The hotel is situated in a little northern Mallorcan seaside town and 700 meters from Son Bauló beach. It features 211 rooms and apartments of various kinds, including family rooms, garden views, and pool views, to best meet the needs of our customers. This is a lovely spacious complex, nice grounds, nice big pool. Food pretty standard but nicefresh fish and meat and nice eggs and omeletes for breakfast. Rooms are much better than the reviews say, and staff v friendly. The only reason we probably wouldnt go back is the way all the sunbeds are reserved at 9am and if you dont join them in reserving some you wont have a sunbed all day. It was very annoying!

Eine wunderschöne Anlage, tolles Essen und Getränke und sehr guter, freundlicher Service. Aber - unser Studio war total abgewohnt und die Reinigung war sehr bescheiden (die Anlage an sich wird gut gepflegt). Eine Liege am Pool bekommt man nur, wenn man diese vor 9 Uhr, wie alle anderen auch, mit einem Handtuch belegt. Da wir sowieso lieber am wunderschönen Playa de Muro liegen, war das für uns nicht schlimm. Es handelt sich um ein absolutes Familienhotel mit besonders vielen Kleinkindern. Entsprechend ist der Lärmpegel und das Gewusel im Restaurant und am Pool. Für Alleinreisende oder Paare sind andere Hotels definitiv besser geeignet. Ein schöner Urlaub, aber für uns als Paar kommt das Hotel nicht mehr in Frage.

We went for a family trip in can picafort for 7 nights. Generally everything was great but there is a roam for improvement. Kids loved it so much as there were many kids and many activities. Pool was great. We took a half board which is breakfast and dinner. Food was varied and nice. Lunch we ate from the pool bar which was decent. There is a shop neat the pool but you can go to Lidle which is 3 mins walk. We also loved the mini disco and the evening shows. We booked a pool view room but the room was the last so had little view to the pool. And you need to put your towel on the sunbeds around 8am as it will fill out fast.Also the beds are not great but not bad either. Staff were all very helpful and very kind. Definitely the whole family want to go back again.

Kamen in der Nacht an, das gebuchtes Zimmer gab es nicht mehr. Es wurde uns eine alternative Lösung angeboten. Zimmer war ordentlich und sauber. Das Essen/Buffett war umfangreich, frisch und z.T. wurden tgl. Themen (z.B. griechisch) mit angeboten. Das Personal war freundlich und machten Ihre Arbeit gut und gingen, soweit möglich auf Fragen und Wünsche ein. Die ganze Anlage wurde in Ordnung gehalten. Es gab 6Tage die Woche ein abwechselndes Abendprogramm und Nachmittag Animation am Pool. es gab eine Klimaanlage im Zimmer, z.T. aber umständlich(3Stufen nur) einstellbar. Falls sie nicht gleich funktioniert, erstmal alle Türen richtig zumachen (Kontakte an den Türen) oder das Personal fragen, die helfen einem. Das zweite Manko, das ich hatte, war in den beiden letzten Tagen, an dem eine große Reisegruppe da war, die Angst hatte zu verhungern, wenig Benehmen hatten und lange,lange im Essraum waren und das Personal an Ihre Grenzen brachten. Im allgemeinen kann ich die Einrichtung sehr empfehlen, gegenüber ist ein LIDL, die Stadt mit langer Promenade und Sandstrandt in gehweite, empfehlen ist besonders der Strandt geradeaus runter, weniger Gäste aber Kleiner, aber zu empfehlen. Wenn wir in die Gegend nochmal fahren, gerne wieder Mfg Heinemann

