The Cozy Cabin was just as explained. Everything needed was right at our fingertips and labeled in the cabin (right down to first aid supplies if needed). As soon as we walked in we felt welcomed as there was even food in the refrigerator and freezer with a note to help ourselves. There were also pamphlets for area things to do. It was above our expectations!

I wanted to bring my Mom to see the absolutely gorgeous scenery in Potter County and Richard's Quiet Cozy Home was the perfect base for us for the week. The fact that my dog was welcome too was the icing on the cake. It was so comforting to know that while I was hiking and exploring on foot, Mom was able to relax and enjoy all the comforts of home in a place that was comfortable, safe, and had beautiful spaces she could sit and enjoy the surrounding hills and trees. The first few days of our stay were damp and rainy, so it felt great not to be right on top of each other when we couldn't be out and about. The house has everything you need - a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable clean beds, internet, TV/streaming channels, and is pretty quiet considering it is right on route 872. Yes, you could hear cars going by, but the large trees at the edge of the property dampened most of the sound and lights. It was really nice to have the washer and dryer as well, knowing that was there meant I could pack a bit lighter! Richard is so kind and accommodating - answering any and all questions I had, having the house very organized so you knew where to find just about everything, and having instructions on how to work things that might have given my mom a little trouble otherwise. Plus, what a lovely gesture to have fresh-made muffins and a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived! The house was a real home away from home and we will DEFINITELY be booking again! Thanks so much!

This was such a lovely place to stay. Instructions were clear, checking in a breeze, and being greeted with a 2 liter of soda and homemade cupcakes was a real treat. The kitchen was well stocked, including condiments and several frozen pizzas and pot pies were available. I love that there wasn’t a cumbersome list of check-out chores. Richard is a great, thoughtful host who labeled all of the cabinets so everything was easy to find. Thanks to his bin of children’s toys, we made some unexpected memories playing games with our son and were content to just relax and be together instead of out doing things all the time. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the quiet cozy home. Everything was so clean. We had a bottle of wine and muffins upon arrival. Snow removal was excellent. The owners were so pleasant and friendly. We would stay again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay.

KEEP LOOKING! DON'T STAY HERE! All counters were dirty. Had to clean all counters before using. Refrigerator was dirty and disgusting. Had to put paper towels down in the refrigerator before putting our food in there. Beds appeared to be slept in. Shower was dirty. The bath towels had hair on them. Bathroom sink counter dirty with hair on it. The water has an awful strong egg smell that makes you sick and smells through out the property. When you first enter this place it seems fine till you start checking everything. We were supposed to be there 3 nights and had to leave the next morning cause I got so sick from the sulfer egg smell plus how dirty we felt staying there. We contacted the owner and he ignored my messages. Owner refuses to give a refund for the nights we didn’t stay. Coudersport is a Beautiful area! This place is not! DO NOT STAY HERE!

This is one of my favorite areas in the country for a reason & staying here only added to the experience. The beds are cozy, the house is warm, and there were tons of snacks & a bottle of wine waiting for us! Highly recommend here & will definitely book again when I'm back in the area.

This has to be the best VRBO we have stayed at. It was so comfy and homey. The peace and tranquility was amazing. All the extras were great. The wine, chocolates, gift cards and Anniversary Card were a very thoughtful touch. And the visiting deer were amazing to see so close. Definitely would love to come stay again.

There are so many nice things to say, both about this place and the host, Mr. Snyder. -For starters, the listing itself is not only detailed, but very transparent. Everything is spelled out along with suggestions for activities in the area, and even has a list of local events going on along with dates! For example, we stayed April 20th - 22nd and saw there was an antique show going on that we had no idea about. -Although we did not need one, it is also worth mentioning that the house is ADA-accessable as the host has a handicap ramp availabile upon request. -The host was very responsive. He made sure to communicate at least one week prior to the stay to let us know what to expect, how to get to the house, get inside, etc. -We were greeted with fresh-baked muffins and a nice bottle of wine. Very classy, very nice touch. -Everything inside the house is labeled for extra transparency. Need to find dishes? Need to find extra bed linens? All of it is easy to find. -The host has a binder with a compilation of activities, restaurants and other things to do in the area. In addition to this, there are informational pamphlets available for every activity you could imagine, from fishing, to hiking, wine trails, museums and other tourist attractions, so there will always be something you can find to do. Thanks to his bin of children’s toys, we made some unexpected memories playing games with our son and were content to just relax and be together instead of out doing things all the time. We would definitely stay here again!

KEEP LOOKING! DON'T STAY HERE! All counters were dirty. Had to clean all counters before using. Refrigerator was dirty and disgusting. Had to put paper towels down in the refrigerator before putting our food in there. Beds appeared to be slept in. Shower was dirty. The bath towels had hair on them. Bathroom sink counter dirty with hair on it. The water has an awful strong egg smell that makes you sick and smells through out the property. When you first enter this place it seems fine till you start checking everything. We were supposed to be there 3 nights and had to leave the next morning cause I got so sick from the sulfer egg smell plus how dirty we felt staying there. We contacted the owner and he ignored my messages. Owner refuses to give a refund for the nights we didn’t stay. Coudersport is a Beautiful area! This place is not! DO NOT STAY HERE!

I wanted to bring my Mom to see the absolutely gorgeous scenery in Potter County and Richard's Quiet Cozy Home was the perfect base for us for the week. The fact that my dog was welcome too was the icing on the cake. It was so comforting to know that while I was hiking and exploring on foot, Mom was able to relax and enjoy all the comforts of home in a place that was comfortable, safe, and had beautiful spaces she could sit and enjoy the surrounding hills and trees. The first few days of our stay were damp and rainy, so it felt great not to be right on top of each other when we couldn't be out and about. The house has everything you need - a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable clean beds, internet, TV/streaming channels, and is pretty quiet considering it is right on route 872. Yes, you could hear cars going by, but the large trees at the edge of the property dampened most of the sound and lights. It was really nice to have the washer and dryer as well, knowing that was there meant I could pack a bit lighter! Richard is so kind and accommodating - answering any and all questions I had, having the house very organized so you knew where to find just about everything, and having instructions on how to work things that might have given my mom a little trouble otherwise. Plus, what a lovely gesture to have fresh-made muffins and a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived! The house was a real home away from home and we will DEFINITELY be booking again! Thanks so much!

The property was perfectly located about 2 miles from Coudersport and about 10-15 minutes from Cherry Springs State Park. Very cozy and inviting. The house was clean and supplied with everything you would need for your stay plus some extra personal touches from the very thoughtful property managers. We will definitely stay again.

The Cozy Cabin was just as explained. Everything needed was right at our fingertips and labeled in the cabin (right down to first aid supplies if needed). As soon as we walked in we felt welcomed as there was even food in the refrigerator and freezer with a note to help ourselves. There were also pamphlets for area things to do. It was above our expectations!

This is one of my favorite areas in the country for a reason & staying here only added to the experience. The beds are cozy, the house is warm, and there were tons of snacks & a bottle of wine waiting for us! Highly recommend here & will definitely book again when I'm back in the area.

My wife and I really enjoyed the place. Liked the muffins that Richard left. We enjoyed the front and back porches. Our dogs loved the yard, plenty of room for them to run. I would definitely recommend this place.

This has to be the best VRBO we have stayed at. It was so comfy and homey. The peace and tranquility was amazing. All the extras were great. The wine, chocolates, gift cards and Anniversary Card were a very thoughtful touch. And the visiting deer were amazing to see so close. Definitely would love to come stay again.
