Sonesta Essential Morgantown

No microwave, tv remote didn’t work, iron was broken, passkey didn’t work nor did replacement one, wires hung from ceiling, hot breakfast - only sausage patties as eggs were empty and not replenished @8:30 in the morning

Heard people talking in lobby and adjoining room all night along with street noise. Breakfast was awful. There was only cereal and white bread. Other reviews claimed eggs and sausage but there was nothing on the morning I was there. Also, while eating some dry Cocoa Puffs a dog ean out of the elevator and started sniffing my leg. Pillows were lumpy. Room was clean.

Tho hotel is mostly ok. The staff was wonderful. But our room phone and hair dryer did not work. The two drawers were broken. The windows had not been cleaned and were really dirty. We went for the continental breakfast and the eggs were cold and hard. The sausage was swimming in liquid, the gravy had a brown hard film on it and the toaster didn’t work. Also a strong smoke smell was coming from the ac unit in and off throughout the night.

Clean

Breakfast was quite skimpy. The only warm food available was country gravy (which looked burnt) that could be put on biscuits or toast. The waffle machine had no batter to use. No eggs, bacon, sausage...very disappointing. The juices were empty and not replenished when I was eating at 8. The bathroom had a major slow drain issue that required the use of a plunger for the tub.
