Nous sommes fiers de l'ambiance amicale et chaleureuse du Garth et avons une rputation pour notre hospitalit, qui font revenir les clients d'annes en annes. Nous ferons tout notre possible pour faire de votre sjour un moment agrable et plaisant. 入り口のドアには鍵がかかっているので、インターホンを使ってください。大学の側で、周りの環境はとても良いです。地下鉄の駅も近いです。安いのに清潔さや広さは十分なホテルだと思います。エレベーターはないので、荷物が多い人は注意が必要かもしれません。

It’s a great big house with rooms that are rented out, water damage very visible everywhere! And I’m not sure how safe the plugs and extension was right by the head of the bed where you’d normally leave a bottle of water! There is no lift, I was top floor not ideal with a suitcase and no one to help take it up! The receptionist was lovely on check in! Location can’t fault that! I’ve stayed in better kept hostels for cheaper

Mein EZ hatte die Größe einer „Besenkammer“.Auf dem Tisch kleiner Fernseher, schmaler Besenschrank und verrostetes Heizgerät. Bad benötigt Grundreinigung. Rezeption im Keller. Kein Fahrstuhl. Schmale, steile Treppen, mit Koffer nicht ungefährlich. Für Nacht noch akzeptabel.

There was no hot water in my room all day had to wait till manager starting at 4pm..not good so couldnt go out all at all..in shower room so small shower wouldn't open fully bathroom so small could hardly use the toilet ..decorating shabby everywhere..window couldn't hardly open at all..only thing that was okay was the bed comfortable..l wouldn't recommend it okay for one night no longer..

Good location and good value for central London. However, shower was pitiful, tv volume was stuck so low you could barely hear it. Worst part was I was awoken about 7:30am by what appeared to be a hotel employee and a guest having an argument in the corridor, not great.

It wasn’t clean, we had a room for three but only towels for two. The room was stuffy and we had to have the windows open. The internet has bad connection. It was nearly not possible to take a shower as the water pressure was so bad.

Vistelsen levde upp till förväntningarna. Bodde här främst för ett bra läge. Rena och nybäddade sängar, badrummet var fräscht. Dåligt vattentryck i kranen och duschen på högsta våningen, samt dålig Wi-Fi inne på rummet.

Room stank of stale beer. Only hot water in shower, no cold. No plug in basin. TV not plugged in and could not find socket. Wallpaper peeling off wall. Light switch coming off wall. Comfortable bed though. Shame about the rest.

The area was nice. The hotel was dirty. The room looked dirty and not well maintained. Also, had we not been exhausted after a long day, we would have noticed bed bugs crawling on the walls and a large number of eggs right on the wall above our bed. I woke up itching and found multiple large bites on my arms, legs, back and the same on my children’s arms, legs and even on my son’s face. We felt disgusted and checked out that morning even though we were booked in for one more night. The staff apologised and assured us the rooms get checked thoroughly in between guests which was obviously a lie taking into account the large number of eggs present on the wall. The staff also did not bother to approve a refund leaving expedia to deal with it.

Très déçu de l'établissement, la salle de bains est salle, poussière au dessus de la porte avec mouton qui pendent, la vmc est complètement salle et recouverte de saleté, la douche a un carreau de cassé, et le lave main car trop petit pour être un lavabo ne tiens a peine et bouge, le joint est tout décollé. Hôtel avec très peu d'entretien très vieux et en mauvais état. Pas de télévision seulement un écran d'ordinateur avec un boitier Amazon sur lequel on ne peut rien regarder car pas de compte et en plus il faut payé. Hôtel très bruyant les portes des couloirs grinces toutes et claques fort, idem bruit de la route. Aucune maintenance n'est faite dans l'hôtel. De plus pas de petit déjeuner alors que la salle de restaurant apparait sur les photos, mais il ont arrêté de le faire. Niveau du personnel un employé très agréable et très serviable, les autres vu correct mas pas plus.

