Clean comfortable room. Had to carry luggage from across the street. Breakfast was so-so. Coffee was good.

No elevator due to repairs and didn’t disclose info till arrival. Dirty bedding, worn furniture in room. Extremely poor service at check in. Waited for someone at desk for over 15 minutes. Hotel seems to have only one employee.

Everything but the parking in the dark.

Construction makes it hard to evaluate. Handicap access was rough on person with mobility aids. Lobby is great. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Interior walls and carpet are VERY worn. Lots of patching. A coat of paint and go back to hard floors would do a lot to spruce it up. It is only place in Pottsville. Could be worth investment.

The entrance is SO NARROW on the Rt.61 side. Need to remove the cement part.

Even though the hotel is under renovations, it was very clean. Housekeeping did a great job. The staff was very friendly. The only downside we found was with the breakfast. They would only fill a few pieces of eggs and sausage at a time. If you said they needed more, it would take approximately 15 minutes to get more. The breakfast attendant was VERY friendly and helpful though

Good stay. The refrigerator was broken with an open door and towel laying in front. The wedding and Hotels advertised breakfast included but there was none. The front desk did not tell us that we needed a form to park in the near by lot and that the police are issuing $35 tickets without one. Fortunately we did not receive a ticket. I’m the morning we found that a notice was posted next to check in on the wall. Comfortable room.

It was not the renovated room pictured on the website. It was old and stinky. The bedding did not look like clean sheets.

We stayed here twice during our vacation. We came into Pottsville for a family reunion. Check in was nice and the gentleman at the desk was so kind. We got to our 2 rooms and our feet were sticking to the floors in our room. I told the lady the next morning in check out that our toh doesn't drain and only 1 of 4 of us could shower due to it almost overflowing. She said there was "air in the lines" and that was it. We were traveling with 5 kids after being stuck at the airport for 31 hours due to the ATL storms and I just wanted a shower and sleep. We came back here a week later after our travels and was put in the same 2 rooms. I checked the tub and it was STILL clogged. The gentleman at the front desk came upstairs and plugged it so we could shower. He was such a doll. We couldn't swap rooms since there were no clean rooms available at almost midnight. The floors in the rooms were so dirty that our feet were black AFTER we showered. I think we'll be staying at the new hotel opening nextdoor or the hotel 2 towns away. We stayed here for convenience since family was around the corner, but this was too dirty to stay with kids. This is coming from 2 Army veterans that have slept in the dirt and pouring rain. We stayed here in October last year but there was construction going on, and thought the dust and filth was just construction dust. I don't recommend this place if you have kids, want a clean place to stay, etc.

Only stayed one night and arrived late to find that sheets hadn't been changed. Both beds had hairs on the bottom sheets. One bed had the sheet on top of the thin comforter. The next morning after showering, opened the folded towel and it was disgusting. It looked like someone used it to clean. Excessive dirt on it and fresh blood. There was dirt along the wall where the bed was. Appeared to be blood stains on bathroom wall. Very dim light in bathroom and the light had automatic fan that was extremely loud. There is about a 2" gap under the door that left light in and extra noisy. We woke up at least 5 times throughout the night from people getting back to their room. The last time being 4:20am. Also excessive noise from highway. If there was anything positive, it was the lobby appeared to be clean although no furniture to sit and no breakfast. I did tell them about the room condition when we checked out and nothing was done as far as a refund. Parking is across the street which is more like an alley. There's a ramp to access it. We did see a lot of people walking through the lot as it is a normal shortcut in town. Overhead lights but no security

Room tile was busted and moving on bath floor, carpet dirty found dirty napkin on floor, walls splashed with red stuff, shower curtain dirty, incident in parking lot two guys loitering around our car wouldn’t leave

The hotel was not clean, rugs dirty, walls dirty, flooring ripped up in spots, the room smelled of cigarette smoke, furniture in the room was not clean. Was shocked at how many extension cords were used in my room as well as in other areas of the hotel.

