Great place to stay for Porter del Carmen old town and harbour. Accommodation is great value for money as a whilst the food in the restaurant was limited choice, it was fairly good for all inclusive buffet. We enjoyed our stay here but was mainly a base for us. Be warned that the property is on s hill with lots of steps so if you have mobility issues then this isn't the property for you. Otherwise give it a go, it's good value for money and plenty of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The main resort strip is about 15 minute walk.

Hébergement très vieux. Cela fait sûrement des années qu’ils n’investissent plus dans l’hôtel. Manque des carreaux dans la piscine, canard qui ce baigne dedans le soir. Manque des carreaux dans la salle de bain, traces noires de joint de baignoire pas propres. Matelas vieillissants et meubles aussi. Prises électriques qui tombent. Le ménage est fait chaque jours, les repas sont copieux et surtout variés. Mériterait un bon coup de rafraîchissement, que ce soit les chambres ou l’hôtel dans sa globalité.

Anlage in sehr schöner Umgebung, aber offensichtlich dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Möblierung überholungsbedürftig, Türgriffe und Schlösser verschlissen. Bad mit Schimmel in den Fugen, Badewanne mit Abblätterungen, Schwimminpool unbeheizt und mit vielen fehlenden Fliesen. Frühstück hauptsächlich auf englische Bedürfnisse abgestellt. Kakalakenbefall.

La piscina sucia, pocas sombrillas, la zona de piscina com tierra granulosa muy desagradable que se desprwndia del cemento, los baños de la piscina apestosos. El alojamiento normalito. La media para este precio. Los marcos de piertan dabam grima.el ultimo dia salieron varias cuxarachas, una del cajon de los cubiertos. Camas comodas. 20 minutos para dos raxiones de papas fritas. ( bien de precio y ricas) El colmo ,me estallo el bote dw ketxhup ,que estaba fermentado en el cuerpo y en la cara y no solo no me ayudaron ,osino que el camarero oriental se rió de mi y me dijo que me habia pasado agitando( si no hubiera sofo poesto, hubieramos xomido mas dias alli( comida rapida,bpero buena pinta y buen precio) es un " todo incluido" por lo que ya se sabe que el sercicio es muy de batalla, aunque pagues. Otra noche, dos cubatas etiquera, nos los querian poner en vasito de plastico y cocacola de grifo... Al final conseguimos que nos lo pusiwra en un vaso decente, pero lo tuvimos que tomar con el camarero vigilandonos en una mesa del comedor( todo estilo). La tv en version original, y no la cambiaron( yo no podia por el mando en modo hotel) Personal de limpieza y socorrista, muy bien. Recepcion correctos, y bien. Jonatan, de animacion, se desvive por las actividades(10/10).

What to say about the BV Aquarius. On first arrival we were less than impressed. The complex is large. There are many steps, no lifts, no ramps. Impossible for anyone with mobility issues to navigate. Our room was a 1 bedroom apartment with a mattress set on top of a sofa in the lounge as a 3rd bed. This seriously impaired the space in the living area. The apartment furniture was basic to say the least and to be honest the whole apartment just lacked TLC. On a positive note the staff throughout the complex were excellent. Everyone was helpful. Maid service was daily excluding Wednesday and 3 changes of towels and once of bedding in 7 days was very welcome. The bar is excellent. Food is good and cheap but very tasty. Drinks are reasonably priced. The biggest issue however is the pool area. It’s huge with a massive terrace with lots of sunbeds. However the pool has lots of missing tiles on the pool sides and base. There is an area that is crumbling at the side of the pool and this was never swept up or cordoned off during our stay. Kids are there and there could easily be nasty accidents. Health and Safety would have a field day Back to the positives. The apartments are 2 minutes from the lovely harbour area. Lots of places to eat and bars. It’s a good 15 minute stroll to the Strip in PDC I’ve tried to give an honest review here. I honestly think with a spruce up this could be a fantastic resort. As is, we would not return. Sorry

Rooms very dated , food was probably the worst all-inclusive I every had . Stone cold fried eggs to cold rubber bacon even at 8am at start of service . No cooking of food to order .bar drinks very limited. bar snack you have to pay even if your all inclusive at same rate as self catering. . Not Suitable for elderly travellers due to the hundreds of stairs to get to your apartment with no service your showing a map at that’s it . Very dark at night in and around hotel . I had Human excrement out side my apartment with hundreds of flys . It took 3 hours and 3 visits to reception before it was removed. So don’t stay here also I found old town to be very dirty looking . And dark at night so don’t be alone .

