The hotel appears to have been recently updated inside each room. The decor is pleasing. Outside still needs a little sprucing up, but there is a pleasant pool area to sit even if you don’t want to swim. However street traffic is noisy. Staff are very friendly. Rickey’s restaurant across the street is a sports bar. We ate dinner there. Service was excellent. Ultimate nachos were so good. Prices were very reasonable. This is a good stop pre-cruise with free shuttle from the airport and to Port Everglades.

If you need a shuttle from the airport call them. It’s a lot further away than what I was expecting. The shuttle service to the cruise port was very convenient. The area is noisy. The property was decent. The bed was nice but the comforters looked overused and needs updated.

First of all we the wife and I got there Saturday afternoon the place was baricatid with yellow construction tape for a job that was going to be performed on Monday so there was no parking around the side or the back of the place plus the back of the place was flooded the only thing I liked was that the room was clean never again

It was an easy & quick check-in and out. The cleaning staff were good. I did find it incovinient that they didn't have an ice machine to get ice for our waters and juice.

Property on noisy busy road. Building older so not worth $100 a night. Limited outlets, water pressure low in shower. Was nice to have frig and microwave. Stayed Thursday night thur Sunday am. Guests loud Saturday night, breakfast was wiped out early daily and messy by 7:40 and 1 counter guy busy at desk until like 8:30. Staff needed for food area refill. No wifi, or weak, had to use mobile. Didn't feel safe always saw ppl walking or standing about, not sure if guests more like bus stop ppl. Felt like I had bed bugs when I checked out..

When we flew in we were suppose to be picked up with the shuttle…called the hotel and was hung up on 3 times before we were able to talk to anyone…setting up to go to the cruise ship went ok…on the way back following cruise we wound up staying at the Rodeway Inn as it was cleaner and friendlier.

We checked in on 7/26/25 and were in the room for less than an hour before frantically packing up and leaving. There were multiple bed bugs in the headboard of the bed. See pictures. We went to the front desk to let him know of the situation and I asked for a refund. He told me only the manager could issue a refund and I would receive an email from them. I still have not received any communication from them, and the charge went through on my card. DO NOT STAY HERE. In addition to the infestation of bed bugs, the building is just outdated and the room was dirty. The TV also did not work.

Rooms were decent. I had to change rooms because the linen on one bed had hair and crumbs, and a bug was on the other bed. There was a stale mildew smell in both rooms. I didn’t like that my room was near one of the doors that leads to the parking lot. There was a lot of in/out by others and each time the door would slam which was annoying. There was a strong smell of marijuanna present.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a property. The front desk was unnecessarily rude and the room was intolerable. There were unwashed towels, bugs on the wall, food and fingernails under the bed, etc. The room had a strong smell of mildew and everybody that was in this room (for less than an hour) began having nasal and respiratory issues within 24 hours of being present at this property.

Victor and the other 2 men who worked the desk were very nice and very helpful. We had an issue with our television. It was taken care of immediately. Cleamliness was a bit of an issue for me. The refrigerator had things from a previous guest still in it. The floor needs a really good scrubbing. The bottoms of our feet were black from walking barefoot. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were very nice.

My husband became ill on our drive to the hotel; when we arrived approximately an hour and a half before check-in, the clerk informed us that we would have to leave and come back at 3:00 PM No early check-in. The room smelled like some type of disinfectant - the strong odor lingered throughout the night and was even noticeable the next morning. There are no extra blankets or pillows in the room and My husband had a miserable night and I did as well because the mattress had a huge dip in the center. I did not want to disturb my husband so I did not notify the front desk of any of these issues. This morning when I went to check out, the property has a door that locks behind you and I had to twice ask somebody to open the door for me. Also, the so-called continental breakfast just did not look appetizing at all. The sausage patties were positively grey and I wasn’t about to eat that. The food didn’t look fresh at all and I left there with only a cup of coffee. I really don’t feel like we got the value for our money for that one night stay- the rate seemed high for a Monday night. If you need to get a good nights rest, don’t stay at this hotel, the rooms face Hollywood Boulevard, and you can hear every single bit of street noise! We traveled with our little dog and her portable kennel, and she growled and barked at every little noise throughout the night. The one thing that I liked was that there is small and convenient doggie park.

They need to streamline there check in process. Had to go thru a lot of steps to get checked in. The rooms were nice but the AC unit in the room was controlled by a remote that made it difficult to get the temp you wanted, and the fan speed you wanted.

We drove to the property 25hrs nonstop from Oklahoma we got there at around 5:30AM we had a 20footer truck and they didn’t even let us check in because of the truck even though I told the front desk attendant it was gonna be picked to in a couple of hours and we NEEDED to sleep. We had already parked it but he said we couldn’t leave there that it was stated in their website (which it wasn’t) about big trucks which was a lie because I checked. We actually drove from California and our first stop was in New Mexico and the first thing I checked for was the parking situation. I told him that at that point it was dangerous for us to keep driving and he said that we would have to risk it. The inhumanity in that man’s answer and how little he cared about 2 hard working people just trying to do our jobs felt so very wrong. And obviously they kept my money!!! The room was prepaid. My husband and I left feeling defeated, at the end we ended up finding a place to stay, we went to sleet at around 8AM. This was the worse experience ever!!!

