Nice clean hotel room. Swimming pool and hot tub were nice. Breakfast was great: Waffles, biscuit and gravy, sausage links, eggs, cereal, along with the typical bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, etc. We stayed on a Fri night.

Want to soak in the hot tub? Too bad it's out of order. Want a nice cold Coke from the soda machine? Tough luck, it's broken. How about a snack from the vending machine? Sorry that doesn't work either. Well at least we can hang out in our less than clean room and crunch on ice cubes. The building in general is in poor repair needs an update. Screw holes in walls, broken ceiling tiles, and poor water pressure in the shower.

The beds were very comfortable. Room was clean,but could smell that there had been pets in the room. The hot tub was inoperable and the laundry room was out of service.

There’s only 1 elevator for the whole hotel and it felt like it was malfunctioning while I was on it. Took the stairs but I have stage 4 cancer and that was very difficult. Also the elevator was very sticky. Our neighbors were very loud most the night. Its a great spot for the price.

Upon arriving, the staff was very friendly and helpful. When I got to my room, it was not clean. There was hair in the bathtub and on the sink, the bed was made with dirty sheets and there was an odor to the room. I went down to the front desk and the two ladies there were so apologetic and helpful. They didn’t have any extra rooms to switch me to, however, they provided me what I needed to clean my room and gave me clean bedding. When the manager got in, he came and asked what happened. I told him the state of my room was in upon arrival and he gave me $30 off of my room for the troubles.

I would not recommend staying at this location. We reserved two rooms for three days. It is supposed to be a smoke-free facility yet one room smelt of cigarette smoke so bad that we had to request another room, the second room had a booger on the wall. A metal part of one bed frame was exposed and cut a member of our family. The second room had damage to the wall in the bathroom, damage to the wall behind the entry door and a broken curtain. They did not clean out the refrigerator from previous guest, a to-go box and a Modelo were left in it. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were the size of throw pillows not regular size pillows. The second morning of our stay housekeeping asked us to put our dirty towels and trash outside of the door. Then proceeded to give us new trash bags and told us to put them in the trash cans. I didn't pay to stay in a hotel to do their job for them. Breakfast was a joke. During the week they stop serving at 9am, that's fine however the first morning we were there we went down at 8:15, there were only 3 very cold fried eggs, 5 pieces of sausage, no biscuits. We had to search for an employee just to get them to restock the waffle mix. The dining area was a mess. We had to clean the table before we could eat. The next two days weren't much better, no variety, same items everyday. The next time we visit family in Washington, IL we will NOT be staying here.

The staff was nice, the facility was not. Non-smoking room smelled like smoke, stains on the sheets, incredibly squeaky bed, mold in the shower. Was fine for one night for the price, but this is definitely lived up to 2-star rating.

There was mold in the bathroom. Stuff left in fridge from previous occupants.. Could not use the freezer part due to all the build up. Beds were not very comfortable. Snack and soda machines were out of many items. Staff was very nice!

The staff was very nice and helpful. They had a little area in the lobby where you can help yourself to hot chocolate and coffee, which was nice. The hotel itself, and our room specifically was gross. The bathroom reeked of urine and the floors were filthy and sticky. The room smelled stale, the small refrigerator in the room was dirty, and the table in the room had handprints and something sticky on it. I paid $130.00 for a one night stay in a room with 2 queen beds and was sorely disappointed. Wouldn’t even walk around our room without shoes on due to how filthy the bathroom floor was. Gross.

Excellent and friendly staff. Ok breakfast. Room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, but it looked like something had been removed from the wall and not replaced - just holes in the wall there. Appreciate the microwave and fridge. There’s a restaurant next door but closed? There’s nothing really within walking distance.

The people were nice and it was clean. But it does have some draw backs. It was a bit noising at times during the night, the room air conditioner was very erratic flipping on and off keeping us awake ( you couldn’t use the continuous mode), the alarm pillows were too flat and lumpy, and the Wi-Fi was poor.

Room was clean, very cold on entering, we turned off a/c, turned on heat, but never perceived any heating to occur. We just left the a/c off. My elderly mom also had a room across the hall with the same problem. She had to take blankets from the second bed to be semi-warm at night.

Staff at front desk was very kind- thanks Erica for ensuring a quiet stay. Breakfast fills the hole, nothing fancy but okay. We had an issue with unclean ice bucket but was rectified when taken to front desk. Overall a good value for the money. Nothing fancy, decent, and great location in Washington. Would stay again.

Unfortunately, not a good review. Upon check in, there was a sign that pool and hot tub were out of order. After driving 14 hours, the hot tub was the draw for the booking. My husband has had 6 spine surgeries and is disabled. The hot tub was the main reason for the booking. 2 days later, they ran out of coffee, first regular and then both decaf and regular. Most of the time there was no one behind the front desk. They stayed behind the wall in the office I guess. The breakfast area was not kept up with cleanliness and replenishment. I feel that they were not prepared for the amount of people staying there as it appeared that only one person was working doing it all, the breakfast and the front desk. They did not have any bottled water in the cooler behind the desk to purchase, those were not restocked either. Instead of the hotel making the money off the water sales, we had to pay more in a vending machine. I really feel as if nobody wanted to do their job and I get it, working for the Holiday sucks. We will not stay here again when visiting family.

This is our 4th multi-day stay with Sleep Inn in Washington, IL in 5 years! We love the convenience, the comfort and the quality of our stay. The employees are all so nice. See you next year!!

I cannot say anything bad about this if you’re looking for something bad about this place is something wrong and broken with you. This is a very budget friendly small town field clean place to stay. Walking in the hallway smelled clean and fresh. It’s very appealing to the eyes. The staff was very delightful for a small town hotel. There’s nothing shady going on here. It’s very family friendly. The breakfast was decent biscuits. Sausage gravy, eggs, sausage a variety of toast, bagels fresh fruit they might’ve been cereal. I don’t eat cereal. I didn’t pay attention to that and their waffles. Juice coffee, not the best coffee in the world, but for Coffee offered for a hotel. It’s OK. It’s in a good central location. Their restaurants up the street. Good stuff Walmart not too far all deep not too far. It’s well Cappas. Well maintain. I hope they keep it this way.
