Très bel endroit doté d’un Sky bar très agréable Personnel très agréable et profesionnel Je conseille fortement ce bel hôtel proche de la plage et des restaurants La formule demi pension est variée gambas paella bœuf bref pour tous les goûts Je conseille le massage de Veronica très professionnelle Petit bémol pas de parking mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé plus que cela on trouve une place assez vite

This is a super nice hotel. Great location within walking distance to the beach. Lovely pool, hot tubs and sauna. 3-4 really good restaurants adjacent to the hotel. Plus a bar in the lobby open until 11 pm. Excellent value.

Great small hotel, close to bars, beach and town centre. Heated outdoor pool and hot tubs were lovely, always a spare sun bed available and the cocktails were fab ! The roof top bar was closed during our stay but we were not told this on check in.

Den store positive ved opholdet i slutningen af november var den udendørs opvarmede pool samt spa. Vi fik 2 vindstille dage hvor det var muligt at tage en dukkert. God og venlig service i forbindelse med billeje og madpakker til lufthavnen. Morgenmaden varieret og fremragende. Hotellet havde dog kun en standard buffet ifm aftensmaden.

Despite its four-star claims, the Essence Hotel in Torremolinos delivered a disappointing experience from start to finish. The front desk staff were consistently rude and unhelpful, making even simple requests feel like an inconvenience. Although I was given a voucher for a welcome drink, I was met with eye-rolling from the bartender when I tried to redeem it — which made me wonder why they offer it at all. Towel service was frustrating: not mentioned at check-in, only available at the front desk, and limited to one exchange per day before 3:00 PM. When I inquired, I was ignored for five minutes while the staff took a phone call, and I eventually walked away. I was also given no help when I asked for dining recommendations near the beach, assistance with mailing a stamped postcard, or even directions to the nearest mailbox — ironically, my Uber driver was far more helpful than anyone at the hotel. Because of the poor service, I avoided spending another cent on the property, including dining. The dismissive attitude left no desire to support the hotel further. The facilities looked nice but didn’t function well — the A/C had no fan control, and the bathroom fan blasted every time you turned on the light. Nous avions séjourné dans cet établissement une semaine au mois d'avril et nous avions été très satisfaits. Nous sommes donc revenus dans cet hôtel pour un nouveau séjour de 15 jours cette fois, mais là, nous n'avons plus été enchantés du tout. Nous avions certes opté pour une chambre toute simple, mais nous nous sommes demandés si on ne nous avait pas attribué la chambre la plus "moche" de l'hôtel, notamment la salle de bain qui était vraiment désuète : une vieille armoire de toilette des années 70, aucun meuble pour poser ses affaires, des iules dans la douche... D'après ce qu'on pouvait voir, les chambres d'à côté disposaient de salles de bain plus attrayantes ! Pas sympa de nous donner cette chambre quand on reste pour 14 nuités ! En plus, deux jours avant notre départ, nous avons eu une invasion de fourmis dans la chambre, il y en avait partout, même dans le lit ! Le service technique est bien intervenu pour vaporiser des insecticides puissants, si bien qu'il n'était plus possible de séjourner dans la chambre, et comme apparemment l'hôtel était plein, on a du passer nos deux dernières nuits dans un autre hôtel. Par ailleurs, contrairement à notre séjour d'avril, la piscine n'était plus chauffée en septembre. Enfin, l'ascenseur était en panne lors de notre départ précipité ! Un cauchemar. Bref, totale déception. Nous ne reviendrons plus dans cet hôtel.

Väldigt bra läge, inte så stort hotell så det kändes väldigt trevligt. Balkong med lite havsutsikt. Utmärkt frukost och varm pool (december) även om vi inte badade. Det enda tråkiga var att det luktade mögel i badrummet.

A wonderful stay overall. The hotel was spotless, with good amenities, delicious food, and welcoming staff. This hotel is just excellent. The quirky decor is really unusual( even the skull shaped urinal in the gents). Thanks to the staff the place is spotless. Will more than likely be back.

Spent 8 days here over the Christmas period. As a solo traveller it was perfect. Room was cleaned daily along with all the communal areas which were spotless. The heated pool and jacuzzi were amazing for a stay in December. Situated close to the beach/promenade. I was room only so cannot comment on food. A perfect stay. I will definitely return

The hotel is in a great location. Breakfast was really good for reasonable price. The rooms are a bit small but well appointed. Very nice pool area. The roof top bar was closed for the season. One criticism is the blow dryers connected to the wall in the bathroom. Just hate these.

