At check in, we noticed that the glass bulbs above the counter were very dusty but other than that staff was adequate and the building looked nice. Went to our room and immediately had issues with our key card to which they reprogrammed it. Room looked nice although smelled musty, the bathroom floor was dirty, toilet was loose, and the toilet paper roll was broke. Our key cards continued to only work 1 time and then staff had to reprogram them. They seemed irritated with us as we continued to not be able to get in our room the entire stay. We told them that we believed the door reader was not working right and they blew us off and just continued to reprogram our original keys. I used the gym which 1 treadmill did not work, there was no air conditioning on nor could you turn it on and the gym itself seemed dirty as well as the pool. The pool had green stuff on the sides of it and neither the gym nor pool had towels available and I felt bothersome when I asked for a towel. With a statement from the gentleman “Don’t you have towels in your room”? As I stood there in my bathing suit. As well as I had to have my key card reprogrammed to get into pool area. From our room we could hear the outside door as it was squeaky and was opened constantly throughout the night. We woke up to smells of skunk in our room and soon realized that someone was sitting outside partaking in marijuana. Also noticed a staff member using marijuana prior to shift start. Asked for corporate #, was told no.

The indoor pool was closed, which is why we booked this property. Everything else matched our expectations!

The room was not ready for 3 pm we had to come back after the football game to check in . 1st floor ice machine was not working , the pool was out of service. In our room- the remote for the tv was missing , the climate control was turned off in the room and the coffee machine had a missing piece , so no in room coffee in the AM . We heard at least 3 different dogs barking from 3 different rooms during late evening . We were on the ground floor . On the flip side the room was clean .

The pool is not working during our stay which is very disappointing as kids looking forward to swim if we knew ahead of time I can able to change my booking .I can able to book hotel without pool for cheaper rates.

Pool isn’t working. Extremely empty and old elevator

It obvious that there has been a recent attempt at remodel or updating....not very good. The elevator didn’t work at times. The manager resembled Gilligan...not competent. The breakfast was presented poorly...the eggs were gross. Our bathroom lighting was so dark....hardly worth having...the closet was missing the mirror door...but brakets were still on the wall. The deadbolt didn’t work....no spring loaded hinges on the door. The ice machine didn’t work on the second floor....it was just really bad all around.

Stay was quiet. Pool was closed which was a disappointment. Breakfast was ok. Some sausages were uncooked and the eggs looked like they had been sitting for awhile when we went down 15 minutes after breakfast was open.

The door to the bathroom didn’t close, which was very inconvenient because I have small kids. The pool was also closed, which was a major disappointment because I had told my kids for weeks we were going to stay in a hotel with a pool.

The pool was closed, so don’t book this hotel thinking it will be open, come to find out it’s been closed since 2022. The hotel itself is grungy and needs a good scrub down. The front desk staff is less than helpful (given they probably are tired of the same questions and the same managerial given answers) they had house keepers (though she was the best thing about our stay with her pleasant demeanor and smile) come get towels because they didn’t have enough for their guests. All in all save your money and put it towards a better hotel! I’ve never had an issue with this chain, and I’m sure the corporate would be ashamed.

From the outside, the hotel appeared new and well-maintained. However, as soon as I stepped inside, I was immediately hit with a strong smell of marijuana, despite the hotel being advertised as a non-smoking establishment. As I made my way to the room, I was shocked by the level of uncleanliness—the carpets were filthy, and upon inspecting the bed, I found hair all over the sheets and pillows, which were not only dirty but also stained yellow. The overall condition of the room was unacceptable. I was so dissatisfied that I checked out just an hour after arriving. To make matters worse, the hotel refused to issue a refund, making this experience even more disappointing. I will never be staying at this hotel chain again.

Visibly dirty blankets, staff refused to replace as they said they have no extras. Didn’t get our washed blankets back until well after midnight with a child, broken elevator person was stuck inside and staff refused to help. Disgusting place, stay away!!!

Absolutely the most disgusting, filthy hotel I have ever stayed in. From the bedding to the carpet to the bathroom and the scary gross shower floor. La Quinta should either do an overhaul of this place or tear it down.

It looks nice from the outside but that’s about it. It was dirty with broken tile near the side entrance. The bathroom sink was not connected to the counter top, the tub was dirty, baseboard was missing near the bed and the carpet had stains on it. I’ve stayed in LaQuinta on several occasions. This felt more like a cheap motel that charges too much.

