Their parking situation is horrible I was parked near the parking spaces by the lobby door they made me move my truck to go to the oversized parking and drive through a gate when I got there they had the parking spaces blocked with all those orange cones so I had to go underground then they don't have an elevator that goes from the underground parking to the lobby or to your room so I had to carry my oversized luggage up a flight of concrete stairs and then roll my luggage around to the lobby door and then take an elevator to my room then they have the nerve to charge $19 a night for parking ridiculous their underground parking is dark and I fell unsafe on a Saturday at 11:00 at night and their underground parking is not secure I saw some random guy coming towards me walk right past me and then go out to the street and he did not work there he just was passing through cuz they're entrances and exits the underground parking is not secure anybody can walk through

We were super bummed that the pool was out of service. Also the mattress on the pull out sofa was in pretty rough shape. But other than that we had a good experience. Thanks!

Parking was tricky but the staff was accommodating. Parking garage is super tight and not a lot of spaces. Hotel was super easy to get to off the highway. Staff was friendly. The hotel needs an update. Room was comfortable but bathrooms really need some attention. Shower was stained and wall paper peeling in bathroom. Could use a refresh.

After the first night, everything went well. Upon check-in, the room I paid for was not available. My family was assigned to a room for the disabled. very different to what was agreed too. The pool was under construction and the breakfast was restricted to the number of hotel guest. i;e., some entrees were not available...

Property was convenient to restaurants and stores. The breakfast was okay. The pool was small and got crowded quickly. Also, most of the gym equipment wasn’t working. The hotel front desk staff was excellent. Housekeeping was absent my entire four night stay. On our check out morning housekeeping entered our room around 7 am without knocking.

The property was dirty. The carpets throughout were heavily stained. The elevator floors were also very dirty. The buffet breakfast was on. They had more condiments available than food. Finally, I specifically booked this hotel for the pool, and the pool was not available. It’s being renovated. It would have been nice and considerate of the company to post that on their website!!! I was traveling with small children.

Was really annoyed you have to pay $19 just to park at the hotel. Also if you have a 250 pickup or something as tall as that parking sucks because you can't fit in their parking garage. We had to park in the driveway cause there was no parking available. Hotel it self was clean and breakfast was good.

Clean, most staff friendly and responsive. Rooms are a little ran down (broken sliding door to bathroom and siding in wall in hallway and inside room. No possible late check out by even a minute. Pool and gym nice. Dining area cleans and really good variety of breakfast items accompanied with a nice view.

Expedia way over charged for parking. I paid $45 parking. At checkin the hotel offered $19 parking. The pool was closed and I have 3 disappointed kiddos.

Very convenient downtown location. A little expensive for the area and you pay for parking separately but otherwise a very nice hotel. Nice, clean well maintained pool and gym. The breakfast on the 2nd floor was great with lots of items and plenty of dining space and a nice view.

Or room appeared to not be cleaned prior to our stay. The shower was dirty. The sheets had a spot of blood in them. The window ledge had paint chips all over from the falling ceiling paint. Our vehicle was broke into **in the paid parking right outside the main lobby doors! We requested extra pillows and were told by staff they had no idea where to find any. We requested extra towels and we found a tray bag outside our door with 2 extra towels and 5 bath floor mats no hand towels or wash cloths!! Overall I’m very very disappointed with our 2 night stay in a very dirty room

The mattress to the pull out couch had a lot of stains and marking as if it was bed bugs on the bed. Bed was very dirty. Also, the shower was disgusting.

Do not stay here. Marriott should be embarrassed. 1.) Parking is $19 per night. 2.) The hotel is dated and dirty. Carpet stains and torn hallway chandeliers. 3.) The area around the hotel is sketchy. 4.) It is a very noisy hotel - street noise and hallway noise. 5.) Breakfast is included. However, given the condition of the hotel, we opted to eat elsewhere. 6.) Our hotel room always felt damp - carpet, sheets, comforters - no matter how much we cranked the AC. 7.) The shower floor was stained and dirty, there was a nice crack in the bathroom sink, and the mini refrigerator had water sitting in it. 8.) The front desk staff were friendly, nice, and helpful. But could be a bit more professional and polished. 9.) There was barely a lobby. Overall, it was a subpar experience.

Breakfast was not all that great not too many selections to choose from. The room was very dusty.