The room was very clean and the bed was so comfy! I love that there was NO carpet, but a laminate type floor! Cross street parking and no issues, the street really isn’t busy and there’s a crosswalk. Very, very kind and helpful staff! If I had one suggestion, it would be to possibly put some handrails in the tub. I have ankle and knee issues so that would be helpful, definitely NOT a deal breaker! Looking forward to our yearly visit next August! Will want to stay here again!

The entire establishment was unclean. The assigned room had used towels and no toilet paper upon entry. A complaint was made to the representative at the front desk where she was able to provide a new room. This place needs more care and dedication to provide customers with excellent service. It has the potential to be but our stay wasn’t pleasant at all.

Staff was excellent. Understand the hotel is being renovated and the room I stayed in supposedly was renovated. The bedding, mattress and rug were new and excellent but the rest of the furniture and bathroom was very outdated. The AC work great but was very noisy. The bathroom fan sounded like a jet engine so I had to take a shower in the dark. Lastly there was a clicking sounds that occurred randomly and often (maybe 10 times/hr...all night) No idea where the noise was coming from, but it sound like an electrical short behind the bed....or somebody crumbly a plastic bottle. Very annoying.

Our room was clean and comfortable and had the amenities we needed for our overnight stay. The shower was great- plenty of hot water and good water pressure.

Could hear other rooms’ tv all night. Paperwork was never ready for me to sign at front desk. Bed was SO loud and creaky

The good- nice showers and comfortable beds. The bad- A/C did nothing during an especially hot stay. The first room we were given did not have bathroom rails for my 90-year-old. Mother-in-law, as we were promised. Ryan (the biggest highlight of our stay) moved us to another room. It was 90 degrees inside, however, and even after running the A/C for our entire stay, it never dropped below 80. Sleep was minimal. The hotel advertises a complimentary breakfast. The first morning, it was available, but nothing to write home about. Days 2 and 3, the hotel decided to skip the breakfast offering altogether, with no reason given or reduction in price. The handicapped entrance was on an alley with a broken-up concrete walkway. This is also apparently the smoking lounge, and unbeknownst to us, a drug rehab is adjacent. There was even a free dispenser of naloxone for overdoses in the entry alleyway. Do better!

Obviously very dated and toilet ran, so not eco friendly. The good… excellent water pressure, clean room, comfortable bed and quiet surroundings which is all I need for a good night’s sleep.

The outside surrounding area was run down and dilapidated. Inside the hotel itself was actually nice. But our room didnt have the bed made and was dirty. They upgraded our room and the AC didnt work. Room was too hot to be comfortable

Bed was huge and very clean rooms. Bathtub was small and the roads to enter and exit the parking area were hard to get into.

This is a $60 a night facility at best. Paper thin walls. Truly awful breakfast. Friendly staff and very large rooms. Fine if you’re traveling for work and have earplugs, but I would not bring the family here.

We wound up leaving and didn't even check in. When I asked the young desk clerk to stop calling me "Dear" (as you may guess, I am an older woman), she absolutely erupted. Apparently she's been a nurse for five years, and NOBODY ever told her she should not call them dear. I pointed out that I was not her patient, but we are in a professional situation for her. She then started threatening to refuse service, so I told her don't bother, we are leaving. I have never had such a thing happen in all the times I have stayed in hotels. She needs anger management and customer service training.

Staff was helpful and respectful

Everyone was friendly. I had a problem with my Expedia account and the person on duty was very helpful and patient. The room was clean and comfortable. I work night shift when in town and never once was I disturbed by anything going on.

