Breakfast was good. Room was good. Shower was very good. Air conditioning worked great. The problem is that this hotel is under major renovations. The pool is closed, the elevators are both being used by construction crews and it's almost impossible to get into the hotel front door. We booked this hotel months ago as part of an extension to a group tour. We were not informed of the renovation status and no concessions were made to the price we booked at....even though they are practically giving away their hotel rooms this week to new bookers.

O hotel é bom, confortável, mas precisa de uma reforma, oa móveis estão muito velhos, a área da piscina precisa de reforma com urgência. Cama confortável, chuveiro excelente, suite espaçosa, isso foi ótimo. Dois problemas: suco do café da manhã péssimo. Os sucos devem ser naturais, inacreditável um hotel desse servir um tipo de suco daquele. Pão de queijo mal assado na maioria dos dias. O resto estava bom. Outra coisa importante, o telefone da recepção só dava ocupado, mesmo durante horas. Tivemos que descer para falarmos com eles, péssimo isso.

When you see it from the outside, you think it's an old hotel. But when you go inside everything changes. Thomas helped us park the car, he took our luggage to the room, it was the best. He gave us suggestions about the hotel and places to go. He was the sweetest Brazilian... what a nice man. The room is spacious, the breakfast is delicious. It has an incredible rooftop where you can see Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf. We loved it. I recommend it.

Dificuldade na area da piscina. Poucos funcioanrios e quase nao se tem guarda sol para o calor do Rio. Meu Deus, dificil Piscina limpa. Quando precisei de ligar a sauna tive que pedir apoio e acabei indo embora por nao ree esperando tanto.

The hospitality was amazing and I would rate it very high. Where it seemed to be not so good - and this may be all hotels in Brazil, or just this one - is the bedroom. It was VERY noisy, there was no clock, coffee/tea making machine and very few toiletries. It was basic, but comfortable at the same time. There was a swimming pool, which was very very small. A small gym but beautiful view. So, all in all I would say probably 7/10

The rooms we’re clean and renovated! Nice rooms. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was oke but not much variation. The hotel is still under renovations but you can use the hotel across the street to go to the gym, pool or bar. You can also exchange money at the lobby, that was great.

Parece que os quartos estao sendo reformados, assim como a piscina e academia que nao esta podendo ser utilizada. Mas disponibilizaram a área de lazer do hotel em frente (excelente) . O hotel tem garagem mas é cobrado a parte (84,00) a diária.

The only complaint I have is that the property is under remodeling. The floor I was on was already all remodeled so it was great. Everything was clean new but there’s only two elevators one is taken by the construction. There is a lot of dust around because of the construction. All day long there is construction noise. I am sure the property is going to be great once that remodeling is completed. I did not know this property was under remodeling when I booked it.

O hotel está localizado numa rua barulhenta. Eu e o meu filho ficamos no nono andar e ouvia-se muito barulho. A limpeza do quarto foi eficiente. O café da manhã foi razoável. Já o serviço de elevadores é ruim, porque somente estava funcionando um elevador e não dava conta da demanda. Finalmente, eles nos cobraram por guardar uma mala de bordo por 4 horas. É isso.

Ficamos apenas uma noite pois estávamos de passagem pelo Rio e conseguimos ficar em um quarto ja reformado. Quarto muito amplo e confortável, com uma das melhores duchas de hotel que já vi. Problema é que não investiram em janelas anti ruído e o barulho da rua é bem intenso. Ficamos em suíte de luxo de número 1203 em fevereiro de 2021. Banheiro de luxo enorme com banheira de hidromassagem e sauna é top e excelente para casal. Quarto amplo com cama gigantesca e confortável. Móveis de madeira dão um tom clássico. Espaço privativo para mesa de jantar e frigobar é um grande destaque. Local agradável perto da praia de Copacabana. Café da manhã farto e muito bom. Elevadores rápidos. Funcionários simpáticos e prestativos. Pontos negativos: 1. Ar condicionado antigo e barulhento. 2. Hotel bem localizado, no coração de Copa. Está em obras e isto traz alguns inconvenientes, mas nada que atrapalhe a estadia. Fiquei em um quarto já reformado e ficou muito confortável. O único ponto é o barulho vindo da Rua Barata Ribeiro, que atrapalha muito, mas acredito que devam ainda fazer uma proteção acústica nos quartos ao fim da reforma, principalmente, daqueles que tem as janelas de frente para a Barata.

Pros: The hotel location is great. The room was clean, and the AC worked great. The breakfast had good variety, but basic / poor quality. Cons: biggest issue is staff. Only one staff speaks English, and that lady at the reception desk is always grumpy and rude. The hotel has outdated rip-off policies. They don’t have iron for cloths, even if you ask for one. Instead, they charge you for ironing services. If you need to store your luggage, they also charge. The lady was arguing with me because I needed to store my luggage for 45 min while I get lunch. Really bad customer service. Not sure I would return to this hotel.

Great staff, went out of their way to help and spoke good English. Room was great, 2 double beds. Location was excellent, only 2 blocks from Copacabana beach. Safe area with plenty of places to eat and drink near by. There is renovation works going on during our stay, but this did not bother us. However there was consideable dust in the lift and communal area, suggest more frequent cleaning of these areas whilst the wor is ongoing. Buffet breakfast was really good, with a great choise of hot and cold food, fruit and pastries. Good value fir money hotel

The hotel was very nice. Located a few minutes to Copacabana beach. Yhe breakfast was nice also. The pool is so tiny it could be mistaken for kiddies' pool. And the habit of charging for luggage storage is overrated. It should be a complimentary gesture to hold a guest's luggage before check in time. It's not a lot of money, but it looks tacky.

Great staff, went out of their way to help and spoke good English. Room was great, 2 double beds. Location was excellent, only 2 blocks from Copacabana beach. Safe area with plenty of places to eat and drink near by. There is renovation works going on during our stay, but this did not bother us. However there was consideable dust in the lift and communal area, suggest more frequent cleaning of these areas whilst the wor is ongoing. Buffet breakfast was really good, with a great choise of hot and cold food, fruit and pastries. Good value fir money hotel

El hotel esta en plena remodelación nos tocaron dos tipos de habituna remodelada y otra no y se ve la diferencia. Desayuno agradble pero igual todos los días. Como estan en remodelación se escuchan los trabajos durante el día. Excelente ubicación. Todos los días organizan habitación.
