We stayed here for Carnivale and Valentine's Day, five nights with breakfast as part of a flight-hotel package. Hotel staff were all very kind and lovely. Continental breakfast had hot options and were plentiful; there is also tea, espresso drinks, and biscuits available for guests in the afternoons in the lounge. Esperesso machine in room with pods is free, with paid mini-bar fridge options. The room size was generous and very warm with an adjustable thermostat; we were cozy despite the cold weather outside. Quiet area yet close to a main street and easily accessible to the main areas of Venice. Small extras that made it exceptional were: packed breakfast when we had to leave early the next morning; Valentine's Day chocolates left for us to enjoy fo free in the room. Only small complaint is that there isn't a Smart TV and therefore no English entertainment options, and a repeated sound like a sliding door upstairs (maybe a water pump?) would disturb light sleepers.

Fabulous hotel and great location. Just of the main thoroughfares to be peaceful but so close to absolutely everything. The staff were all extremely helpful, facilities great. Right on the water so super easy for taxi tansfer pick up and drop (which we would highly recommend as well)

Highly recommend this hotel for a 2 night pre cruise stay! We took a water taxi from Venice Airport to our hotel which is an incredible way to arrive in Venice. They dropped us off within a 3 minute walk to the hotel. Room was great with a bedroom loft and small balcony. Staff was very attentive and gave excellent tips to improve our stay. They even lent us 2 power adapters to use during our stay. Complimentary afternoon snack buffet too. When it was time to get to Trieste to board our cruise we simply took the water taxi which was a 3 minute walk to board and then a 15 minute ride. Pre purchase your train ticket and take an early train to avoid missing your cruise. Stop searching for your Venice hotel and book this one!

The breakfast was great. The staff were super nice and helpful. They offered to store bags after we checked out so that we could go explore the city. They had refreshments and pastries throughout the day. Free water. The Expedia stay got us a free bottle of wine. Overall in our week in Italy this was the best hotel we stayed at.

we love staying at this property. Front desk employees were so friendly and so helpful, guiding us through shopping options and giving us maps so that we could find our way through the maze of streets in Venice. The breakfast options in the morning were really good and tasty and the snacks provided in the dining room during the day were a refreshing option

The hotel is in an excellent central location near the sites of interest and a few minutes fron The Grand Canal.The hotel has its own water docking station (subject to water levels in the canal routes) as on arriving we were dropped off nearby a few minutes walk. The hotel has a small but adequate breakfast room proving a good selection of food. Hot food Bacon, scrambled eggs and special supplented cost orders on request. Good quality food and service. 24 hr reception provide friendly excellent guide information and assisted with return water taxi confirmation. A minor negative there is no lounge area/bar or english tv channels. but not a problem for us. The premier bedroom was large and well decorated with a good ensuite. We would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel if returning for a Venice stay.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Italy 🇮🇹. Nada was very nice and friendly she welcomed me warmly, explained everything about the hotel, and even gave me a map with helpful tips to explore the city. The rooms are modern, spotless, and beautifully decorated I especially loved the green color theme. The location is also great: just a 4-minute walk to the water taxi and about 15–30 minutes from the main attractions, depending on your pace. Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. I truly enjoyed my stay here!

The built-in air heat pumps along the walls in the room were dirty at the air intakes. I lifted the cover, and it turned out they are never cleaned, mold mixed with dust. Otherwise, very beautiful rooms in a classic older style with fabric wallpapers. During breakfast, we were constantly observed by a young girl who was probably instructed by top management to attend to guests – not her fault. The boild eggs was cold..

It’s a beautiful hotel on a canal! We had a full wall of windows overlooking the canal and it was wonderful. The location was also quiet and out-of-the-way, but still close to main areas like the Rialto Bridge, restaurants, and shopping.

This hotel was beautiful and our room was incredibly comfortable and spacious for a family of 3. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. We loved the breakfast buffet and the easy walking distance to so many shops, restaurants, and attractions. This hotel is also just a 5 minute walk to the the main water bus that goes to the Marco Polo airport, so it was very convenient on our departure day.

