The whole experience was really good except for The Spa. We tried to book a package with the Spa Operator and we’re advised that the menus in the room and on the website were incorrect and prices had increased substantially. The owner was not prepared to move on the prices and was not very customer friendly. Mercure need to also understand that this reflects on their property. Also no courtesy car/bus or taxis available if you’d like to venture into town for dinner. All other staff were professional and friendly and the experiences with the hotel was enjoyable.

The property has a pleasant environment surrounded by plants. It has a tranquil atmosphere which is great for resting and reflection. Food is very well created and delicious. Staff is very friendly and well trained. Since its an outdoor pool, t would be good to heat the pool through solar system setup especially with winter approaching like other properties.

The place could do with a makeover. Reception guy although was friendly, was not informative. The pool was dirty inside with sand. I didn’t get much of it being a “resort “. It was and offered basic hotel stuff. No extra.

The hotel is well laid out and the amenities are good, but our room was a bit tired and had obvious water damage. Would not have been expensive to replace the bathroom door and carpet, other than that the facilities are pretty well kept, the staff were nice, the location is good and would stay again for the right price.

The staff were great! The room was clean and comfortable. I don’t like how the room we were in was an adjoining room and we could hear a lot of noise from the people in the other room. The internet is extremely poor of an evening which was extremely annoying! Other than that we were extremely happy with our stay. The restaurant and day spa on site was very good would highly recommend

I thoughly enjoyed my stay at Mecure Gerringong. Room 317: An exceptionally clean room with a shower and a bathtub! The bed was very comfortable too! The room provides a full-sized fridge; electric hotplate; cutlery, crockery, electric kettle and everything one needs for relaxed stay. 🙂 Staff & Service: All staff were friendly, kind, efficient and so obliging, especially Connor at Reception! Loved our stay at the Mercure. The room was clean, comfortable & spacious. We also loved happy hour with live music in the restaurant. We would have loved to stay & have dinner, but found the restaurant choices very limited & pricey. Otherwise our overall stay was very enjoyable. We’ll be back!