It took 3 rooms to get one that was cleaned and/or not occupied by a very shocked old lady when I opened the door in her. Staff tired their best but it was no A team

When checking in they couldn’t find my already paid reservation then was told there wasn’t even a room available then told I would have to pay a additional $70 for a different room because the room i booked and paid for was sold out? Then they finally gave me a different room and i went to the room finally to ho to ned and i walked in and it wS dark i kicked my shies off and walked towards the bathroom where i walked into a soaked carpet by the bathroom were i noticed the toilet was completely empty and when i turned around to look at the room there was 2 toilets in boxes on the floor in the room!!! I need to say I have cancer and have a tumor on the bottom of my foot that i walked right into the soaking wet carpet with my guess the toilet water all over my foot! So inwas sent to another room and that room was never cleaned or made up. No bedding at all. Dirty bathroom with last guests garbage all over it so once again had to walk to another room all while walking in a badvfoot with a tumor on it thats now all wet so they gave me another room that was a upgrade but not for free they just didn’t up charge me!! But after 2 days they did so i had to downgrade my room and move all my stuff again. I had a personal issue that i had no choice but to stay at the hotel for a week and was never once given my money back or even a apology. I have been sick since then my guess from shatever i walked in the first night with a open tumor on my foot. And still nothing has been reimbursed.

The staff is awesome.

The hotel entrance was a bit hard to find, since the GPS takes someone to the opposite side of the building. Maybe some signs out front would help. Otherwise pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room and comfort of the bed.

We were there for the Yuengling 5K so this hotel was super close. Everything was within walking distance. Bed and room were comfortable.

Nice place and walking distance to the Yuengling brewery and restaurants.

The Pottsville Inn is actually named the Pottsville Hotel, which made it difficult to find. Google maps missed the hotel by 4 buildings.

It’s a basic,clean inexpensive hotel that is centrally located in Pottsville. It’s not fancy, but it’s comfortable. We stay every year for an event.

We had a terrible time trying to find the place! Very confusing. Poorly labeled and the old signage still visible so we did not think we were in the right place. The hotel is being renovated. Much work needs to be done, but the place has potential. It could be an event place as well as convenient location. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Price was great and breakfast was great

We were just 'over-nighting' so this is not a detailed review. Room was clean and comfortable. This appears to be somewhat new management and they are doing a lot of work here. The only critique is this: They have breakfast available, but we discovered it only by accident in a separate room. The variety was ok for a 'free' breakfast, but it needed some more attention to restocking and keeping things hot.

No breakfast as advertised! Was told the kitchen is not in operatio.Not clean as advertised. No clock in room, walls dirty & soiled with old coffee stains, lamp shades were rotted/broken. Plugs with no wall plates, outlet & wires loosely secured. Hook for clothes busted off bathroom door, looked like a dog tried to scratch their way out of the bathroom. Went to double lock my door. Lock was broken off and missing. Bed appeared ok but I put down my own sheets cover and pillow due to the appearance of the room and the facilities itself. Lobby many stained broken ceiling panels with a 40 gal garbage can catching water. Garbage can across the hall from my room filled and had hundreds of fruit flies. No furniture in the lobby AT ALL! Room window faced 20 feet away from business glass entrance next door! I do don’t know how anyone says clean quiet and friendly! All fake news! Sign outside says under renovation. They haven’t renovated anything! And someone attempted to enter my room unannounced as I was coming out of the shower. I said helllo, and they asked if the room was occupied…. Why else would I answer. The person said it wasn’t on the list as occupied so I assumed it was housekeeping (same person as the front desk) either way they began to enter with knocking or announcing. This place is a freaking circus! Would’ve been better sleeping in my car! My bill differs from what I was charged by hotels.com overcharged by $20. Literally nothing was as advertised!

Its Pottsville, however evertime I come I stay here. Never had a problem. Its a good value. The breakfast is better than your average continental one. Bed is comfortable, it's quiet. Shower is hot. I had a tv and a microwave and a fridge for under 90 a night. Staff is very professional and friendly. Ill he back again next year

I enjoyed the safety i felt and the use of area. Breakfast left something to be desired but it's understandable given the renovations. would like to visit again.