Maison Venezia was a wonderful place to stay in Venice! The hotel is a beautiful Venetian style. The decor in the rooms keeps with the Venetian style, which is neat! They do seem a bit outdated and old, our floors had a slant and stains in the carpet, which was not ideal. But the staff was very helpful in providing a map and directions around the city! The location is away from the main hustle&bustle of town, which was so nice as it was quiet at night. It's a quick three minute walk to get onto the main road in town with lots of dining and shopping options. It was about a 20 minute walk to St. Mark's square.

This was such a lovely hotel with a view of a quiet canal on a street that wasn't chaotic like the rest of Venice, which we really appreciated. Overall getting to Venice is quite an undertaking (especially with big luggage) but this hotel made it worthwhile. They offer a daily afternoon tea that was a pleasant surprise; it included coffee, tea, water and some snacks which is so nice after a long day of travel. The breakfast wasn't great, so that is one thing I would do differently: go elsewhere for breakfast. We booked a large room that was amazing, with really high ceilings and a lot of space in the room. The bathroom, however, was very European, aka TINY, but the larger bedroom made it worthwhile.

We had a wonderful stay at Maison Venezia. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our Suite was so spacious and elegantly decorated with classic Venetian style in green with fancy chandeliers. It was clean and comfortable with a nice view. Luxury toiletries were provided in the bathroom. Breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious. The location is safe and quiet, but convenient. It is only about 15 mins walking to St. Mark's Square and other attractions. Private water taxi is just next door. Definitely will come back again!!!

A very reasonably priced hotel in Venice overlooking a canal and extremely walkable to all the sights in Venice. Easy to get to from the boat stop (beware pickpockets!). Room was very spacious - we had a suite as my husband and I were travelling with our 20year old daughter and there was a large sofa bed made up for her in the sitting room that she said was comfortable. Friendly and professional staff who were also very welcoming to our dog

The property was very nice ... no complaints there. But it is advertised as having A/C and there was NOT any A/C. Because it was April and not later in the year they said they do not turn on the A/C until it is much hotter. So needless to say our room felt like a sauna. It was very uncomfortable to try to sleep and just relax.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Italy 🇮🇹. Nada was very nice and friendly she welcomed me warmly, explained everything about the hotel, and even gave me a map with helpful tips to explore the city. The rooms are modern, spotless, and beautifully decorated I especially loved the green color theme. The location is also great: just a 4-minute walk to the water taxi and about 15–30 minutes from the main attractions, depending on your pace. Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. I truly enjoyed my stay here!

The staff was very helpful and accommodating for our group of 14. They helped us print tickets, schedule taxi’s etc. Water taxi pickup is right outside. The hotel is within 3 minutes walking distance to shopping, 7 minutes to gondolas and 15 minutes to major attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at this hotel in Venice was nothing short of a nightmare. We were placed in room on the second floor—a dirty, stuffy space with a broken safe, a non-functioning air conditioner, broken closet door, and a suffocating atmosphere that made it nearly impossible to sleep. The floor was slanted, making it impossible to keep anything steady on the table, and the hairdryer was useless—its stand broken and the device itself not working. To make matters worse, there was an exposed and broken outlet in the bathroom, a serious safety hazard considering the 220-volt electricity supply. Despite being advertised with a canal view, the only glimpse we got was by bending awkwardly out the window. On the first night, unable to endure the heat and lack of air, we had to be moved in the middle of the night to another room temporarily, leaving our belongings behind. The next morning, no manager was available to address the situation, no matter how many times we asked. Simon, one of the hotel attendants, promised us a refund for the first night and swore he would resign if the refund wasn’t processed. It's now been nearly two weeks since our return, and we’ve heard nothing. We've sent follow-up emails, and while they continue to request our bank information, no refund has been issued. This hotel is run by unprofessionals, and if there is a manager, they clearly don’t care about their guests’ experiences. If you're thinking about staying here—be my guest. But don't say you weren't warned.

Highly recommend this hotel for a 2 night pre cruise stay! We took a water taxi from Venice Airport to our hotel which is an incredible way to arrive in Venice. They dropped us off within a 3 minute walk to the hotel. Room was great with a bedroom loft and small balcony. Staff was very attentive and gave excellent tips to improve our stay. They even lent us 2 power adapters to use during our stay. Complimentary afternoon snack buffet too. When it was time to get to Trieste to board our cruise we simply took the water taxi which was a 3 minute walk to board and then a 15 minute ride. Pre purchase your train ticket and take an early train to avoid missing your cruise. Stop searching for your Venice hotel and book this one!

