Pool was not in service

Pool is listed 10 to 10 actual only allowed 1/2 hr between 6 and 8 with a limit of 8 in pool, must sign up. Only 1 chair unbroken. Booked FOR the pool. If you want a pool book somewhere else!

No hot water after reporting issue at 4:40 the day before. Cold shower "will be reported to the manager" was the response at the desk. Also emergency exits were chained at both ends of the building. Dangerous situation and illegal.

Bed bugs resulted in multiple painful bites during the night. Staff ambivalent to problem. I am filing a complaint with Wyndham corporate office. Elevator out of order, pool closed, no hot breakfast items, Wifi in rooms extremely weak. Watch out for eight inch deep pothole on entrance driveway. All of this is true!

Unkept grounds. Wood and debris laying around. Elevator out of order. Noisy neighbors above my room until 3:30 am. Ran out of breakfast items. Milk, eggs. Service without a smile. All pretty terrible.

Property generally appears run down. In room the curtains have multiple stains, the toilet has stains and the towel shelf over the toilet is broken and hanging at an angle. The furniture is old and badly worn. Parking lot has serious potholes. Hallways and lobby reek of food odors. Bed is ok and we are only stopping for the night. Otherwise I would leave.

Clean, comfortable room, bed, and bathroom. That's all I'm really looking for. I prefer a firmer bed, and this hotel has them, very nice. Microwave and compact fridge is a plus, too. I've stayed here 3 times this summer, each trip being 3 nights. For the rate, it's great! Would give 5 stars, but I took away 1 star for general maintenance, which could use improvement. For example, there is no longer an ice machine on level 2 because it probably broke and didn't get replaced. The pool has been down much longer than it was open this summer. Again, it's clean and comfortable and affordable, and that's why I keep coming back.

The air conditioning was fine. The bathroom was permanently dirty. Bathtub had rust around the drain, the faucets were falling off the wall. I don’t think the grout was ever cleaned.

My experience with this hotel was absolutely terrible. The staff were very rude and inconsiderate. The rooms were not clean. One room had a mildew smell, but because I was third-party, they wouldn’t do anything. They didn’t even clean the rooms while we were gone only replace towels the complementary breakfast was lackluster only featuring breaded items no meats, eggs, or anything like that Very poor cleanliness the bathrooms had mold there was dirt collected in corners. The doors to the room were filthy and overall would not recommend location looks terrible. They don’t even pick up trash around the hotel nor do they clean out the trashcan in the front of the building the gym equipment doesn’t work And they are the cheapest in the area, but I wouldn’t even waste your time.

The front entrance door was broken had to be pulled open and I got caught in the door trying to close. The rugs and carpet were so dirty. The shower curtain was dirty and mold around the tub.

We stayed for 1 night, check in was average once we got in the room, it smelled like urine. The carpet was vacuumed, the A/C was off in the room so made it worse. The looked like the sheets were not changed so we used our own because luckily we had some in the car. The bathroom was dirty, tub/shower was dirty, the refrigerator was not working had mold in it. If I was the owner of this place I would be so embarrassed by how the cleanliness is done. I will definitely not be staying when driving through Texarkana again. I hope they change their way of managing this property it has so much potential if they kept it clean.

The room was very dirty. The floor was so dirty that we refuse to take our shoes off. The sink area was dirty. Their electrical cable was hanging out of the wall, the glass light cover above the sink was missing the faucet in the bathtub, and the sink were extremely loose.

Save yourself the time and money. Room was disgusting. Blood on the walls and lamp shade. Dirty bed skirting. Mildew/moldy musky smell in the room. Spider webs. Visable leaks on the ceiling and in the window. Disgusting microwave. Refused to refund my money. Stayed long enough to get pictures. Was even refused a manager or proof that I was leaving and wanting a refund. Was given a email address to contact.

The bed was very comfortable and the pillows. There was no hor water for a shower the water spout was loose the clothes hook on door coming off,alarm clock broken, the plug outlet where mirror was to blow dry hair was not working.

Clean, affordable, but old and in need of repairs. The ac was making a noise like a dog whistle periodically through the night. Breakfast didn't have many options.

Not a great place. Trash cans full on property, security door to building open, room just okay at best with busted extra door lock that someone obviously tried to break in. Went down to breakfast at 8:15 am but most of the food gone including no eggs and potatoes. Not a great stay. This place needs work.

The room was clean, but the whole room was just well-worn. The curtains were an issue - I had to use a hair clip to keep them closed. The desk chair was a place to sit, but it looked like a Goodwill bargain. The mattress was somewhat comfortable, but I could feel the springs. The breakfast was okay, but the only option for hot food was the waffle maker because the warmer was broken. Overall, the room served its purpose - a place to sleep.

The room was great except for connection to the internet. At 8AM when we went for breakfast they had already shut down the eggs, no cream cheese for bagels, no bacon or sausage available with an hour till to go before closing the breakfast down. Have no idea whu\y.

This property was just ok. The WiFi was poor and hardly worked and the hot water took 10 minutes of running the tap for it to work. The rooms could do with an upgrade. The staff were friendly and breakfast was fine.

The hotel had no hot water at all, took a cold shower. They said later the boiler was out. Should've told me that before I checked in. Room was comfortable just kinda small.

I had two of my drivers try to check in at 2 AM when the room was rented for the previous evening. The lady at the front desk told them they could not check in because it was after 1 AM…. Very unprofessional reported her to Expedia, and requesting my money back.!

