Set over two floors, there are four comfortable bedrooms, on a split level first floor, with the twin bedroom on the other side of the staircase, two with steps to en-suite showers and a family bathroom. There is a well-equipped kitchen, with everything you need to make the most of the dining area. There are two sitting rooms, one with an open fire and the other with a woodburner, offering the chance to sit and enjoy the ambience of this charming farmhouse. Outside, you can sit in the enclosed patio garden and enjoy a relaxing cup of tea whilst planning your day's adventures. The town of Aberystwyth with the sweep of the Edwardian promenade and pier, is a perfect venue to be mesmerised by the murmurations of the resident starlings. Alternatively, why not take a ride on the funicular railway to marvel at the Camera Obscura? You are ideally placed to explore the wonderful coastline of Cardigan Bay from the town with various sandy beaches stretching in both directions with New Quay to the South and Borth to the North. The area offers numerous outdoor activities such as dolphin and wildlife spotting boat trips, river and sea fishing. Slightly further afield, to the north, you will find the pretty vibrant market town on Machynlleth, with the local Ynys Hir Nature Reserve and the start of the Snowdonia National Park. To the south is the harbour town of Aberaeron, with its pretty multi-coloured terraced houses. In the Aberaeron area there are numerous National Trust properties including the long stretch of the sandy beach at Penbryn, and the working farm and John Nash designed property at Llanerchaeron. A perfect opportunity to enjoy a traditional Welsh farmhouse, surrounded by undulating countryside and ideal for families and friends looking both for a peaceful setting, close to evening entertainment and a diverse landscape. The University town of Aberystwyth, on the west coast of Wales, offers a wide variety of shops, restaurants, pubs, tea rooms, museums, cinema, the National Library of Wales and a promenade on the sea front. The scenic 20 mile cycle route and footpath on the Ystwyth Trail, linking Aberystwyth to Tregaron, follows a wonderful woodland and river.