It was a great 3 night stay, the facilities were great, staff friendly and for a couple the hotel had everything we would need or want. Only downer for us was the room location. Directly above the main entrance so heard everyone coming and going very clearly, facing a main road with buses and Lorrie’s going up and down and internally opposite the lift and stairs so heard everyone on our floor coming and going. We would absolutely visit again but request a different room location if possible.
It was a great 3 night stay, the facilities were great, staff friendly and for a couple the hotel had everything we would need or want. Only downer for us was the room location. Great hotel right in the middle of Torremolinos, 5 mins walk to the beach and shops etc.. Staff were great, very helpful, the only area that could be better was around the noise, it was hard to sleep as right outside is a busy road and the windows are not sound proof.. But overall a very good experience, highly recommended!

Stayed at the Bali Junior suit and were very impressed.. nice big room with panorama window with distant sea views, seating area and comfy bed, but best was the hanging basket chair, very nice pool area with heated outside pool was very welcomed, very good breakfast and helpful staff.

Great hotel with good value for money in a quiet part of town. Only feedback is towels were very budget and the front desk could have been more helpful and friendly on a few occasions.

Staff was very welcoming and friendly informative. Pool and jacuzzi were open 24/7. Towels available. Beach 1 block away for scenic walk either left or right on boardwalk. Breakfast was decent. Would stay there again.

Despite its four-star claims, the Essence Hotel in Torremolinos delivered a disappointing experience from start to finish. The front desk staff were consistently rude and unhelpful, making even simple requests feel like an inconvenience. Staff were friendly and helpful, the buffet style food in the evening was varied from huge kegs of lamb to chicken paella, prawn salads, fruit, all sorts all freshly cooked and delicious. The room was a great size, very clean and well kitted out. Couldn’t fault it all! Will definitely return.

The hotel is in a great location. Breakfast was really good for reasonable price. The rooms are a bit small but well appointed. Very nice pool area. The roof top bar was closed for the season. One criticism is the blow dryers connected to the wall in the bathroom. Just hate these.

Great hotel right in the middle of Torremolinos, 5 mins walk to the beach and shops etc.. Staff were great, very helpful, the only area that could be better was around the noise, it was hard to sleep as right outside is a busy road and the windows are not sound proof.. But overall a very good experience, highly recommended!

the hotel has the ambition to be a 4 star, but has some way to go. the reception staff were very nice and helpful especially like to mention, Alexsander and Patricia.The breakfast buffe, was good but started only 08.30. the hotel has a very good location, 3 minutes walk to beach, ca 15-20 minutes to airport and ca 8-10 minutes by car to Plaza Mayor the big shopping center.

Lite jazz (då och då) eller något annat förutom schlager, hade varit precis i samma nivån med resten av hotellet. Rummet vi fick hade en 140 säng, som var liten för 2 personer (min man är >180cm). Vi blev glada att veta att det fanns andra typ av sängar. Madrassen var inte så bekväm, men trotts det, kommer vi tillbaks nästa år! Servicen var fantastico!

We had a great 5 day break at this hotel. The location was ideal, 15 mins by Uber to the airport, a stones throw from the beach and all the food and drink outlets close by. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and varied to suit all tastes. Didn't use the pool but it looked nice. All areas were kept spotlessly clean. I would recommend this place very highly as a base in Torremolinos.

Hôtel très bien situé à Torremolinos, facile d'accès en venant par le train (12 mn à pied) et de "taille humaine". Nous avons apprécié le calme au sein de cet établissement, que ce soit aux abords de la piscine, dans la salle de restauration ou dans les couloirs. Le personnel est très sympathique et prévenant. Nous avions choisi la suite Bali. La chambre est très confortable et bien équipée, la literie de bonne qualité. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent, avec beaucoup de choix et un très bon café. La piscine d'eau de mer à 29° est un plus certain. Bref, nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans cet établissement et y avons déjà réservé un prochain séjour en septembre, mais cette fois-ci avec une chambre côté piscine (car nous avons trouvé la rue assez bruyante la nuit).

Personal immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Simmer nicht groß aber ausreichend. Der Fön ist allerdings schrecklich. Styling ist damit unmöglich. Die süßen Sachen beim Frühstück sind leider nicht frisch sondern schmecken wie abgepacktes. Das restliche Frühstück aber hervorragend.

Den store positive ved opholdet i slutningen af november var den udendørs opvarmede pool samt spa. Vi fik 2 vindstille dage hvor det var muligt at tage en dukkert. God og venlig service i forbindelse med billeje og madpakker til lufthavnen. Morgenmaden varieret og fremragende. Hotellet havde dog kun en standard buffet ifm aftensmaden.

Staff near excellent, paid for breakfast but unfortunately they weren’t flexible about allowing us to take a pastry when we had to be up a little early for tours/flights. Pool was really nice, but needed a few leaves bugs picked out. The hot tub and bar on the top of the hotel SUBLIME. Dinner options although nice were slightly limited.
