Caybeach Sun

We thoroughly enjoyed our self catering stay at Caybeach and it was very good value for money. It's situated about a 10 minute walk from the seafront. The pretty, clean, low rised apartments surround a couple of swimming pools, kids splash pool with slides and a small baby pool. Our apartment with huge balcony, overlooked them. There were plenty of sunloungers around pool areas. There's a small children's playpark, as well as football/ basketball pitch, situated behind the pool area. Also, an indoor pool and gym, which we didn't use. Our apartment was cleaned regularly, with a change of bed linen and towels every day. The beds were comfy and sofa bed large enough for 2 children. We enjoyed our breakfast for 6.50 euros each in the restaurant and there was plenty to choose from. (Most days, we had a simple breakfast in the apartment though.) The shop supplies most things, but as we hired a car, we bought most necessities from a larger local supermarket. The pool bar had a happy hour from 1pm until 2pm each day and staff there were very friendly. It was very quiet on the whole during the time we visited and although evening entertainment was put on most nights, no -one went down to watch. (I'm sure that's very different during school hoidays). Caybeach sun is a lovely, clean, good value for money hotel, great for kids and situated within easy walking distance of Playa Blanca beach, town, bars, shops. (For those wanting taxis, they cost 3.90 euros to the front).

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay .Good value for money, nice sized apartments with equipped kitchen with a lovely pool view .well maintained grounds & gardens, small supermarket on site that was reasonably priced and stocked .quiet area with nothing around so you have to walk 10/15 minutes to get to Playa blanca main area therefore I wouldnt recommend staying here if you are less mobile but if you dnt mind walking & are looking for a cheap base to be able to enjoy the surrounding areas of beautiful playa blanca its a good choice .

Indoor pool - adults only and only open 2-7pm, amazing pirate child pool but absolutely freezing so no kids in it leaving tiny paddle baby pool available for them and the warmer adult pool that all the kids had to use. Lifeguard will only allow over 7's in this pool. Breakfast acceptable, evening meal absolutely atrocious on both occasions we dined in. Only evening entertainment on a Sunday & Monday. 10 mins walk takes you to the main town with various restaurants and bars at a very reasonable price and 2 great live music bars.

Would recommend Caybeach to families and couples - apartments clean and spacious and 4 pools for adults and children. Good location- 10 mins from beach

We chose this hotel based on the price and location great for the beach and bars and restaurants they’re just a 10 minute walk away! The hotel is dated but generally clean on all areas pool is small but great for children with the slides and a smaller one for young children. We always found sunbeds The rooms again dated but quite spacious and a large wardrobe to fit all our clothes as a family of 4 The staff were friendly when we asked for things and the lifeguards were reasonable allowing inflatables in the pool. We didn’t try the breakfast or the pool bar but looked ok. We had a great week away great value for money!

The Location is placed very near to all amenities although if you didn’t know the area, it would not instantly seem so and you have to walk around the perimeter of the complex to get to the main street as there is no gate cut-through. For expediency I have bullet pointed the positives and the negatives and score at the end. Negatives; • No Washing machine. • Very basic cooking facilities i.e. Microwave & Electric Hob. • No broom or dustpan and brush or pegs to hang washing. • No iron without payment. • No water in fridge or any complimentary coffee/tea on arrival in apartment. • No pool towels, additional door key for each occupier, Room Safe access, Air con/ TV remote without payment or deposit and must be in cash. • TV is basic and had cobwebs behind. Unable to plug i.e. a fire stick in as only one socket for the TV. • Poor or no night entertainment. • No communal feel around bar area. • Towels not all changed. Positives; • Has three pools & play areas for kids if you have them. • Has a little shop in complex for fresh bread, milk, drinks and the other basics. • Reception open 24/7 • Astro turf 5- a- side Football pitch and Tennis court. • Gym/Indoor Pool & Sauna although not really used by anyone while we were there. • New Aldi supermarket about 10 minute walks away. • Comfortable apartment for short stay only. Air con in bedroom only. • Comfortable beds. Compare to other surrounding apartments we have stayed in before in this area, it’s quite poor. 6/10

