers available upon request so all was not lost on this occasion because I got one but in the future it could be a problem because the hotel is only keeping a small number of Keurig coffee machines for in room use available upon request. However the vast majority of guests will need to use the breakfast bar coffee machine which is available 24 hours. So be warned future guests who love coffee first thing in the morning.

Beds are very comfortable, but very high. For a shorter person, like myself, difficult to get into bed. Other than that, good place to stay and good breakfast!

The staff were courteous however when I went to the front desk to ask to borrow a bottle opener they told me there was none to be had!! I was told they get stolen if left out 😕