Room had bed bugs had bites all over when I woke up. Sheets had other peoples hair as if it was already slept in and new sheets weren’t put on. There was a booger smeared on headboard. Over all place was very dirty and disgusting DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Stay away from this hotel

This property has potential, even though the area is unfavourable; however LOTS of deep cleaning is required. Linens are stained, bed springs are poking out, shower floor is filthy, elevator is stainless steel and dirty everywhere. Late evening we could smell weed smoke from another room. Understanding that there are things that can’t be changed (the location/other guests) the things that can be changed (cleanliness) is severely lacking. Pool is closed. We are relatively low maintenance, however would NEVER consider staying here again, we’re glad it was only a quick one night stay. When we shared the feedback upon checkout, the front desk simply said, “oh, I’ll let the manager know”… this shows the general approach to this property.

Our first room didn’t look like it was cleaned. The bed had hair on it and dirt. The pillow cases were dirty.

The room was not the cleanest. The bed linens and pillow cases were stained. The curtains were stained. The chair in the room was stained and had a cigarette burn in it. The toilet filled continuously all night. The overall appearance of the hotel was run down. Drop ceiling tiles were sagging, carpet in hallways was stained, the elevator was filthy, and the ice machines didn’t work. When I got off the elevator to my floor there was a strong smell of marijuana in the hallway. I was only staying one night otherwise I would have requested to cancel any remaining nights I had and sought other accommodations.

We were in Room 219. The sink stopper did not work - it was suck in the down position. I used a knife to get it open. The door hinges need lubrication - the squeak sounded like a dog barking. We did not like the fact that the bathroom fan was not separate from the light.

The first disappointment was that the door to the room didn't lock after driving 14 hrs. This becomes a major issue. Breakfast was edible but not memorable or tasty. The room keys kept loosing the charge. The toilet is not secured properly to the floor and rocks back and forth AND the bathroom sink fell out of the vanity. We paid full price for all these issues and didn't even get a better room with a sink.The owner has a lot of repairs that need to be done, and this room should not have been billed at full price.

Overall very outdated hotel.

Poor water pressure. Wifi was very slow - had to hotspot my phone (Wifi was less than 100 kb/sec (yes kilobyte) when I tested it using the internet speed test).

Comfortable beds. Breakfast was ok. Key card to door worked half of the time.

Shower pressure was really really low. Walls are thin. Otherwise great place to stay and very clean.

Modern look and clean. Room was okay. Fan in bathroom was loud. Not much in the area as far as walking distance but perfect distance from the City of Buffalo if you’re looking to stay somewhere close but not right in the city.

Terrible! Slow front desk only one person on a Friday evening. Pool was closed which was frustrating as it was a main reason we picked this hotel for the kids. This should have been indicated prior to booking. There were no towels or toiletries in our room. We had to go get them ourselves at the front desk. Our keys didn’t work and had to be redone. Room was just ok. The breakfast was bare bones, no fruit, only one waffle maker so long line up, eggs were powdered garbage, and everything was empty for stretches before it got refilled even the coffee. We ended up getting Tim’s when we left. Again breakfast included was a main reason for picking this hotel. Rating on hotels.com was 8.8, this place is a 5 at best!

Was refused service for asking about why there was no pool even though it was advertised. they didn’t book let us in to our room and cancelled our room without telling us. mind you, we drove a long way to want to finally relax on our room. staff was super immature and unprofessional, and treated us with disrespect. Made very snarky and rude comments about our family and tried to backbite in the back. dont stay at La Quinta inn it was dirt cheap for a reason

I stay was ok. Comfortable bed. Hotel has some signs of wear and tear. Biggest issue was in the morning. I went down to the lobby for coffee at 5:30 as I had early meetings to get to. Staff was very rude. They told me multiple times that breakfast wasnt open. I explained that i was getting coffee and not eating. They continued to insist that breakfast wasnt' open. I wasn't sure why they were being so rude as i explained a couple times that i was only getting coffee. They didn't stop me from getting coffee but continued to repeat that breakfast wasnt open. Maybe they didn't want me in the lobby area? I couldn't tell why they were so rude. I assumed they had a rough overnight shift or something. Not a fun way to start the day honestly.

This location is undergoing some management changes and they were not really ready to accommodate visitors with extra towels, sheets and such. Linens were limited but housekeeping did pick them up and washed and delivered them once they were dried. So they were trying. Toilet in room wouldn’t refill with water so we had to fill it with cups of water just so we could flush! Other than that it was a pleasant stay

The staff was very nice and helpful.

