Pool area way too crowded

The location is great. The hotel is quite big but the rooms are outdated. Some of the services provided you have to pay extra to use, like the gym and the indoor pool.

Me and my wife enjoyed stay at this hotel for 6 nights. The only problem was pool which was overcrowded. Apparently most of them were outsider not resident. I believe hotel make money for its pool

Wonderful hotel and apartments with restaurants, entertainment and leisure facilities on site. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Good location. Very helpful reception staff. The apartment was a good size and had everything I needed including a well equipped kitchenette. My only grumble would be that it was noisy in the mornings, from 7.45 I could always hear furniture being dragged across the floor above and the cleaners talking loudly in the corridor. Nice pool area with sunbeds and bar, entertainment several evenings during the week and various activities if you want them.

Hotellet var fantastiskt för barn. Jättebra värdar som aktiverade barnen, och ett schema varje dag som innehöll många aktiviteter för barn (och vuxna).

Pasamos 4 días en Sunset Beach Club con mi madre y mi esposa. Aquí un resumen de nuestra experiencia: Pros: -🌊 Vistas : Las habitaciones con vista al mar son espectaculares, viendo la piscina y el mar. -🍽️ Apartamento equipado : Cocina bien equipada, con utensilios incluidos. -⏳ Check-in rápido: Personal amable, incluso nos asignaron la habitación antes de tiempo. -🛏️ Habitación cómoda: Aunque podría aprovecharse mejor el espacio, tanto la cama como el sofá cama eran cómodos. - 🔕 Rudio: Una vez cierras la terraza, todo silencioso, puedes dormir tranquilo que nada te va a despertar. Contras: -🏊‍♂️ Piscina: Mucha gente reservando tumbonas desde temprano, y el personal no hace cumplir las normas de que no se puede reservar las tumbonas. El primer dia que hicimos de piscina conseguir un lugar fue complicado, justo al lado de donde nos pusimos unos desgraciados cogieron 3 tumbonas con sus toallas a las 9:00am, no aparecieron hasta las 16:00h... tienen un supervisor que no hace nada, en fin . Muy frustrante. -🚗 Parking: 18€/día por estacionar es excesivo, considerando que ya pagamos 220€/noche. -🎶 Entretenimiento: El bar donde hacen shows podría convertirse en una discoteca por las noches para mejorar la experiencia, algo que he disfrutado en otros resorts. -🛏️ Habitación: Tiene una luz en el escalón de la habitación que no se apaga y la puerta del baño no cierra bien. En general, buena estancia, pero algunos detalles importantes podrían mejorar. ⭐⭐⭐

Overall we had a lovely stay here. I think that the dinner buffet experience and options could be improved upon but breakfast was nice. As a couple we felt that the hotel is definitely more of a family friendly environment but still enjoyed ourselves. Staff were all so nice and welcoming, and the amenities in the hotel are brilliant (supermarket is well stocked, lots of things going on, onsite salon/massages etc)

Had a junior suite with a sea view. Room was well equipped, nice little kitchen for making tea/coffee, making a bit of brunch. Supermarket downstairs, fresh bread and cakes, well stocked and reasonably priced. Bed was so comfortable and huge, highly recommend.

It was the perfect location for us. Beautiful view of the beach and mountains from our room. We loved having a terrace. Kitchen is small but all we needed to make breakfast, coffee & tea in the morning. There is a grocery store on the resort, but also there’s a large grocery store right across the street (Dai). We loved the resort feel of the beautiful pools and restaurants. There were lots of chairs and we never had a problem getting one. The only negative is that they don’t provide pool towels (so we brought down our bath towels from the room, but many people had their own from home). Very close to go in to Malaga for the day. We took Bus 110 and it went right to the historical area near the water (1.70 euros each way). It took 45minutes, but we got to see the area on the way (as one town blends with the next). We mainly used this as a home base to explore Costa del Sol. Very easy to drive here. Parking in lot filled up quickly but usually some on the street.

Rooms spotless. Staff very friendly. Very centrally located to visit all the coast.

Had a little trouble with WiFi in our room the last week we were there but they said system was being worked on so hopefully they were able to improve it.

La organización en las comidas fue horrible el bufet se quedaba rapidamente sin vomida y tardaban en reponer sobre todo en el desayuno. La limpieza de la habitacion fue muy mala tanto al entrar el primer dia como durante el alojamiento

Room full of bedbugs, my daughter was red all over from bites. Room was newly painted giving me a headache from cheap paint.

Hotel enorme situado en un lugar privilegiado, frente al mar, pero con muchos aspectos que mejorar. Enfocado sin tapujos a un tipo de huesped europeo poco exigente, el hotel cumple las expectativas gracias a su excpecional localización y sus maravillosas vistas, especialmente si tienes la suerte de alojarte en un piso alto. Eso sí, sufrirás problemas con el agua y especialmente con los ascensores. A destacar el personal de limpieza y las camareras de piso que mantienen el hotel impoluto a cualquier hora del día.

Staff was really nice and helpful. Food was so/so. Resort very good for family. Lots of children running around. Very clean.

Good sized, well equipped clean apartment but very noisy on a night with large air con unit outside (we didn’t have the air con on) and furniture being dragged across the floor at all hours in the events room above. Please note if travelling within Spain, reception will not let you check in without your actual passport, photos not accepted.