Wir waren als Gruppe mit 6 Erwachsenen und 6 Kindern im Grundschulalter im Hotel. Die letzten Jahre waren wir in vergleichbaren Hotels in Mallorca. Die Anlage an sich ist ganz schön. Gut gefallen hat uns der kleine Pool für die Kinder mit mehreren kleinen Rutschen und auch der Hauptpool, wobei der auch etwas größer sein dürfte. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Was uns auch gut gefallen hat war die Snackbar, an der man von 11 bis 17 oder 18 Uhr Burger, Pommes, Pizza, Obst etc. bekommen konnte. Was uns nicht gefallen hat war die Lage des Hotels, da es doch schon ziemlich weit vom Strand weg ist. Man läuft zum Strand je nachdem wo man hingeht zwischen 20 und 40 Minuten. Es fährt zwar auch eine Bimmbelbahn, aber die ist recht teuer und hat eine sehr lange Mittagspause. Das Mittag- und Abendessen im Hotel war auch nicht so der Renner. Die Auswahl war zwar ok aber gerade die Fleischgerichte waren nicht wirklich gut. Es war zwar nie schlecht aber auch nicht gut.

Muy poca variedad de comida en la noche, “amenities" baño cero, el mantenimiento del hotel muy bajo en habitaciones y zonas hotel. actividades como futbol, tenis, hay que dejar deposito, no tiene sentido, por qué no se deja abierta las puertas? No hay riesgo de perdida, ya que no hay nada salvo las pistas y el campo… dejar deposito por las toallas, tampoco, podrian poner a una persona que de y recoja las toallas, sin necesidad de pedir deposito…

Vell Mari is a resort comprising of multiple blocks of apartments, each placed around the outdoor swimming pool, which is decent in size and surrounded by sun beds. There is a separate swimming pool outside for children with a water slide and an indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi. It is unusually located opposite a Lidl and in a primarily residential space. It is possible to walk to the beach but you are better off getting the bus or mini train, particularly in hot weather. This is a touristy hotspot, so if you want a Mallorcan experience, avoid Can Picafort. The rooms were spacious. There was plenty of plants and some character to the resort, Other guests are very competitive in reserving sun beds, with most taken before the pool is even open. The kids swimming pool (outside) is not staffed. For several hours there was human faeces placed on the side of the kids swimming pool, which put us off going there. The events staff performed a minidisco every night and performed the same routine. A couple of them did not seem to enjoy their jobs. The restaurant has a decent selection of food and drink, however the juices are extremely sugary and there are flies on the foods and throughout the restaurant. We had to put a €10 deposit for a kettle and a €10 deposit for an iron (no ironing boards available). I could go on and on. This is advertised as four stars, which you pay for, but it feels like 2/3 stars.

Das Vell Mari ist eine sehr schöne Anlage und durch die einzelnen Gebäude fühlt man sich mehr in einer Ferienwohnung als in einem Hotel. Es war Genau das was wir gesucht haben. Etwas abgelegen vom Zentrum ist für Landeier wie uns lieber als zwischen Mauern und Straßen zu leben. Dennoch war alles zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Zum Naturstrand oder der Strand an der Promenade von Can Picafort. Rund um wie Anlage sind Parkplätze an der Straße vorhanden, was die Anreise mit dem Mietwagen abrundet. Das Personal ist gut drauf und wirklich sehr freundlich. Der Pool war sauber und die Liegen wurden jeden Morgen mit dem Hochdruckreiniger abgewaschen. Das Buffet war zum Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen abwechslungsreich und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Getränke und Snacks rund um die Uhr in Selbstbedienung (Cocktails natürlich vom Barkeeper). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden ohne zu zögern wieder ins Vell Mari. Die Kinder hatten auch ihren Spaß am Tag oder am Abend zur Kinderdisco. Das Abendprogramm war auch sehr unterhaltsam und vielseitig. Auf diesem Weg nochmals vielen Dank an die gesamte Mannschaft von Vell Mari, danke an die Küche, den Kellnerinnen und Kelnern, den Barkeeper*innen, den Reinigungskräften, dem Lifeguard und der Rezeption die bei Fragen zur Verfügung stand. Un appartement vraiment très vieillissant et pas propre. Les joints noir de la salle de bain avec des fuites d’eau au niveau de la baignoire! un personnel très peu ’aimable !!! Seul, le personnel de service des repas était plutôt agréable. Les personnes tenant l’accueil ainsi que le personnel d’hygiène était vraiment désagréable. Il n’y avait pas de salle de sport, la salle de arcade 1 machine sur 10 fonctionnait. Le ménage était bâclé, nous avions jamais le bon nombre de serviette. Il fallait tout le temps revenir à l’accueil en chercher. La carte aimantée de la chambre et se démagnétiser tous tous les jours !! Aucune possibilité de se garer aux alentours de l’hôtel. La piscine fermait pour 19 heures et non 20 heures comme ce qui était mentionné dans le contrat. Les plats étaient peu diversifié et de pas très bon goût… Cet hôtel ne vaut vraiment pas du tout quatre étoiles, comme nous avons pu faire auparavant sur la même île les prestations sont vraiment vraiment très mauvaise.