The desk host - Dillon - was fabulous. My remote did not work - despite his valiant efforts of exchanging - and calling management nothing worked. Had to change on TV - very annoying. No compensation - but a bottle of water. I was late at breakfast. He offered to make me something. He was very attentive and working alone. I wish you could turn the bathroom light on without the fan turning on. The bathroom was clean but smelled moldy- I thought it might be the shower curtain. The bed very comfortable and I like that there was a refrigerator in the room. Overall a good stay - just ANNOYING about the tv

I booked my reservation as I was escaping another horrible hotel that was too awful to stay in so I was checking in late to La Quinta but they were ready for me. The woman at the desk was very friendly and kind. Check in was quick and easy. I look forward to staying there again. Thank you La Quinta. You turned a really bad night completely around!

I stayed two nights on separate days of the week as an in-between of a road trip. I specifically booked the hotel room because it said it slept five. The room only included two beds and the bathroom faucet was unattached, though it did work. When I asked the front desk how the room slept five, she apologized and offered a roll away at no charge. I explained that I would be back in a few days and she said she would make a note for that stay for the same condition. Upon return, there was no note, so I explained the situation to the new staff who initially agreed. In this room, the toilet didn't work and had to be flushed manually. Later in the evening, after giving us a roll away, the staff said he checked in with the previous staff who said I lied about getting the roll away for free and that she, instead, forgot to charge me the first night. I reiterated the story, but he said he would have to charge me for the roll away. I decided not to argue and just not return to this hotel. When I got back from my trip, I realized that he also charged me the roll away for the first night without my permission. Horrible experience here. Would never stay in a La Quinta again.

Absolutely awful. If zero stars were an option I would do that. When we first arrived we were told our room wasn’t ready yet and to come back at a certain time, we came back at that time and then upon checking in we received an eye roll and told well luckily we have one room ready. Then our key stopped working the very next day and when I went to the front to get a new one we were told “aren’t you checking out today anyways?” Which we were not, we were 1 night into a 3 night stay. Then the WiFi was so awful it was unusable and after waiting for 20 minutes at the front desk for someone I was told there was nothing wrong with the WiFi and no one had ever had any problems with it and the employee himself in fact watches Netflix in the back all the time! No wonder I had to wait for 20 minutes to get helped! We had 5 people and when we asked for wash clothes we were given 2 and told there were no more. So in an entire hotel you only have 2 clean washclothes? Guess your laundry person also watches Netflix all the time. The breakfast attendant was MIA for most of breakfast time and we had to ask the front desk person for more milk after waiting for 30 minutes. The breakfast attendant then popped up out of nowhere and sat down eating and talking to some other employee for the remainder of breakfast. Avoid this hotel at all costs. If somewhere else costs a few more dollars a night I assure you it is worth the extra expense to avoid this joke of an establishment.

Sketchy part of town but wasn’t bad for an overnight stay passing through Buffalo. Bathroom needs some serious attention.

Easy to get to for the bills game and felt safe!

The hotel is located in kinda a transitional/industrial area. The driveway is easy to miss, especially at night, the lighting could be better for the entrance. Our room on the highway side had some slight road noise, mostly from large trucks in the area, but it really wasn't bad at all. Otherwise, it was very quiet overnight in the area and it was very safe location. Overall, it was a very good, affordable stay and good choice. I'm expect we will stay here again on our next trip.

Overall, the hotel was decent, but the swimming pool was definitely green tinged, and the breakfast was lackluster. Room was clean and beds were comfortable though!

The hotel was great for a one night stay after the Bills game. The breakfast was lacking. I expected a little more considering the price of the room.

Shower was dirty...and the breakfast was very busy and all the food was gone.

The first room they gave us, had such a noisy bathroom pan. It was like a train! So we asked for a different room. The second one was not much better. But it was acceptable. The free breakfast ended at 9 AM. Which I have never seen before! That is extremely early to end breakfast. So, after being out late at night, we did not even get a chance to have any breakfast or not even a coffee. The bed was very comfortable, although the pillows were not comfortable at all.

The beds were clean and comfortable. Fridge was dirty, the shower was dirty, the air vent to the bathroom was caked in dirt. Just very gross. The ice machine was broken and the pool was not down. Over the room was very expensive foe what little we dis get. I can say breakfast was so good. Waffles were amazing!

The stay was overall alright but there were a couple of things I would've preferred to work for us. For starters the pool was out of service which was a big bummer since 1 day out the 3 were planned for swimming. Breakfast was hot and limited, however every 10 minutes we required a refill and that needed us to call the staff, which wasn't the best experience.

Breakfast time was way to short on Sunday. I absolutely love this hotel. It's really very nice!
