Since the facility is away from the village the staffing is more difficult with the consequence that the meal and bar times are more rigid and the pool facilities (chairs and service) can get overwhelmed when they are near capacity - not so relaxing when you have to fight for a deck chair at the pool. O Convento de Belmonte é daqueles lugares que ao ir embora já se planeja o retorno. Para começar, a vista é maravilhosa! Somado a isto, a construção do edifício, em pedra, com espaços super aconchegantes e decoração caprichosa, tornam este espaço muitíssimo acolhedor. Perfeito para relaxar! A conservação e cuidado com o espaço é cinco estrelas. Tudo muito limpo e com um cheiro à spa. O restaurante do hotel é óptimo e todo o staff foi bastante atencioso e educado. Os únicos pontos a melhorar, ao meu ver, seriam: a temperatura da água do banho que, para mim, deixou a desejar e poderia ser mais quente (mas atenção, não estava fria nunca e mantém-se bem) e a cama/almofadas (que não foram dos mais confortáveis e também me deixaram a desejar no quesito conforto). Fora estes detalhes, todo o resto foi excepcional. Um lugar mesmo especial para o qual desejo, sem dúvida, voltar muitas vezes.

We stayed in a deluxe room but although the other rooms are smaller, we all got to share the ambiance of the hotel. It is simply amazing no matter what the weather was doing. Breakfast was terrific. There were so many little alcoves to read, write, chat or plan your next adventure. This is our number one choice for Portugal.