Had an elevator out of order. Wait times for the elevator were insane. Our toilet kept not wanting to flush due to the refilling mechanism getting stuck. Room wasn't as clean as I expected. Staff was not very friendly. Over all I felt that it was overpriced for the experience

The location of the hotel was very convenient, and on-site parking was available at a reasonable rate. One oddity is that the hotel itself doesn’t have an ice machine—instead, you have to go through the connecting Fairfield Inn to access ice machines on floors 4, 5, or 6. The trek to find ice felt a bit like a maze, which was definitely a downside. Cleanliness-wise, the hotel wasn’t what I’d call dirty, but it wasn’t up to a 5-star standard either. The carpet was tearing in spots, there were noticeable stains in the hallways, and the mats around the room’s wall art were torn—small things, but they added up. Another downside was the limited access to stairs. With only two elevators for a 9-story building, being told the stairs were "exit only" (even just to go to breakfast on floor 2) was frustrating. That said, the staff were great—friendly, responsive, and accommodating. When a fire alarm went off around 10 p.m., the general manager (I believe) and other staff handled the situation well, calmly directing guests and keeping everyone informed. Overall, it was a decent stay. The experience didn’t quite justify the higher price tag for the weekend, and that likely influenced my rating. If the rate had been more in line with the quality, I might have reviewed it more favorably.

The room had drip stains & splatters all over the walls…on pretty much every wall in the room & bathroom, including on the headboards & the bottoms of the headboards that show along the wall near the center bedside table. If your guests can clearly see the grime, housekeeping should at least spray & wipe it. Even the lampshades & stands had stains on them! The lounge chair in the room was absolutely disgusting…it had questionable stains & major wear & tear all over it - I had to cover it with a sheet just to utilize it & not feel like I was getting dirty. The chair should honestly be thrown out it was that bad! The carpet has also seen way better days; there were stains ALL over the place & didn’t look vacuumed when we arrived. There were leftover tiny black rubberbands all over the floor & under the beds. The tub drain was slow to drain & at times the toilet wouldn’t flush…this was with barely any TP in the toilet as well! 1 of the lightbulbs in the bathroom was burnt out when we arrived & the soap dish was all chipped. The tub had stains coming from the overflow drain that made it look dirty. Water pressure in the shower was poor. Just outside the entrance to the hotel there were people regularly asking for money or just pacing back & forth who looked drugged out; it didn’t always feel safe unless their security guard was present. All elevators in the hotel were very slow & the pool is way smaller than it looked in the pictures. Friendly staff but would not book again.

Bed was like sleeping on a rock and flat pillows. Noisy place as well.

The air conditioning was excessively loud and the noise from the street was too loud in our room.

Family stay for a Louisville vacation. Overall it was a decent hotel. Service was good, location was within walking distance of most attractions, rooms were clean, and parking was easy. I only had two minor complaints. First, we stayed in a king bed room which had a sleeper sofa. It was very uncomfortable even for our 6 year old. There is no way an adult would get a good night's sleep on that. Second, the breakfast was not the best. Especially on the weekend when it was busy, they were a little slow restocking some of the hot dishes and the quality of the food was not as good as breakfasts offered at other hotels. Not bad, but I've definitely had better. Overall it was a good hotel that I would stay at again as long as the price is right.

The hotel was clean and quite spacious. However the fan in the bathroom was very loud and there was no way to turn it off. The fridge also had a clear glass front with a light that stayed on all night so it just wasn’t a perfect night sleep. The beds were comfortable though and rooms very nice.

Nothing wrong with the room or staff. But, two large, sliding, opaque glass doors for the bathrooms (one for shower amd sink oyher for toilet and sink) directly in front of tye beds meant if one person was in the bathroom, the whole room was lit up. I don’t like opaque glass doors or sliding doors. No trash can in the room. Plenty big enough rooms but couldn't sit on the couch and see the TV.

The room was great. Plenty of space for a little work then rest. The only downside was the world smallest sink

Great staff! Complimentary hot cocoa bar every night… the kids loved this! Spacious room that made having 6 people in one room feel comfortable! Bonus points for having separate toilet room from shower room. Would definitely choose to stay here again!!

We reserved a king size bed they gave us 2 queens. WiFi wasn’t working to good during our stay.

Breakfast was good and the staff was very nice, quick and helpful. The room was okay. It’s obvious this is an older building. Everything was kept very clean. Our biggest complaint was the set up of the bathroom. The toliet is separate from the shower room but has the tiniest sink and the water just didn’t have great pressure. Unfortunately the shower leaked as it was a glass door walk in and those always leak. My husband felt it deserved a 3star not 4.

We LOVED Ashley at the front desk!!! She ROCKed the front desk as one of the best ever!! The main manager was sweet too with accommodating some white wine and taking time for me when there was a full lobby of people. The security officer to take time to walk across street when I would have been scared of the area. Going back to Ashley… she went above and beyond for my friend getting her a room close to us and understanding so nicely when we had an Expedia problem that was so nice. Super sweet!!