Accommodation satisfactory, clean. Only downside of the apartments complex Is all the stairs….. not recommended for disability or elderly who struggle with stairs and especially a lot of them.

The hotel was filthy, walls were chipped, beds were dirty, either the filthy swimming pool or the dirty bed sheets gave my 4 year old a sty on his eye for the rest of the holiday, After the first 10 seconds of walking into our room we were hunting on our phones for somewhere else to stay. Due to limited availability we had no choice but to stay there, now coming home we are unwell and just feel overall dirty. Limited food / all inclusive was NOT all inclusive as it had a time limit and you have to PAY for water. Not happy at all will be raising a higher complaint. Not value for money. I’d rather sleep in the bins outside the complex.

La piscina, sin baldosas en la página web, ponía una piscina limpia con baldosas y todo llegamos al Hotel y hay larvas de mosca por toda la piscina por la noche, hay patos dentro de la piscina, las baldosas con moo y el agua no olía ni a cloro no nos metimos ni un día. Además en la habitación no nos cambiaron las sábanas. Tenías que ir detrás de las de la limpieza para que te las cambien el secador de pelo funcionaba dos minutos contados y se apagaba se sobrecalentaba la ducha, el agua iba los mínimo posible, la presión y además el agua salía fría no recomiendo para nada ir a este Hotel te proponen unas cosas y llegas y hay otras muy diferentes

Having stayed a few times in lanzarote around PDC and PB this has been the worst accomodation. The shower bairly worked and was mouldy and dirty on all seals. The celing fan was old and coming of the ceiling and felt unsafe to use. Electric points were unusable. The door stuck closed and we is still using keys. The wifi "per room" is actually per device. The ladies toilets never had toilet paper, the towels were dirty. The food was the same every night and basic. A budget hotel yes but the standards wernt even to that.

Hotel is showing it's age and in need of up dating, that being said the room and grounds were spotless, the living room and bedroom had ceiling fans which helped keep rooms cool, towels changed every other day, beds very comfortable. Overall it's a budget hotel and is good value for money. We had a sixth floor room and there were a lot of steps be warned.

Anlage in sehr schöner Umgebung, aber offensichtlich dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Möblierung überholungsbedürftig, Türgriffe und Schlösser verschlissen. Bad mit Schimmel in den Fugen, Badewanne mit Abblätterungen, Schwimminpool unbeheizt und mit vielen fehlenden Fliesen. Frühstück hauptsächlich auf englische Bedürfnisse abgestellt. Kakalakenbefall.

The place is very out-dated. The rooms are not set out for families at all. The bedroom with the single beds is at the back of the apartment and the “sofa bed” is by the main entrance/exit door. We travelled with young kids so obviously we were not going to let them sleep by the door but the “sofa bed” was no where near big enough for 2 adults to sleep on. We had to ask for an extra single bed just so that we could take it in turns to sleep on that, as the sofa bed was absolutely horrific to sleep on. Upon arrival we were given a room that was totally unfit to sleep in. The bath was filthy, the chairs had holes in and all in all it was falling apart. We did get moved to another room, but i would say it was only better because the room before was SO bad. I absolutely would not stay here again. I get that its budget friendly, but the place is falling apart. By the end of our holiday our door handle had fell off?? We went bed and breakfast and i think the only positive was the breakfast. It was what you would expect, simple and something for everyone.

Cleaning lady called most days to clean. No frying pan or pot when we arrived late on Tuesday night and asked at reception. Next morning girl arrived with them. Very helpful at reception. Bellevue aquarius is our favourite place. Always try to stay here. I do think they should start to update the rooms a it. But still our favourite place to be

Having stayed a few times in lanzarote around PDC and PB this has been the worst accomodation. The shower bairly worked and was mouldy and dirty on all seals. The celing fan was old and coming of the ceiling and felt unsafe to use. Electric points were unusable. The door stuck closed and we is still using keys. The wifi "per room" is actually per device. The ladies toilets never had toilet paper, the towels were dirty. The food was the same every night and basic. A budget hotel yes but the standards wernt even to that.