Nice clean well equipped kitchen and living area. Sleeping quarters were a bit tight with two small single beds ana a step down into the living space

Not enough staff at check in check out Room was not prime seaview had to pay another upgrade to junior suite for prime seaview. First room assigned was partial seaview and city. Reason if view is not obstructed then its considered prime whether you only see part ocean and part city.

Room description is misleading advertising “Prime Sea View” that does not have a full view of the sea but rather partial view mostly viewing the mountain behind. We therefore upgraded to a Junior Suite for an extra 100 euros.

The hotel rooms are dated and require total reburbishment. We booked a Studio, Seaview, Terrace but when we went to our room, they had given us one WITHOUT a terrace. On returning to Reception they said Expedia had displayed an inaccurate description. There were no studios with terraces. However after complaining our friends (who also booked this category) were reallocated a studio with a terrace (so they did have some) but there were none left for us. We ended up in 3 different rooms in the 5 days of our trip so that we had a terrace but had to work round availability and other bookings. The Hotel Manager was abrupt and reluctant to help. I submitted an official complaint to Expedia 5 days ago but as yet have not received confirmation or a response.

All was good, till I saw the maids dump all bottles and cans pop and beer into the garbage. It made me ill to see these items going to a landfill. A guest told us there are recycle bins by the store on main floor, after a week I started to take it down but they were always overflowing…you need to place bigger bins for recycle.and let your guests know where they are, Canadians are big recyclers, paper, glass and plastic and cans. …if your trying to save water don’t take the towels unless they are on the floor….we don’t wash our towels everyday at home. Big improvement needed in this area Nice to see the hotel post Covid has been upgraded, and renovated, lovely lobby ….since you don’t have help fir baggage ALL front desk staff should know you have carts on floor 6 next to tour desk, we arrived late and when asked for a trolley we’re told there was one large one but no one knows where it is,? We found them T 5pm before our departure…..a had to transfer 5 large pieces and 2 small. It was very difficult…for 2 elderly women. Entertainment is still the best, bus transportation great and proximity to super markets excellent…. Great staff if you could get to the front of the line…always long lineups. At front desk, phones were not answered Because they were busy, so what do you do in an Emergency ….when you are alone, You need a better system ….otherwise a lovely stay….

The property was decent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing extravagant. I would certainly stay again.

J’ai passer 4 nuit a cette hotel incroyable chambre spacieuse tres bien équipée et propre. Supermarché et laverie dans lhotel 3 resto mais jai pas eu l’occasion d’y manger bien situer prendre la vue mer magnifique. Les filles de l’accueil tres tres gentille et 2 parle français je recommande fortement et j’y reviendrai pour ma part

It Was A fantastic experience. Sergio and the desk staff were wonderful to my wife and I. We are in Spain from Canada celebrating our 25 Anniversary. Staff and hotel were splendid.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l’hôtel. Nous sommes des habitués de cet établissement. On est toujours agréablement surpris par la qualité des services et la gentillesse du personnel en particulier ceux de la réception. Ils sont toujours à l’écoute et très serviable. Concernant l’hébergement il est idéalement bien situé avec une vue imprenable sur la mer .

Tolles Hotel direkt am Strand, wunderbarer Ausblick von den Apartments auf das Meer. Sehr ruhig, obwohl viel geboten wird (Bar und Pool, ...). Die Apartments sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit, hat auch mit einem Weinöffner sofort ausgeholfen.

Familie rommet med sjøutsikt hadde utsikt rett inn i garasje inngangen og ventilasjon systemet med sjøen langt i bakgrunnen. Vi byttet til et dyrere rom ved ankomst etter mye styr. Det å få den utsjekk var også veldig mye styr og når vi kom for utsjekk var det lang kø og vaskepersonalet var ikke klar til å vaske rommet på en god stund. Vi kjøpte halvpensjon- var katastrofal!! Kokte pølser og hamburgere flere kvelder. Pomfrit og paella hver dag. Frokosten er ok, som forventet med stekte egg og bacon. Gym koster ekstra og bytte av pool håndklær koster ekstra. Alacarte resturanten har samme meny som buffé restauranten, litt mere utvalg, men samme kvalitet.

The one thing that lets this hotel down is the poor quality of the food in the Dinner Buffet, "stay away from it", the Al A Carte restaurant was just a little better, breakfast was very good, why cant they reach the same standard with the Dinner Buffet as the breakfast???? Everything else was very good, friendly staff, very clean, comfortable, great pool area. Alcohol was a little pricey in the bar.

Overall a great stay and the staff weee fantastic and the only thing that let it down was the quality of the food in the a la carte as was quite poor. I would also recommend having the A la carte restaurant separate and in the restaurant to the right of the buffet restaurant which closed early for some strange reason and is of much better ambience and feel than the big free for all in the buffet side.

Not perfectly wall isolation, we could hear the noise in the corridor in the rooms. Dinner (buffet) was not so good.

We liked sunset beach club but would only return self catering as we had dinner 3 of the 4 nights we were there and food was cold and tasteless and i definitely would not recommend it to anyone we booked superior rooms and we were given rooms that did not have any sunshine at any time of day which was very disappointing the hotel itself was very nice and staff very pleasant area around hotel pleasant mary

Nice hotel, near beach. Fantastic view if you choose the correct room. Very noisy at end September, endless little and not so little children even though it was school time! Beach area a bit dilapidated with abandoned buildings. Food variety good, although difficult for vegetarians.
