The Pointe at Castle Hill Resort & Spa

It is very convenient if you’re skiing @Okemo. 7 minute ride. I have been here before about 8 years ago. Not much changed. We were located in the “old” side and is very clean, beds were very confortable. Good night sleep. I cannot give more starts because the bathrooms although clean are so old, the paint is chipping, the sink and commode are so small and uncomfortable, they need an upgrade. The pool was ok, the hot tub was a bliss after skiing. We will be back and hope they invest on this side of the hotel. I saw the suites are the new renovated side maybe I’ll book a suite next time.

Affordable luxury! Thick, lush towels, plenty of them. Comfortable mattress & pillows. Pool & hot tub perfect temps, clean. Good coffee. We were there in off-season (summer) so it was quiet. Visited nearby Calvin Coolidge Home. Would love to spend more time, explore area. Will recommend to friends for skiing, shopping.

Lovely clean hotel. Wish it included breakfast- extra fee. Pool was a little cold for the kids. But overall a great experience would definitely stay again. Thank you

Secind year in a row I've stayed here. Love it. Very clean and modern. Pool, hot tub, and game room are all amazing. Hotel is minutes from Okemo mountain and surrounding bars/restaurants/shops.

Room was VERY clean. Their towels are so soft and whatever laundry detergent they use smells lovely. Bed was comfortable. Slightly dated, but fits very well with the “vibe” of the area which is nice. Good wifi, was able to work from room with no issues. I was slightly bothered that no breakfast is available on site, even for purchase. Pool is small-ish, but indoor which is great. Could potentially use a bit more chlorine & general cleaning in my opinion, but I also used it after a gaggle of teenage boys had been in it so that could be my own misjudgement. Hot tub is nice. Fitness area is really great for a hotel, surprisingly good amount of equipment! The food in the area is okay, a little pricey for what it is. I will say, the hotel offers a pamphlet with all food availability in the area. They also offer pamphlets for hiking and other activities (prepared by the hotel, not the glossy individual ones from local businesses) which is wonderful! Hiking, kayaking, museums and parks. People at the front desk are nice, but seem mildly inattentive- they have a back room behind the desk and I waited for ten minutes (was watching the clock behind the counter) until an attendant realized I was there. I would advise to avoid the dates of the “Coolidge Cup” for high schoolers if you’re going in the summer, they are loud until 10 at night, completely fill up the pool from 8-10pmish, and are loud again at 7 am. Overall, a solid choice for a stay in this area.

The pool and hot tub were not working and this was a key reason for staying at this location.

The Pointe at Castle Hill was a great place for a stay that was near the mountain and also close enough to all the great restaurants and other attractions. Didn’t need to venture to far since up the hill at the spa you can use the outdoor pool and hot tub for a daily fee. Something nice about an outdoor hot tub when it’s 15 degrees out. Only comment is the breakfast (buffet) on the weekends was not worth the $16 charge - quality wise. I would pass on this next time and grab a bite down the road.

It is a nice hotel, and was fun being there with the kids. The pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable.

The hotel was nice and clean and conveniently located near Okemo Mtn. The restaurant in the sister property was very good and beautiful atmosphere. It was however a little difficult to use the hot tub after snowboarding due to the size and amount of people trying to use it.

Will definitely stay here again! Very clean room nice and quiet and staff were very personable!

Nice spacious rooms, friendly staff, rooms are clean. However, we stayed in onebedroom suite with full kitchen. Was not sure if dishes that were in dishwasher were actually clean as stainless pots had stains. Short drive to the shops and ludlow town and skiing area

My husband and I stayed after a wedding and had our three children staying with us. We stayed in a suite that was extremely clean, everything was in good working order and the common areas were just as nice. It was nice to be away from home and feel so comfortable with where my children were staying and that they could crawl and move about the space without concern for how clean things were or them getting hurt from a space that was not well kept. It was relaxing and restful which is saying a lot when traveling away from home with three young children.

Carpet is very dirry in the room, inadequate lighting in the bathroom, hardly any water is coming from the shower head. And this is not a cheap hotel.

I liked the size of the room, the bed and seating arrangement was nice, and the hotel was relatively quiet! However, the bathroom was noticeably dated, though mostly just the ceiling tiles with rusty frames. Also, you cannot turn off the fan on the Air Conditioning unit. It took me a minute to realize the unit was controlled via a thermostat unit on the wall. However, even when you push "Off", the fan will constantly run. This wasn't really a problem for me, but for those who are "colder blooded", you'll be chilly. After placing my reservation in advance, I had forgotten to read the reviews first and saw a handful of negative ones regarding cleanliness and bugs. I am happy to report none of those issues with my stay. One thing I have to mention though-This room was not worth $200 for a night. I did have higher expectations going into it, but really I would have been more comfortable around $130-$150. I understand this is a popular spot for Mt.Okemo visitors, which most likely drove the price, but there is little else to do in the area and for the value you receive, it's just not there. It's overall a nice place to stay, but next time I will be a little more strict with my budget.

Clean and friendly!