Caybeach so lovely and easy to find Staff at reception Mr Andres very helpful and accommodating. He always have smile in his face and very approachable Me and my friends enjoyed our stay Two outdoor swimming pool, very clean and had loads of sun bed to use anytime We also loved the indoor heated pool and the sauna, thou the steam and Jacuzzi is out of order otherwise everything is good in this place Breakfast is fantastic, a lot of choice and the staff are very friendly special mention to Tomie… he was amazing. Thank you guys for the early breakfast before our flight.

Clean and tidy with helpful staff. Very convenient location and even an Aldi supermarket just iver the road ! Even an on site shop if you can't face a five minute walk. Sufficient sun loungers but always a ten o'clock rush for the best spot.

En 10 días no nos cambiaron las sábanas ni una vez, las toallas tienes que rogar para que te la cambien y si no la dejas en el piso botadas no te las cambian. Cosa que debería estar escrito. El piso solo barrer y ya y además siempre encontrábamos basura de los días anteriores. No mires bajo de la cama •No hay mucha privacidad porque las doñas que limpian entran en la habitación sin tocar ni siquiera. Me estaba duchando y han entrado sin problemas. Mala educación por parte de ellas. No botan la basura •Por cada cosa tienes que dejar un depósito, aire acondicionado, toallas etc •Por la toallas piscina en 10días solo pude cambiarlas 1 vez que nunca habían •No controlan utensilios de cocina, hemos hecho un café y resultó que la garrafa de vidrio estaba rota. Nosotros nos dimos cuenta después con peligro de ingerir vidrios. Pedimos cambio y nos llevaron una más rota que la otra •piscina con pocas sombrillas y antes de abrir a las10 ya la gente ocupaba los puestos a las9

Will definitely be back. The pools were lovely and sun loungers plentiful. Rooms were comfortable and staff couldn’t be nicer. It’s about 10 minute walk to the waterfront. The only downside is the extra charges for the tv and AC. Also there’s not much nighttime entertainment. It’s in a basement bar and there’s no real proper bar

Creo que la relación precio calidad es excelente. El personal es muy agradable. El complejo está a 10 min de la playa, está limpio, cuidado y los bungalós son muy agradables.Por poner un “pero” diría que estaría bien que proporcionasen un pequeño kit de limpieza en la cocina ya que no hay absolutamente nada con que fregar los platos. Una escoba y fregona también estaría bien. Volvería sin dudas

The grounds were lovely. The apartment was clean and well equipped. We used the indoor pool which was nice but needed a little maintenance here and there. Overall a good experience apart from noisy neighbours.

Geschrieben wird, dass Handtücher 3x Woche getauscht werden. Tatsächlich mussten wir zu Rezeption gehen um neue Handtücher zu holen, da dies noch nicht mal einmal erfolgte.

When we got to our apartment we found that the fridge had spilled orange juice in the bottom, which made us doubt exactly how clean the rest of the place was. Although the sheets did appear clean and the cleaning staff were friendly. All in all the resort is a little shabby. It's clearly an older resort that has been bought and rebranded as there are hints everywhere to the old name and logo. Appliances are old, showers were corroding in both apartments, our shower tray leaked onto the floor. A number of the pool loungers were broken so the back couldn't prop up. All in all, the resort was fine for sleeping and reasonably comfortable, just don't expect anything special. Oh and if you like privacy maybe avoid this one, a significant number of the apartments 'balconies' are just open at the front and have paths that run right next to them so you'll have people walking past as you try to relax and looking in your windows if you have the curtains open.

The hotel was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On the whole a very nice hotel just needed a bit of a refurbishment. I would stay there again.