Trasig vattenpump som hade läkt i garderoben. De tjockare filtarna var blöta första kvällen vi kom till hotellet. Smutsigt bakom dörrarna (stora dammråttor). Allt övrigt var toppen, speciellt maten!

Hotel ist zweckmäßig und günstig. Leider leidet die Sauberkeit doch sehr , dreckige Teller und Geschirr sind "normal" und man muss etwas suchen bevor etwas sauberes gefunden wird. Die Zimmer sind schon sehr abgewohnt und könnten mal renoviert werden. Ein bisschen frische Farbe an der Wand kann Wunder wirken. Essen ist sehr eintönig, aber essbar. Die Damen und Herren an der Rezeption sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Allgemein kann lässt sich festhalten, dass das Hotel seine besten Zeiten hinter sich hat und eine allgemeine frische Kur dem Objekt gut tun würde.

We loved our stay at Vell Marí and would definitely go back again. It’s an easy drive from the airport. We didn’t bother paying extra for dedicated parking and we never had trouble getting parked on the streets outside the hotel. It’s right opposite Lidl which is handy if you don’t want to take toiletries in your suitcase. The staff were lovely and the food was good and varied every day although there were also consistent options like pizza and pasta so always something for my picky eater 7 year old. The hotel was clean and quiet. Rooms are soundproof so although we could just about hear the entertainment in the evenings it wasn’t loud enough that it kept my son awake and it also didn’t go on too late. Only negatives are that I would have liked a kettle in our room as I like a coffee when I wake up. We had a microwave so I would microwave water for coffee but a kettle would have been nice. Also the air con didn’t get super cold. It was noticeable during the day but at night it felt like it wasn’t really doing much so even though we had it on the coldest setting that still felt like maybe 22-23oC which is warmer than we are used to sleeping in at night. Great resort. Good size but doesn’t feel as big as it is. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Property showing its age in style but very clean and well kept. Hope to return soon. Pool is great for both kids and adults.

Preis-Leistung find ich echt in Ordnung. Wie in den Bewertungen schon diverse Male geschrieben, bräuchten die Zimmer dringend eine Renovierung. Aber es war alles sauber und funktional. Die Anlage ist schön und perfekt mit Kindern. Die Tische am Pool, Schirmständer und die Liegengestelle sollten aber dringend abends abgewischt werden. Das war teilweise echt eklig. Das Essen war dem Preis auch mehr als angemessen. Es war abwechslungsreich und lecker.

Vell Mari is a resort comprising of multiple blocks of apartments, each placed around the outdoor swimming pool, which is decent in size and surrounded by sun beds. There is a separate swimming pool outside for children with a water slide and an indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi. It is unusually located opposite a Lidl and in a primarily residential space. It is possible to walk to the beach but you are better off getting the bus or mini train, particularly in hot weather. This is a touristy hotspot, so if you want a Mallorcan experience, avoid Can Picafort. The rooms were spacious. There was plenty of plants and some character to the resort, Other guests are very competitive in reserving sun beds, with most taken before the pool is even open. The kids swimming pool (outside) is not staffed. For several hours there was human faeces placed on the side of the kids swimming pool, which put us off going there. The events staff performed a minidisco every night and performed the same routine. A couple of them did not seem to enjoy their jobs. The restaurant has a decent selection of food and drink, however the juices are extremely sugary and there are flies on the foods and throughout the restaurant. We had to put a €10 deposit for a kettle and a €10 deposit for an iron (no ironing boards available). I could go on and on. This is advertised as four stars, which you pay for, but it feels like 2/3 stars.