Toilet did not work and shower did not work. Couldn’t find anyone to help us for hours. No front desk person, nobody answers phone. And when we did finally found someone, they did not believe that the toilet or shower didn’t work. Said they will have someone there in a few minutes and never showed up until the next day around 8am

Overall terrible and not to a Wyndham standard! I had a reservation, but it took a very long time to actually get checked in and be given a key. I had to wait to check out also… no one at the front desk.

I have been a fan of Baymont for a long time. I actually have spent many nights across the country in a room with the name Baymont on the sign. However I was terribly disappointed with the facility and the staff. My card was overcharged. When I tried to get it corrected I was met with a less than cordial attitude. My issue still has not been resolved.

The breakfast was pretty good, but the hot food had almost completely run out by the time we got downstairs, which was half an hour before breakfast was supposed to end. They should’ve prepared more food. One of the young ladies behind the counter was very sweet, but did not speak English well and misunderstood a lot of things, and I had a hard time getting her to grasp what I was asking. I was about 90% sure that the checkout time was noon, and when I got there, there was a piece of tape over the sign that said 11 o’clock. They need to fix that.. They have the oldest flatscreen TVs I’ve seen in a long time. They are not smart TVs. You cannot screen cast from your phone to the television. There is heavy pixelation. That said, everyone on the staff was nice. The rooms were relatively clean, but the hotel looked fairly dingy. Cheap. But to be fair, it was an inexpensive place to stay for the night and the AC cranks down to 60°, so I enjoyed the stay anyway.

Well our stay was terrible from check in! The manager it who checked us in. She was the most unprofessional rude condescending human I have ever dealt with ever. We were coming off a 10 hour drive we were exhausted. We called ahead of time to make sure the pool was open we were informed at check in that we were given false information. As she checked out res. She stated because we paid on line we had to leave a CASH DEPOSIT OF $100. Was fine leaving the deposit but didn't understand why it had to be cash thank goodness we had cash on us. We checked in and proceeded to our room. At every property we check to make sure it clean and no bugs.... Well there were not bug in out room but the bath room ceiling was falling on and our pillow cases had stuff all over them. I went to the front desk to ask for a replacement pillow case in hand. But I was informed by the "manager" she dose not have a key to access them so I had to go buy my own. my daughter showered while I ran to wal mart. As soon as I returned to the room the pungent smell of dog pee smacked me on the nose mostly in the bathroom. We decided to go find a vending machine to get a soda we asked the manager if the had one and she stated they sold them there while this exchange was happening a little boy came in from out side playing with his siblings to buy a bottle of water with a $20 the manager first questioned him if he was even a guest asking his parents name and denied him the water he then said (REST IN PHOTOS)

We needed to cancel our stay and I couldn’t even reach anyone at the hotel. I left a message and never heard back. I was still charged.

The staff person at time of check in was incredibly rude. I was needing more understanding of the $100 deposit she was requesting from me, but instead of being polite and obliging, her tone went to defensive and demanding. It caught me off guard so I attempted to cancel the reservation before leaving the lobby and she got loud and asked in a very direct manner if i was going to go ahead and cancel. If it werent because we drove so far and was tired, i would've canceled. That being said, we were scared to use ANYTHING while in our room. At the front desk, it felt like going to visit someone in a detention center. Plexi glass in front of desk, FYI signs posted all over the plexi glass, the way I was spoken to... the major FYI sign was the sign for any damages cost. An entire list of any and all things in the room, including a washcloth damage fee of $10. It was insane. So we slept and left. Breakfast was a joke. We were in there at 5:55am. Breakfast starts at 6am. 2 hard-boiled eggs. 2 biscuits. 2 different dry cereals. 4 yogurts. Coffee and a pitcher of milk. They ONLY thing they had going for them was the waffle machine. Check out was smoother, but all and all, i will never stay there again. Did not feel welcome at all. My family spoke to 2 other families that morning and they also felt the same.

Location is right off I-30 which is great. Checkin process was horrible. At least 15 minutes. System is archaic and I had to sign at least 4 papers.

Very efficient and convenient location to highway 30. There were eateries nearby, I had no reason to contact the front desk the room was clean everything I needed was available. Towels were clean water was hot, room smelled good. I slept well it was good to go.

Always a great stay at this location. There are cheaper ones close by and the neighborhood is trash but this hotel is safe and clean.

After long travel,We just need a clean comfortable room without any expensive extras. Don’t use /need a pool or exercise room . We typically arrive 9-10:00 @ night & just want a good night sleep. Coffee maker , fridge are nice. 3rd floor room facing back area was quiet. Breakfast was very minimal. After Covid issues did away with breakfasts at most hotels , most have not brought back many good choices, so we don’t count on it anyways. It was easy off the hywy to find the place, nice for when you’re quite tired & don’t know the area well enough to go on a hunting expedition to find a hotel. Price was good too. Lower than some others in the area.

Area looked little run down

Nice Baymont, easy to get to right off highway. Nice size room with great sink, countertop area in bathroom. Front desk people friendly and helpful. Bonus - Denny's is right next door!

Too many homeless around the property.

Property is run down and surrounded by sketchy hotels. Hot water did not work in room 210 to the clerk, and she said that they had no reports of problems with hot water. She neglected to even check.

Property is average. Was certainly a great hotel at one point but not anymore. Beds were comfortable, bedroom all together was acceptable. My main point of contention was the breakfast... No eggs, no sausage, no bacon, no gravy... Nothing warm... ONE yogurt (I had to request another one for myself). Bagel but no cream cheese for it. Few slices of bread... We had to go somewhere else to get breakfast...

Less than expected The price was good. The bed was comfortable. But the hotel smelled musty, the tv remote was sticky. At breakfast the gravy for the biscuits was like water. The batter dispenser for the waffle maker was empty from the start.