Stayed here 25/03/2024 ..not the great place I've stayed ...with in apartment 113 ...dated when we came in electric wasn't on ,. Then learnt it was tripping all the time ... electrician had to come out to it ....then air dryer faulty...joke really !!

What to say about the BV Aquarius. On first arrival we were less than impressed. The complex is large. There are many steps, no lifts, no ramps. Impossible for anyone with mobility issues to navigate. Our room was a 1 bedroom apartment with a mattress set on top of a sofa in the lounge as a 3rd bed. This seriously impaired the space in the living area. The apartment furniture was basic to say the least and to be honest the whole apartment just lacked TLC. On a positive note the staff throughout the complex were excellent. Everyone was helpful. Maid service was daily excluding Wednesday and 3 changes of towels and once of bedding in 7 days was very welcome. The bar is excellent. Food is good and cheap but very tasty. Drinks are reasonably priced. The biggest issue however is the pool area. It’s huge with a massive terrace with lots of sunbeds. However the pool has lots of missing tiles on the pool sides and base. There is an area that is crumbling at the side of the pool and this was never swept up or cordoned off during our stay. Kids are there and there could easily be nasty accidents. Health and Safety would have a field day Back to the positives. The apartments are 2 minutes from the lovely harbour area. Lots of places to eat and bars. It’s a good 15 minute stroll to the Strip in PDC I’ve tried to give an honest review here. I honestly think with a spruce up this could be a fantastic resort. As is, we would not return. Sorry

Hotel is showing it's age and in need of up dating, that being said the room and grounds were spotless, the living room and bedroom had ceiling fans which helped keep rooms cool, towels changed every other day, beds very comfortable. Overall it's a budget hotel and is good value for money. We had a sixth floor room and there were a lot of steps be warned.

Fantastic location in the old town with an amazing 180 degree view of the harbour, sea and mountains. The food was great as was most of the staff. Cleanliness was very good. But what let it down was the horrible old furniture, curtains with holes in the blackout curtains. The worst of all was the old uncomfortable, worn out beds. The apartment was like something from the 1980s . The pool was fantastic, but the bar and restaurant badly need to be refurbished. Which is such a pity as the Venue commands the best views in the old town.

Arrived at the property early, so we were not expecting to be checked in till atleast 3. But to be then told to go away and come back “sometime around 4-4:20” with no definite time was unusual. We eventually got checked in, when we got to the room there was no electricity and the fuse box had shorted. Which we fixed ourselves, there were cockroaches everywhere (which I know sometimes can’t be helped) and there was no kettle in the room. We have stayed here before and it was great, but this time round it put us off.

Rooms very dated , food was probably the worst all-inclusive I every had . Stone cold fried eggs to cold rubber bacon even at 8am at start of service . No cooking of food to order .bar drinks very limited. bar snack you have to pay even if your all inclusive at same rate as self catering. . Not Suitable for elderly travellers due to the hundreds of stairs to get to your apartment with no service your showing a map at that’s it . Very dark at night in and around hotel . I had Human excrement out side my apartment with hundreds of flys . It took 3 hours and 3 visits to reception before it was removed. So don’t stay here also I found old town to be very dirty looking . And dark at night so don’t be alone .

Turned up early, the receptionist advised for us to have lunch, then he found us and said room ready. Two hours early. Room was a little dated, but clean. There are many steps. Food was basic, some was good. Others were cold, advised but nothing done about it. Cold next day. There was a microwave to heat it up though. So many of the dishes were full of bell peppers. No need for so many. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again but not all inclusive.

The cleanliness of the hotel you couldn’t complain very comfortable beds Daniel the entertainment guy was lovely but to be honest the other staff weren’t very pleasant if you have any mobility issues do not go to this hotel we had 84 steps to our room the breakfast was passable most days but lunch and dinner were awful we ate out every day

Great place to stay for Porter del Carmen old town and harbour. Accommodation is great value for money as a whilst the food in the restaurant was limited choice, it was fairly good for all inclusive buffet. We enjoyed our stay here but was mainly a base for us. Be warned that the property is on s hill with lots of steps so if you have mobility issues then this isn't the property for you. Otherwise give it a go, it's good value for money and plenty of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The main resort strip is about 15 minute walk.

Excellent location. Excellent views Easy access to old town and short walk to new The pool is good but loads of missing tiles make it look a bit shabby and could lead to accidental injury. I go to Aquarious often and will go back.