Das Vell Mari ist eine sehr schöne Anlage und durch die einzelnen Gebäude fühlt man sich mehr in einer Ferienwohnung als in einem Hotel. Es war Genau das was wir gesucht haben. Etwas abgelegen vom Zentrum ist für Landeier wie uns lieber als zwischen Mauern und Straßen zu leben. Dennoch war alles zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Zum Naturstrand oder der Strand an der Promenade von Can Picafort. Rund um wie Anlage sind Parkplätze an der Straße vorhanden, was die Anreise mit dem Mietwagen abrundet. Das Personal ist gut drauf und wirklich sehr freundlich. Der Pool war sauber und die Liegen wurden jeden Morgen mit dem Hochdruckreiniger abgewaschen. Das Buffet war zum Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen abwechslungsreich und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Getränke und Snacks rund um die Uhr in Selbstbedienung (Cocktails natürlich vom Barkeeper). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden ohne zu zögern wieder ins Vell Mari. Die Kinder hatten auch ihren Spaß am Tag oder am Abend zur Kinderdisco. Das Abendprogramm war auch sehr unterhaltsam und vielseitig. Auf diesem Weg nochmals vielen Dank an die gesamte Mannschaft von Vell Mari, danke an die Küche, den Kellnerinnen und Kelnern, den Barkeeper*innen, den Reinigungskräften, dem Lifeguard und der Rezeption die bei Fragen zur Verfügung stand. This hotel was amazing and we will definitely come back! The food was great which I find is quite rare for all inclusive. The pool is amazing and there was always sun beds so could get to the pool whenever. The only thing was the snack bar was closed for a couple days (might be due to the weather but not sure). The room was great, it was very quiet which was nice so slept really well. The bed has a memory foam topper on so it was really comfortable. It took 15 mins to walk into the town but could get the bus needed which was a 2 min walk away. It was a great trip and would recommend it for couples or families!

Un appartement vraiment très vieillissant et pas propre. Les joints noir de la salle de bain avec des fuites d’eau au niveau de la baignoire! un personnel très peu ’aimable !!! Seul, le personnel de service des repas était plutôt agréable. Les personnes tenant l’accueil ainsi que le personnel d’hygiène était vraiment désagréable. Il n’y avait pas de salle de sport, la salle de arcade 1 machine sur 10 fonctionnait. Le ménage était bâclé, nous avions jamais le bon nombre de serviette. Il fallait tout le temps revenir à l’accueil en chercher. La carte aimantée de la chambre et se démagnétiser tous tous les jours !! Aucune possibilité de se garer aux alentours de l’hôtel. La piscine fermait pour 19 heures et non 20 heures comme ce qui était mentionné dans le contrat. Les plats étaient peu diversifié et de pas très bon goût… Cet hôtel ne vaut vraiment pas du tout quatre étoiles, comme nous avons pu faire auparavant sur la même île les prestations sont vraiment vraiment très mauvaise.

Kamen in der Nacht an, das gebuchtes Zimmer gab es nicht mehr. Es wurde uns eine alternative Lösung angeboten. Zimmer war ordentlich und sauber. Das Essen/Buffett war umfangreich, frisch und z.T. wurden tgl. Themen (z.B. griechisch) mit angeboten. Das Personal war freundlich und machten Ihre Arbeit gut und gingen, soweit möglich auf Fragen und Wünsche ein. Die ganze Anlage wurde in Ordnung gehalten. Es gab 6Tage die Woche ein abwechselndes Abendprogramm und Nachmittag Animation am Pool. es gab eine Klimaanlage im Zimmer, z.T. aber umständlich(3Stufen nur) einstellbar. Falls sie nicht gleich funktioniert, erstmal alle Türen richtig zumachen (Kontakte an den Türen) oder das Personal fragen, die helfen einem. Das zweite Manko, das ich hatte, war in den beiden letzten Tagen, an dem eine große Reisegruppe da war, die Angst hatte zu verhungern, wenig Benehmen hatten und lange,lange im Essraum waren und das Personal an Ihre Grenzen brachten. Im allgemeinen kann ich die Einrichtung sehr empfehlen, gegenüber ist ein LIDL, die Stadt mit langer Promenade und Sandstrandt in gehweite, empfehlen ist besonders der Strandt geradeaus runter, weniger Gäste aber Kleiner, aber zu empfehlen. Wenn wir in die Gegend nochmal fahren, gerne wieder Mfg Heinemann