BED BUGS! My partner were here for one night and were covered in bed bugs by 6am in the morning, and left as soon as we could. There were big stains on the boxspring, the cupboard was borden, the shelf in the bathroom was also broken/slanted so items would just slide right off. You couldn't open the shower door whilst inside the bathroom (it would hit the toilet) so you could only enter the shower by having both the bathroom door and shower door opened. do not recommend

Beliggenheden er god. 15 min på gåben fra Oxford Street og i et roligt område med små butikker og gode café og spisemuligheder. Hotellet er slidt, hvilket er i orden til prisen. Den generelle rengøring er dog meget dårlig. Der trænger til en hovedrengøring på hotellet, og vores værelser var støvede og beskidte samt lugtede.

Unfortunately,me and my family have discovered a bed bug infestation discovery on the 4th night of our stay in our room, which has greatly impacted our experience. Since we had an early group tour the next morning, I only prompted their staff about it at 10 pm. I asked if the staff knew about the issue and she said yes. She told me to wait till she hears back from owner.It wasn't too long before I heard from the staff that the owner will not issue a refund as I have been on my 4th night stay and she will use spray insect while we use the same room as all the other rooms were full. Me and my family should just wait till tomorrow for an exterminator. Although I wasn’t pleased with how owner dealt with the situation and how he managed to send his staff to my room after 30 mins to collect the keys at 11:49 pm. Owner did not seem to care if we find a place to stay for that night. I am upset with thinking that the owner only concerns himself with getting bookings and not actually dealing with customer concerns given how he managed to get someone from his team to pick up the key asap. We stayed until 8 am the next day and checked out asap to do our laundry for the entire morning.

Did not stay the night. Found a bed bug in the bed and went to another hotel. The staff was horrified when I showed it to her but I now realise it can not been a big shock for her since I now have found plenty of reviews with similar experiences. I am waiting for a reply from the hotel about my refund.

Great location, friendly helpful staff, but you're not going to want to hang out here. Very small rooms crammed awkwardly into an otherwise charming building; cant leave window open in ground floor rooms so it was a bit hot.

The room was on the ground floor facing the front of the property which was six feet from the road a busy Road with noise all night long only secondary glazing on the Windows the room was very warm one electric fan provided constant noise throughout the night with doors slamming sounded like removal men next door

El hotel esta muy bien situado pero mal cuidado. En la habitacion encontramos un calcetín del huesped anterior. Limpieza regular. El baño es minúsculo, muy incómodo. El dueño, eso si, muy amable.

My three friends and I only stayed at the Garth Hotel for a few hours. As we were going to bed on the first night, bed bugs started crawling all over us and our beds. The hotel offered us another room for ONE night for only TWO of us! They couldn’t help us find another hotel even though it was almost midnight and they wouldn’t give us a refund even though the room was uninhabitable. Need I say more???!

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at… no water pressure, no hot water at all one day. Smell of sewerage wafted up through toilet, wifi virtually non existent. Uneven floor, tiny double bed. Management didn’t bother to return emails. Was offered a bucket of hot water when the shower failed. One redeeming feature was location.

We expected the hotel to be run down and it was but we booked it anyways because we wanted to be in the middle of the of the city on a budget. The hotel did its intended job. The one issue we had for our 5 day stay was we asked at night if someone could look after our luggage the next day since checkout was at 10:30 and we didn’t have to leave for the airport until 1. The purpose was so we didn’t just have to sit on luggage for hours. They said that would be fine but the man in the morning was rude and hostile about it. He said we can just leave our bags in the hall and if their taken it wasn’t his problem. He didn’t care that someone said it was ok, he wouldn’t give us a late check out for any reason and kept telling all the guests the same thing so everyone would know that the luggage was free game. He pretty much ruined out last morning in London.

Déplorable , la pire chose à dire est qu il y avait un énorme trou sur un des sommier, avec des bouts de bois dessus .Comment voulez vous dormir sur ça et proposer ce service a la clientèle ? Impossible de se plaindre car personne à l accueil la nuit . Le lendemain , j en informe l employé, qui fait mine de ne pas être au courant. Il me dit que le problème sera reglé dans 2 heures. Je reviens en fin de journée pensant que c était réglé. Je découvre qu ils ont juste rajouté une couette pour combler le trou du sommier. Bref , à fuir . Manager ne répond pas . Ps: impossible d envoyer les photos sous ce commentaire....