My car had gotten broke into, but the front desk and maintenance staff went over and beyond to help me. The staff cleaned all of the broken glass out of the car, helped me make important phone calls, and even called outside services to get my window fixed.

Terrible. Rude checkin and checkout staff! I did not get the room I reserved and they didn’t make it right. They checked me in, sent to room and I called them upon entry. They said no king room available, some kind of bogus excuse with room issues but we “upgraded to a queen double”. That was a downgrade since I booked a king room. Won’t go back to this property snd won’t recommend.

It’s really a worst experience with this hotel under Marriott brand and made me doubt the quality of Marriott hotels. The front desk guest supervisor/manager is quite stubborn. Although she could not identify the north/south/ east/ west directions,she insisted that she was correct and ignored the guest’s request. I cannot believe how Marriott hired this person as a manager and she will definitely ruin the brand’s reputation. The housekeeping staff pretended they couldn’t understand and speak English as trained so the guest couldn’t ask for their help. Does their service follow Marriott “Spirit to Serve” tradition as they always mentioned? Please avoid staying in this hotel if you don’t want to waste your time and money.

Staff was very friendly. We arrived close to midnight and there is a security guard that stays in the parking garage all night so we felt very safe. The rooms were clean and set up well. Hot breakfast included and it’s a full breakfast with many options.

Property knew that it's emergency alarm system is faulty. No notice was given to guests and the fire alarm went off evacuating the buidling two times in the middle of the night. No staff members helping people out or back into building. No notice given of when we could re-enter the building. This occured multiple days in a row. Staff members were offering either free parking or 1000 points for the inconvenience which is equivvalent to $10 or less. This was an absolutely ridiculous offer considering the inconvenience, lack of sleep and lack of information from staff.

Took over 40 minutes to check in- got there only to be given a room that was already occupied. Was then told the room type I had pick and paid extra for was sold out and was given a random room which was a downgrade from what I paid for. Staff was not friendly at all was rude and annoyed that I had booked with a 3rd party.

The front desk staff was excellent. Housekeeping was nonexistence for my four night stay with the exception of entering my room one early morning unannounced. Most of the gym equipment was inoperable. The location is perfect for walking and exploring downtown. The parking was onsite and convenient to the hotel. The breakfast staff were friendly and kept the food stocked. Overall a great location.

Experience was great. Great hotel with awesome staff. We had an issue with our payment because we were out of state and the desk attendant was so understanding and helped us figure it out.

Convenient location to walk to any downtown area. The only negative was the amount of pan handlers around the area.

Our stay was great! We were in Louisville to see P!NK and they welcomed us with a pink cocktail. They were quick and efficient with check-in as they were busy getting everyone checked in to enjoy the night. We were within blocks of food, drinks, and the KFC Yum Center. Great location.

Perfect location if you are doing the bourbon trail. Main Street is walkable. Easy freeway access. Breakfast is included. Parking is half what I see elsewhere

The location is second to none, especially if the destination is downtown. A bit noisy due to the nearby highway (my room faces the highway).

Parking was easy and convenient. Location was near Whiskey Row so we walked to restaurants and the Louisville Slugger museum. It was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast location was very nice but the food was average for a free breakfast.

Room was fine. Staff was fine. Area was sketch.

Overall this hotel was average. The room was nice and staff were good. Our biggest issue was breakfast that was supposed to end at 10. We went at 9 and they were already out of pancake mix to make waffles, muffins were gone, the sausage was under cooked, and the coffee was empty for almost 30 minutes (we finally went to the main desk and got coffee there.)

The young gentleman that checked us in was absolutely amazing. I wish I had gotten his name, I’ve worked in hotels in Las Vegas for over 20yrs. I would never give anyone with that kind of job a hard time. But it’s dealing with the public that’s becoming more and more challenging nowadays. He handled himself very professionally. You have an awesome employee. I just thought he deserved some recognition. At exam time the hotel was very clean and the breakfast option were great, you would be my first choice if I needed to stay again. Margie Godbee

Everything about the service and room was great. The bathroom door lock was broken, but no big deal. The only thing that was lacking was the breakfast. The only “hot” food was eggs that were chewy and cold. The oranges were all mushy and the variety of other food was lacking. But overall a nice place to stay.

Hotel was clean , Staff was nice ! Only thing I did not like was the breakfast .same options everyday . No real waffle maker. The English muffins in the bin were molded. Other than that nice hotel .