Fácil aparcar en la entrada, tienen un gran problema con las toallas en las piscina, si no desayunas a primera hora y dejas la toalla , te quedas sin hamaca todo el día cuando hay un cartel que pone prohibido reservar, en mi caso, quite toallas y me puse.el ambiente es de diferentes nacionalidades pero mucho alemán. El hotel en sí me gustó, algo anticuado pero pasable, limpio y la comida bien.

Kamen in der Nacht an, das gebuchtes Zimmer gab es nicht mehr. Es wurde uns eine alternative Lösung angeboten. Zimmer war ordentlich und sauber. Das Essen/Buffett war umfangreich, frisch und z.T. wurden tgl. Themen (z.B. griechisch) mit angeboten. Das Personal war freundlich und machten Ihre Arbeit gut und gingen, soweit möglich auf Fragen und Wünsche ein. Die ganze Anlage wurde in Ordnung gehalten. Es gab 6Tage die Woche ein abwechselndes Abendprogramm und Nachmittag Animation am Pool. es gab eine Klimaanlage im Zimmer, z.T. aber umständlich(3Stufen nur) einstellbar. Falls sie nicht gleich funktioniert, erstmal alle Türen richtig zumachen (Kontakte an den Türen) oder das Personal fragen, die helfen einem. Das zweite Manko, das ich hatte, war in den beiden letzten Tagen, an dem eine große Reisegruppe da war, die Angst hatte zu verhungern, wenig Benehmen hatten und lange,lange im Essraum waren und das Personal an Ihre Grenzen brachten. Im allgemeinen kann ich die Einrichtung sehr empfehlen, gegenüber ist ein LIDL, die Stadt mit langer Promenade und Sandstrandt in gehweite, empfehlen ist besonders der Strandt geradeaus runter, weniger Gäste aber Kleiner, aber zu empfehlen. Wenn wir in die Gegend nochmal fahren, gerne wieder Mfg Heinemann

This hotel was amazing and we will definitely come back! The food was great which I find is quite rare for all inclusive. The pool is amazing and there was always sun beds so could get to the pool whenever. The only thing was the snack bar was closed for a couple days (might be due to the weather but not sure). The room was great, it was very quiet which was nice so slept really well. The bed has a memory foam topper on so it was really comfortable. It took 15 mins to walk into the town but could get the bus needed which was a 2 min walk away. It was a great trip and would recommend it for couples or families!

Wir waren als Gruppe mit 6 Erwachsenen und 6 Kindern im Grundschulalter im Hotel. Die letzten Jahre waren wir in vergleichbaren Hotels in Mallorca. Die Anlage an sich ist ganz schön. Gut gefallen hat uns der kleine Pool für die Kinder mit mehreren kleinen Rutschen und auch der Hauptpool, wobei der auch etwas größer sein dürfte. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Was uns auch gut gefallen hat war die Snackbar, an der man von 11 bis 17 oder 18 Uhr Burger, Pommes, Pizza, Obst etc. bekommen konnte. Was uns nicht gefallen hat war die Lage des Hotels, da es doch schon ziemlich weit vom Strand weg ist. Man läuft zum Strand je nachdem wo man hingeht zwischen 20 und 40 Minuten. Es fährt zwar auch eine Bimmbelbahn, aber die ist recht teuer und hat eine sehr lange Mittagspause. Das Mittag- und Abendessen im Hotel war auch nicht so der Renner. Die Auswahl war zwar ok aber gerade die Fleischgerichte waren nicht wirklich gut. Es war zwar nie schlecht aber auch nicht gut.