We had a great stay at the Pointe. The hotel is very conveniently located near Okemo mountain. The staff was very helpful at check-in, providing us with a list of nearby restaurants. I had also forgotten my phone charging cable and they lent us one for our stay (I don't think they keep them on hand, but they took the time to look for one that was probably in the lost & found). We opted for the full breakfast buffet on Saturday morning and all the food was delicious. Breakfast staff were very attentive. The hot tub was great after long days of skiing. The pool room itself has a bit of a chlorine smell, as expected, but it is well contained and does not filter out into the hallways at all. We heard them vacuuming the hallways both evenings we were in the hot tub, so I know they were constantly working to keep things clean, probably from the dirt and sand getting trekked in from the snowy parking lots. Bathroom could use a little refreshing but the rooms were clean and comfortable.

The blankets in the closet smells dirty and one of the towel in the bathroom was a little wet.

Nice hot tub and pool area. The room was spotless and had a well equipped kitchen, a washer/dryer unit, and jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The TVs were nice size and Wi-Fi was decent even at peak evening hours.

Was blown away by the suite. It even had a washer and dryer in it. Jetted bathtub and a night evening for our birthdays. We will return

The room is clean but dated and no microwave or coffee table for the couch. Staff were friendly and very helpful!

Only thing I feel would have been better is firmer/updated mattresses...both beds in room were the sloped to the middle variety...other than that all was well.

Room was spacious and bed was comfortable but the bathroom had issues. The light switch is outside of the bathroom, the tp is awkwardly located and there are not enough towel bars. Plenty of empty wall space where bars or hooks could be located but nothing

Very poor internet. Could not stream a movie on Netflix. Refrigerator can be bigger and on table not floor. Have to get on floor to see in it. Sounds crazy but the bath towels are incredibly soft. Nice staff as well

The night clerk who handled my check in was very friendly and knowledgable, however, she did not make me aware that we had to request any level of maid service for our second night. At the price paid, I did not expect no maid service.

Great stay very friendly staff. Room was very comfortable. Lobby was very welcoming.

When I checked in the hotel staff was very kind and welcoming.I went to the room and placed my bags in then headed to the hot tub up the hill at the castle.when I got to the hot tub I was told that I couldn’t use it because of the time of day which it was 7pm and to my knowledge it was to be open until 8pm but I was told it was not open. So I went back to the hotel room to shower, once in the room I started the shower and went to throw trash into the trash barrel in the little kitchenette under the sink and when I opened the sink cabinet the trash was overflowing with trash. So I turned off the shower and walked to the front to ask if it’s possible to dump a bag of trash in the dumpster then the host asked what was going on and I told her the trash was full, she loved me to a different room and I was much better, though I went to shower and the shower head was spraying down/sideways, I thought “man, they charge like $600-$700 during ski season for these kitchen rooms, why can’t they put a decent enough shower head in the rooms” because I have been there enough to know that most of the rooms have the same inexpensive cheap shower heads and you all make plenty of money so buck up a little bit man…. I went there because I needed to get away for a couple days and was actually thinking of staying another day or two because my fiancé and I had just split up two days before so I needed some VT time I ended up leaving one day sooner and lost out on $150, home was more comfy so I left

If you have to stay in the area, don't stay anywhere else. This place is immaculate, well appointed and has the most friendly staff.

Rooms and overall lodge are clean and sufficient. A little dated but it’s quaint and well maintained. Lots of families and kids. Close to town and Okemo. Would stay again.

Our stay was a perfect getaway. The location to Okemo mountain was great.

This is a fine hotel near Okema. We liked skiing. There are not many restaurants in the village. making a reservation for dinner was a challenge. Otherwise we had a good time.

A very nice quiet motel. The one downside was local amenities. Not much variety in restaurants and many have limited hours at this time of year.

Nice clean hotel. It could use some updating and no restaurant or bar on property. You need to go to another building about 1/4 mile away.

Okay,disappointing that the restaurant was not available. That should have been disclosed at time of booking. Also no where in amenities did it say you have to pay extra to use the pool hot tub That should have been included in price.

The suites are really good 👍 i had my cat there which was really nice to have my pet there. The suite has a washer dryer in it which was very convenient i was so excited to know that. I dont know many that have that. The restaurant up the hill is not available until 5 for dinner when i was there i didnt try it. There is a salon and spa at the top of the hill also didnt book that. But the suite had a fireplace and a spa tub in it jetted it wasnt huge but it was nice to be able to prepare a hot tub in the room. Staff delightful, the hotel has an arcade space great for kids and even adults. There are refreshments jn the lobby i didnt know that till later in the stay and there is a pool and hot tub too. I didnt try either of those. In the suite tho there are rooms 1 for the bed another with kitchen dining room and sofa with tv and the bathroom. Comes with a closet near kitchen and closet off of bedroom and a very large bureau with a place for jewelry in one of the drawers very fancy i didnt use it. The view is of trees and a driveway from the room but it didnt matter it was quiet. Also didnt hear too much from guests through walls. A bit in hallway but not too much mostly quiet overall good stay!

Great property close to the mountain and restaurants. Fun pool, hot tub, small game room. Breakfast and coffee also great. Service was excellent. Loved the room towels!