The breakfast was great. The staff were super nice and helpful. They offered to store bags after we checked out so that we could go explore the city. They had refreshments and pastries throughout the day. Free water. The Expedia stay got us a free bottle of wine. Overall in our week in Italy this was the best hotel we stayed at.

This property was wonderful and so perfectly located in a nice neighborhood. My husband got very ill and had to have emergency surgery. The staff given the circumstances were absolutely amazing with their support and were so helpful. The manager, Anis (sp?) I can not say enough about how great she was! I would stay there again.

The hotel was very conveniently situated in a quiet area very close to the Grand Canal and many excellent restaurants. The staff at the hotel were phenomenal! They made us feel right at home when we arrived soggy and groggy at 7:00AM after an overnight train ride. As our room was available and we were soaked from the rain getting to the hotel from the train station, they saved the day by letting us check in early. What a pleasant surprise, only to be followed by a complimentary chilled bottle of Prosecco and Italian biscuits and welcoming note when we returned from our first foray exploring Venice. The people at the front desk were also very helpful in making recommendations for where to dine close by to the hotel. The breakfast at the hotel was also wonderful. In summary, I couldn’t say enough good things about this hotel. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay in Venice.

The staff was extremely helpful, and the breakfast buffet was better than we were expecting. The breakfast buffet had lots of choices - not just a bunch of different breads. This hotel is a little off of the beaten path, which makes it quiet at night. The rooms are a bit outdated, but that did not take away from our experience. We would stay here again.

It’s a beautiful hotel on a canal! We had a full wall of windows overlooking the canal and it was wonderful. The location was also quiet and out-of-the-way, but still close to main areas like the Rialto Bridge, restaurants, and shopping.

This hotel was beautiful and our room was incredibly comfortable and spacious for a family of 3. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. We loved the breakfast buffet and the easy walking distance to so many shops, restaurants, and attractions. This hotel is also just a 5 minute walk to the the main water bus that goes to the Marco Polo airport, so it was very convenient on our departure day.

The property is lovely and located at the end of a quiet street. The staff were helpful and friendly in every interaction. It felt like we had easy access to the main attractions without too much walking and could easily retreat back to our hotel when we wanted. Being kind of tucked away from the main piazzas allowed us to stroll past many local restaurants and cafes that were delicious and less expensive than those in the touristy areas. The only downsides were that the A/C struggled to keep up with the heat, the shower needed maintenance, and the onsite breakfast was a little pricey. That said, we definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend to a friend.

Beautiful property with high quality Venetian decor. Quiet, superb location away from hustle and bustle of tourist areas though with very easy access to major visitor sites. Excellent quick access to the airport boat and easy access to the other boat routes. Excellent customer service.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The rooms have an old-world sophistication to them and are generously large. Breakfast was great and had lots of options. The staff was friendly and the location safe and quite. We visited in April and didnt need AC but only by opening the windows which let in the mosquitos as there are no screens on the windows :( thats about the only thing we had to complain about. Front desk told me they only turn on AC during the summer.

This was such a lovely hotel with a view of a quiet canal on a street that wasn't chaotic like the rest of Venice, which we really appreciated. Overall getting to Venice is quite an undertaking (especially with big luggage) but this hotel made it worthwhile. They offer a daily afternoon tea that was a pleasant surprise; it included coffee, tea, water and some snacks which is so nice after a long day of travel. The breakfast wasn't great, so that is one thing I would do differently: go elsewhere for breakfast. We booked a large room that was amazing, with really high ceilings and a lot of space in the room. The bathroom, however, was very European, aka TINY, but the larger bedroom made it worthwhile.

I almost never take the time to write a review, but we simply fell in love with this hotel. First, the location was in a very quiet residential neighborhood that was only a 2-min walk from all the hustle and bustle of Venice. Perfect combination. And the reception staff were simply the BEST. We hated to say goodbye to Neda, who made us feel like family with her immense warmth and knowledge. She made the best restaurant recommendations! Grazie per il meraviglioso soggiorno!!