Great location for train stations, underground and city centre. Good communication. Friendly staff. Very clean. Felt safe. Would absolutely stay again. Is tired - basic. Not fancy hotel. Budget friendly. All emails prior to checking in said check out midday but it's 10am. Staff came shortly after 10am to say I'd overstayed and may need to pay extra. Sorted once showed emails but they need to sort out their automatic emails and correct information.

It’s not often we do London so we wanted to do it on a budget. Whilst the hotel is a bit tired it was warm and comfortable. The staff were brilliant and it’s ideally placed to get into the West End on foot very easily. We were able to drop off our bags before check in as we had theatre tickets booked for afternoon performance. You get what you pay for. It was fine for one night. Great rates. Thanks for a good stay.

Le réceptionniste de la nuit du mercredi 1 au jeudi 2 mai était horrible téléphone en haut parleur pendant des heures (il y était à 17h encore à 23h) Téléphone en bas qui a sonné à 3h du matin, plus les fadas de la cloche le matin à 7h30... Porte et fenêtres qui fermaient mal Pas d'alese sur les matelas c'est un minimum pour l'hygiène car cheveux d'autres personnes sur le matelas Pas de puces de lit en vue on a tout vérifier avant Douche propre mais un peu de javel sur les joints ça rafraîchirait un peu....faire réparer le bloc chasse d'eau qui bouge aussi pas mal (chambre 1)

An excellent hotel for central london. We didn't want to stay in a faceless brand and this was just like staying in a house. Yes, the building is old but for the locations it is wonderful. The room does get hot and it can be noisy with the window open. The staff are lovely and helped us with any questions we had. Cant wait to go back again!

The location is excellent. We found an amazing grocery store just a block away. Easy access to the metro and seemed like a safe place. Our room was on the top floor with no elevator, so we did lots of stair climbing. Can't beat the family room for the price in London.

All in all, a good hotel. Fantastic location – close to everything. One day we didn’t even use the metro. The hotel is a bit worn and could use a bit of TLC, but if it’s just for a place to sleep, there’s really nothing to complain about.

Small room and very small toilet. Very noisy during nighttime, both from traffic and other guests. Door in the entry very noisy (next to my room). My bed was made 1 time in 5 days. No changing of bed chlothes. No breakfast. I will not return.

Très déçu de l'établissement, la salle de bains est salle, poussière au dessus de la porte avec mouton qui pendent, la vmc est complètement salle et recouverte de saleté, la douche a un carreau de cassé, et le lave main car trop petit pour être un lavabo ne tiens a peine et bouge, le joint est tout décollé. Hôtel avec très peu d'entretien très vieux et en mauvais état. Pas de télévision seulement un écran d'ordinateur avec un boitier Amazon sur lequel on ne peut rien regarder car pas de compte et en plus il faut payé. Hôtel très bruyant les portes des couloirs grinces toutes et claques fort, idem bruit de la route. Aucune maintenance n'est faite dans l'hôtel. De plus pas de petit déjeuner alors que la salle de restaurant apparait sur les photos, mais il ont arrêté de le faire. Niveau du personnel un employé très agréable et très serviable, les autres vu correct mas pas plus.

Positivt: Svært hyggelig og serviceinnstilt hotellvert. Sentral beliggenhet. Minus: Dårlig sanitæranlegg, som oftest kun kaldt vann. Ikke speil på bad, skitten vannkoker. Dårlig internett. Har bodd på hotellet tidligere og da har det vært ok men vedlikehold burde nok proriteres. Betalte ca 4000.- for tre døgn uten frokost, så dette var siste opphold her.

L'hotel est simple mais propre . Très bien situé dans Londres et à proximité de toutes les commodités. Le personnel est agréable et accueillant . Dommage qu'une option English breakfast ne soit pas proposée .

Let me fair, Gower Street is not Mayfair. It's a cheap hotel option, in a central location. This is not the Ritz. For the price I paid, this hotel far exceeded my expectation. Very few hotels offer a private bathroom at this rate. My room (17) was clean, comfortable, and secure. That's all I needed. Shower was very good .. not one that was crammed into a corner not big enough for a sink that you find in some hotels. I would have liked a glass for water, and the TV remote didn't work properly, but I was very happy with my stay, and will use this hotel again ifI can get the same rate.