Accommodation is great value for money as a whilst the food in the restaurant was limited choice, it was fairly good for all inclusive buffet. We enjoyed our stay here but was mainly a base for us. Be warned that the property is on s hill with lots of steps so if you have mobility issues then this isn't the property for you. Otherwise give it a go, it's good value for money and plenty of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The main resort strip is about 15 minute walk.

Bufet pequeño, pero bien rico y variado, peraonal atento y agradable, instalaciones sencillo pero bien , se esta agusto , acorde al precio , las habitaciones pienso q necesitan reforma y estar mas cuidadas ...detalles desconchado techo del baño...enchufes descolocados en la sala...ventilador de aire acondicionado del dormitorio no funcionaba...limpieza regular , debajo de la cama no limpian y motas de polvo ...dos cucarachas en salon y dormitorio...se entiende q no es por falta de higiene....es pprque el apartamento estaba al ras de suelo Terraza pegada a jardin y estan en las plantas ...bichito habitual de las palmas...estancia corta de 5 dias pero comoda , quitando eso...gracias

Food isn’t good. Hotel is basic but you get what you pay for. Wanted a week on a lounger and that’s what we got. Shame we had to eat out though. Staff however very very friendly and helpful.

L'hôtel en lui même est bien, très bien situé, à côté de la mer. La nourriture servie en demi-pension n'a rien d'exceptionnelle mais fais parfaitement l'affaire pour un séjour à Lanzarote. Seul bémol, l'appartement est vieillot, pas mal de trace de rouille, et des tous petits insectes se balade dedans. C'est un peu moyen mais pour un court séjour mouvementé comme le notre, cela suffit largement !

Rooms very dated , food was probably the worst all-inclusive I every had . Stone cold fried eggs to cold rubber bacon even at 8am at start of service . No cooking of food to order .bar drinks very limited. bar snack you have to pay even if your all inclusive at same rate as self catering. . Not Suitable for elderly travellers due to the hundreds of stairs to get to your apartment with no service your showing a map at that’s it . Very dark at night in and around hotel . I had Human excrement out side my apartment with hundreds of flys . It took 3 hours and 3 visits to reception before it was removed. So don’t stay here also I found old town to be very dirty looking . And dark at night so don’t be alone .

Turned up early, the receptionist advised for us to have lunch, then he found us and said room ready. Two hours early. Room was a little dated, but clean. There are many steps. Food was basic, some was good. Others were cold, advised but nothing done about it. Cold next day. There was a microwave to heat it up though. So many of the dishes were full of bell peppers. No need for so many. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again but not all inclusive.

The cleanliness of the hotel you couldn’t complain very comfortable beds Daniel the entertainment guy was lovely but to be honest the other staff weren’t very pleasant if you have any mobility issues do not go to this hotel we had 84 steps to our room the breakfast was passable most days but lunch and dinner were awful we ate out every day

The cleaner would enter our apartment early morning (often before 9am) and ignore requests that we did not want to be disturbed. And her cleaning skills are lacking at the best of times. Entire place needs attention. Two others had lots of cockroaches in their apartments but we were lucky to avoid unwanted guests.

Positives - playa chica is a charming no frills beach, with a sheltered bay for swimming and the old town has lots of lovely bars and restaurants overlooking the harbour. Hotel Bellview Aquarius is a very old , way past its sell by date hotel . We paid extra for an adequate breakfast at a very good price. Most of what you want from a breakfast was there for very little money. It’s a positive. Now for the negatives - the apartment is extremely dated, has rattley windows and doors that needed a piece of paper to quieten from the strong winds this area has. We had heavy rain one night and our bedroom window leaked so much the whole bedroom floor was totally soaked, including any bedding that been over the edge of the beds . The kitchen is very basic, I take more with me when I go camping, and our electric hob gave off electric shocks when on. Many of the sockets didn’t work, the hot water was very limited, the bath is there, but not enough water to fill even half fill it. Many tiles in the bathroom were cracked, dirty repairs everywhere . Rusty plate rack above the sink storing plates .We managed to swap for a high room to get a nice view ( credit where it’s due), but beware- many rooms do not have a view and it’s definitely not for the weak knee people amongst us, lots of steps. Our second room was very slightly better, so there is some variation in quality I guess? There is currently some building work going on right opposite , and several closed down shops nearby.