The apartments are well laid out for privacy. The apartment was very light and spacious. It was clean. It was a little on the 'tired' side. The pool area is lovely. It doesn't have a great outlook but is very conveniently placed to walk to many places. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided plenty of choice and was generous as buffet style.

Room was basic and needs a good refresh, however was spotlessly clean. The whole hotel is tired but for what we needed was absolutely fine for a cheap last minute break.

Hotel ligger godt, men værelser er slidt og trænger til renovering. Indendørs pool skulle være opvarmet, men det var den ikke. Personale flinkt, men alt trænger til renovering.

Unfortunately bedroom had badly stained Wally and bad flaking paint behind curtains also had to get plug socket repair as it was hanging off wall room shouldn’t have been allocated like that may have been a young child staying in there

A great hotel with lovely apartments such good value for money. I wasn’t expecting much for what I paid and I was pleasantly surprised. Modern inside and comfortable, lovely quiet air con, wifi bit rubbish but not a problem. The pools were fab and kids slides a big hit! Drinks and snacks by the pool were reasonably priced too and a short walk to the front only about 8 or 9 minutes.

Our economy room was clean and had a great shower at the start of our stay with lots of hot water but for some unknown reason the shower become almost cold by the end of the week. Even though we had superb weather we still like a warm shower. Our room was basic but good enough for what we wanted as out most of the time. Would stay here again if on a budget. One of the rooms overlooking the pool would have been a nicer location i think.

very comfortable bed. very clean. good kitchen. good position and quiet most evenings. great size room. had to pay extra to use safe and TV so didn't bother.

We booked this hotel three weeks before our trip, got it for an amazing price, and I was shocked how good the hotel was. Although it's not central and a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, the hotel provided entertainment through the day and onto the night, the staff for amazing and we had such a lot of fun with them. The hotel is spotless and well maintained, the pools are gorgeous, my son was delighted with the football pitch and arcade and we spent a lot of time there. Playa Blanca is a beautiful town, so chilled and relaxed, however its a lot more expensive, but well worth it. Only negative for hotel, it wasn't cleaned as often as I'd of liked, had to ask for towels twice and a brush wasn't provided in rooms so it's hard to keep floors clean.

We only had one issue with the hairdryer it started to smoke when I turned it on, we told reception and within 10 minutes they had a maintenance guy out to fix the problem. We got a better hairdryer installed and he didn't even take 15 minutes! The cleaners were in every day and always made sure we had enough towels. All in all we had an amazing time staying here with our little girl thanks to all the staff at Cay Beach Sun Hotel. We will be back!

Perfect spot for Playa Blanca, as its about half way between the main town area and the marina. Lovely room. Was cleaned everyday. Staff were friendly. Was quiet and didnt hear noise from neighbours. Wifi worked really well in our apartment. Lovely pools, although they were a bit chilly! Would recommend. Stayed self catering so cant comment on food, but loads of restaurants and takeaways to choose from in Playa Blanca.

Had a lovely week at Caybeach Sun, a good location away from the main part of town but within easy walking distance of the beach, bars and resturants. Well laid out, basic accommodation (but had everything you needed) it was a bit tired looking BUT excellent value for money. The staff were always friendly and the "supermarket" on site was very useful. They did charge a "deposit" a couple of euros for an extra key, TV remote, safe and air conditioning - we didn't bother as it wasn't necessary.

We stayed here 2 nights, very clean, beds very comfortable. Reception staff very friendly and helpful- never used the pools. We looked at the breakfast but we thought there was not enough choice so we made our own in the apartment and saved 7 euros per person per day.

Great pool area, useful grocery shop on site. Wi-Fi v poor , breakfast no real flavour .

The apartments are well laid out for privacy. The apartment was very light and spacious. It was clean. It was a little on the 'tired' side. The pool area is lovely. It doesn't have a great outlook but is very conveniently placed to walk to many places. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided plenty of choice and was generous as buffet style.