Vell Mari Hotel very good hotel for families with children. Food very tasty and different. Only what we don’t like , sea is far from hotel, but buses runs very often and by bus we could get any place on the island.

We loved our stay at Vell Marí and would definitely go back again. It’s an easy drive from the airport. We didn’t bother paying extra for dedicated parking and we never had trouble getting parked on the streets outside the hotel. It’s right opposite Lidl which is handy if you don’t want to take toiletries in your suitcase. The staff were lovely and the food was good and varied every day although there were also consistent options like pizza and pasta so always something for my picky eater 7 year old. The hotel was clean and quiet. Rooms are soundproof so although we could just about hear the entertainment in the evenings it wasn’t loud enough that it kept my son awake and it also didn’t go on too late. Only negatives are that I would have liked a kettle in our room as I like a coffee when I wake up. We had a microwave so I would microwave water for coffee but a kettle would have been nice. Also the air con didn’t get super cold. It was noticeable during the day but at night it felt like it wasn’t really doing much so even though we had it on the coldest setting that still felt like maybe 22-23oC which is warmer than we are used to sleeping in at night. But really those negatives are so minor, it really is a super little hotel and I have recommended it to anyone who asked me about our holiday. Thank you Vell Marí :)

Das Vell Mari ist eine sehr schöne Anlage und durch die einzelnen Gebäude fühlt man sich mehr in einer Ferienwohnung als in einem Hotel. Es war Genau das was wir gesucht haben. Etwas abgelegen vom Zentrum ist für Landeier wie uns lieber als zwischen Mauern und Straßen zu leben. Dennoch war alles zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Zum Naturstrand oder der Strand an der Promenade von Can Picafort. Rund um wie Anlage sind Parkplätze an der Straße vorhanden, was die Anreise mit dem Mietwagen abrundet. Das Personal ist gut drauf und wirklich sehr freundlich. Der Pool war sauber und die Liegen wurden jeden Morgen mit dem Hochdruckreiniger abgewaschen. Das Buffet war zum Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen abwechslungsreich und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Getränke und Snacks rund um die Uhr in Selbstbedienung (Cocktails natürlich vom Barkeeper). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden ohne zu zögern wieder ins Vell Mari. Die Kinder hatten auch ihren Spaß am Tag oder am Abend zur Kinderdisco. Das Abendprogramm war auch sehr unterhaltsam und vielseitig. Auf diesem Weg nochmals vielen Dank an die gesamte Mannschaft von Vell Mari, danke an die Küche, den Kellnerinnen und Kelnern, den Barkeeper*innen, den Reinigungskräften, dem Lifeguard und der Rezeption die bei Fragen zur Verfügung stand. Great resort. Good size but doesn’t feel as big as it is. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Property showing its age in style but very clean and well kept. Hope to return soon. Pool is great for both kids and adults.

Vell Mari is a resort comprising of multiple blocks of apartments, each placed around the outdoor swimming pool, which is decent in size and surrounded by sun beds. There is a separate swimming pool outside for children with a water slide and an indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi. It is unusually located opposite a Lidl and in a primarily residential space. It is possible to walk to the beach but you are better off getting the bus or mini train, particularly in hot weather. This is a touristy hotspot, so if you want a Mallorcan experience, avoid Can Picafort. The rooms were spacious. There was plenty of plants and some character to the resort, Other guests are very competitive in reserving sun beds, with most taken before the pool is even open. The kids swimming pool (outside) is not staffed. For several hours there was human faeces placed on the side of the kids swimming pool, which put us off going there. The events staff performed a minidisco every night and performed the same routine. A couple of them did not seem to enjoy their jobs. The restaurant has a decent selection of food and drink, however the juices are extremely sugary and there are flies on the foods and throughout the restaurant. We had to put a €10 deposit for a kettle and a €10 deposit for an iron (no ironing boards available). I could go on and on. This is advertised as four stars, which you pay for, but it feels like 2/3 stars.
