Hotel had free self parking, our room was comfortable and the bathroom was recently renovated. Great outside space, grounds were well manicured and provided a lovely place to sit with a drink. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

This boutique hotel is a gem. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. We dined in on our first night and after the meal, the chef came round and talked to each table.

We stayed one night at Parklands Hotel. Easy check in with friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable with a lovely modern bathroom. Situated on the edge of The Inch park and a short walk into town. Large free car park out the front on hotel, in which we were able to keep our car the next day. Would stay here again.

The staff at the Parklands were all incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel was spotless and comfortable throughout. There is a good sized carpark for guests coming by car and the hotel is really clise to the train station fir those coming by public transport. There was no lift to our room but it was only one flight of stairs. The view from our room was wonderful.

This older property is so well appointed, staffed and managed. Our room was fully modern yet not sterile feeling, and the en suite shower perfect for us - order in advance. In addition, the dinner fare at their restaurant was excellent. Located on the South Inch, with an easy walk to city centre. I regret that we only had a two-day stay.

Staff was so friendly! Was in a lovey area, could walk to restaurants and had easy parking right on site. Our room was very clean at check-in and breakfast was very good. We also enjoyed the bar which was well stocked with whiskies. Wonderful stay all around!

So where to start . On opening the room door we were hit with the overwhelming smell of bleach in the room. We opened the windows got ready and left to enjoy our day in Perth .On return the hotel lobby was in complete darkness with no one around at reception , arriving back in our room we were hit with the overpowering smell of dampness coming from the bathroom. We had to leave windows open all night which done little to hide the smell also not ideal with the room looking onto a railway line. On checkout we informed the gentleman working on the reception where his response was the toilet was renovated 6 months ago .The overall feeling was I was being made out to be a liar . On our return home I contacted hotels.com who spoke to the hotel who refused to offer anything for the uncomfortable night stating that we only reported it at checkout. We only reported at checkout as stated earlier the reception was in darkness when we returned and didn’t feel it merited contacting the emergency line.

This was a very nice hotel for a short stay. It is just a few minutes from the station, and the centre of Perth is no more than a 10 minute walk. The shower room was new and worked well - good water pressure - and the room although a bit small, was entirely adequate for our needs. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We would stay again when next in Perth.

Hotel and staff were lovely. It is a nice hotel with comfortable beds. The garden in the front is nice to sit out or walk through. Just note it is adjacent to the train and a busy road along one side and the train is very noisy. It does die down later in the evening but starts up early in the morning.

A lovely hotel in a very central location for Perth. It would have been nice to have a good fan as our room faced the sun and was warm, and the existing fan / heater really was not up to the job. I did mention this on check out and they made a note, and I’m also appreciative of the fact that they probably don’t have people complaining it’s too warm! Food was fabulous. We had both dinner ( an amazing lamb with asparagus and an anchovie sauce ) and breakfast, perfect eggs and salmon

Great location, very comfortable and spacious room, free parking. Unfortunately did not sleep well, wind rattled our window in the window pane, making a taping noise for a couple hours and since we were on the ground floor we could hear whenever someone was walking above us so we were woken up quite early. Would stay again on the condition we were put on a room on the top floor.

Absolutely loved our stay, room was extra extra large was like staying in an apartment rather than a hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel. Only 1 sour point would be either add more pillows to the beds or try thicker pillows other than that we had a wonderful stay.

The Parklands is a lovely old Victorian property with modern facilties which do not compromise its character in any way. The staff were very helpful. The food was lovely. The train station is 300 yards away, but walled off so theres no sound from there. I would return.

Great location on the edge of the CBD, with plentiful free parking. Older property,but maintained well enough. Good cuisine in the dining room. Breakfast no included in the room rate, but worth getting here regardless. Very good food. Room was up a few stairs and roomy and comfortable. Window opens for fresh air, and closes well for quiet. Didn't even notice the adjacent train station until we went for a walk.

Hotel and staff were lovely. It is a nice hotel with comfortable beds. The garden in the front is nice to sit out or walk through. Just note it is adjacent to the train and a busy road along one side and the train is very noisy. It does die down later in the evening but starts up early in the morning.

We stayed one night at Parklands Hotel. Easy check in with friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable with a lovely modern bathroom. Situated on the edge of The Inch park and a short walk into town. Large free car park out the front on hotel, in which we were able to keep our car the next day. Would stay here again.

This was a very nice hotel for a short stay. It is just a few minutes from the station, and the centre of Perth is no more than a 10 minute walk. The shower room was new and worked well - good water pressure - and the room although a bit small, was entirely adequate for our needs. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We would stay again when next in Perth.

This older property is so well appointed, staffed and managed. Our room was fully modern yet not sterile feeling, and the en suite shower perfect for us - order in advance. In addition, the dinner fare at their restaurant was excellent. Located on the South Inch, with an easy walk to city centre. I regret that we only had a two-day stay.

The Parklands is a lovely old Victorian property with modern facilties which do not compromise its character in any way. The staff were very helpful. The food was lovely. The train station is 300 yards away, but walled off so theres no sound from there. I would return.

Had a lovely stay and staff were very friendly. I don’t have a problem with ordering breakfast the night before but I would’ve liked a small buffet table to help myself to some yoghurt and fruit coffee etc Otherwise all good.

Hotel had free self parking, our room was comfortable and the bathroom was recently renovated. Great outside space, grounds were well manicured and provided a lovely place to sit with a drink. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

A lovely hotel in a very central location for Perth. It would have been nice to have a good fan as our room faced the sun and was warm, and the existing fan / heater really was not up to the job. I did mention this on check out and they made a note, and I’m also appreciative of the fact that they probably don’t have people complaining it’s too warm! Food was fabulous. We had both dinner ( an amazing lamb with asparagus and an anchovie sauce ) and breakfast, perfect eggs and salmon

We had deluxe rooms and they were fantastic, roomy and very comfortable (and huge!) beds but one of the rooms had a bath and the other didn't - so please check if you want one! As some other reviews have said, having to pre-order breakfast the night before and booking a time is a bit annoying, especially as breakfast then came out 20mins after the time we requested it anyway. Not a huge issue, but would have been better without this system in my opinion. Sadly we didn't get to try the restaurant as it shut quite early.

Very clean room and staff lovely but water in the shower only lukewarm and as it’s an old building and we were on the ground floor there was a lot of creaking from the room above when people were moving around. Particularly bad as they seemed to do this most of the night. Try not to book a ground floor room.

This hotel is quite conveniently located on beautiful grounds with lovely amenities. I only gave three stars however as my room was hot and noisy as I was directly across the street from the train station and above a busy street. It did of course get a bit quieter at night but it was very difficult to sleep.

A very pleasant and convenient place to stay for train travellers. There is no elevator for the upper floor, but that didn’t affect me. The weather in April isn’t quite nice enough to sit outside and enjoy the patio and view, but it would be excellent in the warmer months.