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a property. The front desk was unnecessarily rude and the room was intolerable. There were unwashed towels, bugs on the wall, food and fingernails under the bed, etc. The room had a strong smell of mildew and everybody that was in this room (for less than an hour) began having nasal and respiratory issues within 24 hours of being present at this property.

The lady at the desk was very rude and racist, I don’t understand cause it’s black history month. Food was disgusting and the room was over priced, hidden fees, and smoke coming out the vent and they were spraying for bed bugs. The outlet also was not working and housekeeping g busted in our room why we’re getting dress.

Tried to check in early.. (that’s when I landed) it was around 1pm. I was told the room is ready but I can’t check in till 3pm Unless I pay a $35 early check in fee. So I waited…. Eventually coming back around 3:30/4 they stored my bags behind the glass. When I came back to check in I asked if he could grab my bags and was told no…. Only after I check in. Wait what? Holding my things ransom was the feeling I perceived..So I tried checking in and was told once again my room wasn’t ready. He eventually gave me a room…anfter noting I’ve been waiting hours….odd thing was he asked for an additional charge not associated with the main bill… called it a guest fee. 6 dollars or something he ran separately. Then ran my card for $100 incidental fee for the one night. Mind you this is a run down roadside motel. The Hilton keeps $50 a night .. for reference. Overall this place feels scummy…we are just a dollar bill to them. And it’s quite apparent.

The hotel appears to have been recently updated inside each room. The decor is pleasing. Outside still needs a little sprucing up, but there is a pleasant pool area to sit even if you don’t want to swim. However street traffic is noisy. Staff are very friendly. Rickey’s restaurant across the street is a sports bar. We ate dinner there. Service was excellent. Ultimate nachos were so good. Prices were very reasonable. This is a good stop pre-cruise with free shuttle from the airport and to Port Everglades.

Property is okay arriving late coming off a flight in Fort Lauderdale. Nothing special just a place to sleep. What I really enjoyed was a little coffee shop a few blocks away. I believe it’s called Modern Rose. Great coffee and amazing food. Prefect way to start the day.

The exterior of the building looked a little sketchy at first, but inside the room was very clean. No stains on the sheets, spacious bedroom but the bathroom was a TINY closet. Bars on the bathroom window made the outside look slummy, but overall it is was a comfortable and clean space. Front desk staff was friendly and check in was smooth. I gave 3 stars because of the VERY LOUD AND BUSY ROAD IN FRONT!!

My husband became ill on our drive to the hotel; when we arrived approximately an hour and a half before check-in, the clerk informed us that we would have to leave and come back at 3:00 PM No early check-in. The room smelled like some type of disinfectant - the strong odor lingered throughout the night and was even noticeable the next morning. There are no extra blankets or pillows in the room and My husband had a miserable night and I did as well because the mattress had a huge dip in the center. I did not want to disturb my husband so I did not notify the front desk of any of these issues. This morning when I went to check out, the property has a door that locks behind you and I had to twice ask somebody to open the door for me. Also, the so-called continental breakfast just did not look appetizing at all. The sausage patties were positively grey and I wasn’t about to eat that. The food didn’t look fresh at all and I left there with only a cup of coffee. I really don’t feel like we got the value for our money for that one night stay- the rate seemed high for a Monday night. If you need to get a good nights rest, don’t stay at this hotel, the rooms face Hollywood Boulevard, and you can hear every single bit of street noise! We traveled with our little dog and her portable kennel, and she growled and barked at every little noise throughout the night. The one thing that I liked was that there is small and convenient doggie park.

This hotel was a nice place to stay in. Everything was great except for our tv didn't work properly. They could use a bigger breakfast area but overall it was good. We felt safe and the beds and pillows were comfortable. I would stay there again.

Property on noisy busy road. Building older so not worth $100 a night. Limited outlets, water pressure low in shower. Was nice to have frig and microwave. Stayed Thursday night thur Sunday am. Guests loud Saturday night, breakfast was wiped out early daily and messy by 7:40 and 1 counter guy busy at desk until like 8:30. Staff needed for food area refill. Staff is super friendly and helpful- only complaint I would have is the breakfast- while good this is the 2nd time being there that the milk was spoiled. :( Everything else was GREAT and would definitely stay again! Remodeled rooms were very nice.

Our check in was smooth and timely. TV had only 1 channel for 3 days. At first it was not working and agent came to room 3 times. Rooms are cleaned only 3 times a week which was unknown to us. 2 roaches seen on different days. Breakfast during the week is only coffee, juice, toast, bagle, apple, juice. It was not a good experience at all ....
