El sitio está bien, pero es algo pretencioso. La verdad es que esperaba algo mejor en general. De primeras no hay nadie en recepción porque están sirviendo en el restaurante y tienen que venir a atenderte mientras van respondiendo qué plato toca a qué mesa por el pinganillo. Te hacen un check-in innecesariamente largo con un teléfono. Cuando ya consigues subir a la habitación, encuentras un cartelito de "esta habitación la ha preparado X" y la ves limpia, pero caminas con calcetines blancos y compruebas que no han lavado el suelo. Entras al baño y encuentras lo que parece ser el producto estrella del hotel: "la vinoterapia", un champú barato que huele a algo parecido a vino y que te venden en una vitrina en la planta baja. La habitación tiene mucha luz, la cama es cómoda, la zona es céntrica pero tranquila y no se oye prácticamente nada de las otras habitaciones ni de fuera (nos tocó en la parte interior, no la de la calle). El desayuno fue un estrés innecesario por la chica que había en la sala, hablando muy fuerte por el pinganillo y corriendo de aquí para allá sin necesidad total para servir qué, ¿seis mesas? La variedad de comida en sí bastante mejorable y los yogures en un platito sin refrigerar (...) No puedo decir que se estuvimos mal porque no fue así. Ahora bien, la experiencia general es muy mejorable para algo que pretende ir como de aire señorial. Para variar, a la salida tampoco había nadie en recepción y dejamos la tarjeta de la habitación en un cofre.

El hotel es fantástico, personal encantador y el entorno maravilloso. El jardin para desayunar con los rayos de sol precioso. Muy recomendable. Tienes rutas en el monte a 5 min del hotel, y Ezcaray es además de precioso un pueblo con tiendas bares, ambiente. Fin de semana para repetir.
