First of all, there was a big cockroach in the bathroom and it scared the crap out of me. The bathroom was decent and the sleeping area was comfortable. There was light switches for every single light/fan which I thought was hilarious. The TV was cable and didn’t have anything to watch while I was here. Walgreens is right next door so that’s cool. The pool was clean and 8ft which was surprising. The air was good/great. Enjoyed my time.

Very affordable while safe and quiet with free parking. Looks like an old Holiday Inn but it has been refurbished and updated. Clean, basic room with a fridge. For the money, a very good deal.

I have stayed here on several occasions as it is very near the golf course I like to play. It has a very nice property with a large pool with a covered area. The nearby gazebo area is a nice place to sit in the evening.

a day ago New Vacation | Family On Saturday my husband and I had a room reserved at this hotel for 2 nights, upon arriving to check in and entering our room 123 I found one of the sheets with visibly blood stains, upon entering the bathroom inside the toilet there was a small metal object something that looked like a baby bra, there were loose hairs on the bathroom floor signs that the room was not ready waiting for guests, on the TV table there was a piece of chewing gum a sign that they never cleaned there, seeing all that filth we decided to cancel the night we had left because that room made me nauseous and I was already so assisted that I did not want to experiment in another room. We called our company Orbis to cancel and the customer service guy told us he would contact us as soon as they processed the cancellation and gave us the steps to follow, we went to the front desk to check in the room and there was a guy of Indian origin who I don't know if he suffers from a sleep disorder but he was lying in his chair and had more than 5 clients calling him loudly and he didn't respond, I yelled a little

We stayed 5 night and supposed to get room service and clean twice, but got none. We had to reused the same towels for all 5 nights and trash was not empty and stacking up since we usually came back late and had to get food to go. Bed sheets were stained. There was a big dead cockroach on the floor the night we checked in. We will not be coming back to this place.

When we arrived to the hotel after a long day of traveling, we went right up to the room. As soon as we got in there there were bugs EVERYWHERE. The bathroom was filled with bugs and so was the sink. The place smelled like cigarettes, the toilet wasn’t cleaned. The place was horrible overall. We ended up walking right out. We left and went to book another hotel. I called the man at the front desk explaining our experience for the 10 seconds that we were there. He didn’t even say sorry. All he could say was “ okay call tomorrow to see if you could get a refund”

The room was less than ideal. The bathroom was dirty. There were hairs in the shower and floor from the previous guests. The towels were dirty and had stains. Then the bed sheets had holes and stains. Then I wasn't sure if there were extended guests but it felt like it was a place for people who needed temporary housing. Although the staff was nice, I wouldn't stay there again.

The place was filthy. Dead bugs everywhere and stains on the beds and towels. Horrible smell when you walk in the room. Odd acting guess outside of there rooms being loud and smoking. Saw a guy throw up on the floor less than a hour after arriving. Service was nice but I would never stay here again.

Rodeway Sun City Center was recently remodeled. Perfectly adequate, maybe a little better. White lighting in hotel room is a little harsh, light up mirror was nice, could use some more pillows and the coffee is terrible.

Staff was great. My room was clean, but there was paint scuffed off on the bathroom door and the dresser had seen better days. The oddest thing was that there was no table and chairs by the window, which you normally find. There was no seating other than the bed and desk chair. My bed was comfy though and the A/C worked well.

Check-in was great. Room was adequate, comfy enough, and outside of the bathroom things seemed clean/new. The bathroom on the other hand: the area in front of the toilet was very dirty - didn’t love seeing old pee - and there were moldy looking areas. Two other little things - 1) there was really no blanket. There was a comforter and top sheet. Very odd. 2) the lighting was all a harsh, bright white. Felt like I was in an office space. How about some soft whites?

The room was very clean, but spartan and utilitarian. I only needed the room for less than 12. hours. We had a sports event that we didnt' want to drive three hours in the morning for so we opted to drive ovrer the night before and get a solid 9 and a half hours of sleep.

The view was outstanding overlooking the pool and conveniently located. Wish it had a microwave. One of the beds had an issue as it made a very loud sound when laying on it, just an fyi to fix it for the future (room 206). Would definitely stay again!!

This is an older motel that is doing the best it can. If you check on after hours, you are not permmitted to go into the lobby. Rooms have laminate floor that was clean. The beds were extremly comfortable! They used microfiber sheets on our bed. Not my preferance, but they were clean.

The hot water did not work, the mini fridge in the room was broken and did not get cold. the smoke detector alarm kept chirping due to a dead battery. they claimed they had coffee instead of breakfast and still didn’t have coffee. The staff was very helpful and seemed truly concerned, but a fix for these problems was not offered during my stay. When I asked to move to a different room, I was told they were sold out of rooms.

Did not stay there. Check in person was very rude to me. Wanted to check in a little early about 2:20 to drop off my bags and continue with my business, but he was adament about the time and would not let me see the room or check in. I told him that there was nobody there and the parking lot was EMPTY...NO CARS. I told him about my business and would be away for a few hours, but he told that I would have to come back! I told him that I did not have to come back and that his attitude to me was unacceptable. I told him to cancel my reservation. He said that I would be charged for 1 night, that was their policy. I told him that if you charge me I would fight the charge with me credit card company, for treating a customer like that! And my review about HOTELS.COM and the RODEWAY INN SUN CITY CENTER would not be the review that you would want to see if you know what I mean.

Room 118: The toilet in my room didn’t have any bolts securing it to the floor. Every time I used it, it would move. Front desk staff was rude and rarely accessible. Other guests were talking loudly and sweating outside my door for over an hour.

This stay was booked for music performers and upon arrival witnessed an argument between the manager and a tenant about the lack of service and unsanitary conditions. Then the manager proceeded to tell our guests that the rooms were not available because the party had more than two guests per room. We called the hotel directly but a loud fax machine received our call. We had to book another hotel despite already having a charge for the rooms. Hotel.com representative tried to call the hotel but no answer as well. We recommend this Hotel be removed from Hotel.com.

We got there and had to change rooms 3 times. 1st room door did not lock, 2nd room had black mold the owner said dust which my husband works in construction ot was black mold. The 3rd room we just settled for it still was not clean. Then the owner accused us of smoking in room when we did not and was very rude about it. Yet the final room we stayed in had burn holes in sheets and one blanket. The best thing about the stay was the pool. That is it. I would not recommend wasting money here when you can go right up the road and have breakfast and nicer rooms.

No breakfast of any kind. The in room coffee maker was operational but bare basics (enough to get you going). The bedding was pretty bare. CLEAN, but only A bottom sheet, a top sheet and a very thin bed cover for bottom half of the bed. There was no blanket on the bed or in the room and the heater actually had to be turned on for this Floridian to be comfortable. Outdoor temps hit the 60's. A bargain in the area during the Gasparilla weekend.

When it comes to getting your deposit back, they need to make it known to the guest to keep the receipt to get your deposit back. Also, no microwave or iron in the room. Had to keep spending money on food because I couldn’t reheat what I already had. Area was quiet but some minor updates will make this place better. Also, the coffee machine in the room isn’t clean and should be replaced.
