The amenities and food options provided for breakfast & supper was exceptional. We also enjoyed the popcorn & pop machine. The dining area was great for our team/parents to hang out in as well. The location with so many great places to walk to is also a huge plus! Also love the pool that goes indoor to outdoor. The price was also amazing.

Only be elevator working all weekend . Friday night girls fast pitch teams, Saturday boys baseball teams staying there , it was very crowded in the mornings at breakfast and elevator working waited quite a while.

This is probably our 6th time staying here. Conveniently located off highway and next to lots of restaurants and stores. Easy free parking, indoor outdoor pool the kids love. Staff are friendly and rooms are clean. The evening kick off with food and drinks as well as the breakfast are all wonderful perks.

Overall, okay. Room smelled of urine by the tv when the room was warm, so we kept it on the cool side. The refrigerator smelled strong of mexican food. It even got my water bottles smelly and then transferred to my hands. The parking is not the best. Many times we had to park in a neighboring business lot. The bathroom has good lighting. The shower water was good and hot. Appreciate having the body wash/shampoo/conditioner in the shower.

The front desk clerk was friendly and quick but, that's really where the positives ended at the property. Only one elevator worked and it was some of the time. The floor was sticky, the happy hour and breakfast tables were dirty, and people were camping out with blankets and pillows playing on their phone during busy times which left little to no seating for those partaking. The location was great within walking distance of cute shops and restaurants.

We arrived late but the overnight staff was just as friendly as the day staff the next day. The breakfast was good. The entire hotel was clean and well kept. The stay overall was nice.

Stayed three nights. One day our room was cleaned and the beds were turned and well made - the next day the beds were not made- whoever cleaned the room, only threw the bed throw over the beds, didn’t clean the room. You do get free drink tickets( we didn’t use them we were too busy) free breakfast and dinner. (Didn’t try the food, again too busy) The coffee was weak, I did try that. Overall the room was clean and the beds were comfy. The location was very nice and convenient. For the price I paid I do not think I would stay again. I’ve stayed at nicer hotels in that area. I did feel safe and comfy.

We were pleasantly surprised on how big our room was. It was perfect for our overnight trip as the bedroom had an actual door and my daughter used the pull out couch. It was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious with good variety for all. Would recommend.

The decor was very modern and appealing. The bed, pillows, and sheets were all perfect. Nice big TV. Huge bathroom (we got the jacuzzi suite). Pool was great. There’s plenty of really great little places to eat. We ate/drank at the ice cream place, smoothie place, Asian restaurant, and Hurts Donut (which was so great I bought a t-shirt). We did a bunch of activities all around and everything was within 15-20 minutes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone headed to Des Moines.

I had a nice clean room with comfortable bed and pillows. I was on the 7th floor, and there was a humming noise during the night that kind of bugged me. I like silence, but it's not something to expect from every hotel stay. The staff were so friendly, and I would stay again. The evening staff for the complementary dinner buffet and drinks were extremely rude. The staff were taking the food items away right at 7pm even when people were standing there trying to get some on their plates! After driving for 7 1/2 hours the first day, we had to literally run to get some dinner in 5 minutes- this was after the front desk guy told us to check in later and before the food was taken away! I walked up to the bar to get a complementary beer, and the staff said no to my face while dismantling the beer taps- and it wasn’t even 7 pm yet! EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Why bother with this circus. In comparison, the morning staff for the breakfast buffet were friendly and very welcoming- and they didn’t rush the food away. I would fire the entire evening staff if I was the manager. Very disappointed.

Front desk staff member was amazing! The amenities were beyond anything I've experienced with other brands which includes Hilton, Marriot IHG. Room was beautiful! I was surprised that there was daily housekeeping services. That was kind of so-so. However, after 5 years of no housekeeping, it was still a treat.

We arrived about 2:00 pm and the young guy behind the desk told us they didn't have any rooms ready for us and check in is at 3:00 pm and we should come back than. So I asked if he thought there would be a room available sooner. he said he would call us if there was. We went shopping for 20 minutes and came back because it was cold out. Now there was a lady behind the counter so we asked her if any rooms were available and she said," Oh sure, we have lots of rooms available" and very kindly got us checked in right of way.

It is a nice property and we have stayed there several times due to it's location. However, it is very annoying that they don't clearly post no children allowed in the hot tub under 12 without adult supervision. It seems like parents/grandparents think the pool and hot tub area are a day care drop off. This time I finally left and let the front desk know as I have in past stays. There were 5 children under 12 and another 3 little girls getting in around the age of 4. Not one adult. I did suggest maybe having an adult only time for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening would be a great idea. It seems, like last time, when we had the same issue the management is afraid to enforce this vital safety rule. Hoping it won't turn into one of those hotel drowning issues we hear about occasionally for them to make changes.

Not great for business travelers who have to wake up early. Spent 4 nights and every night kids between the ages of 7 and 12 yo were running and yelling down the halls for hours at a time. No supervision and front desk could not help stop it. I even complained kids were knocking on guests doors and running away laughing (for hours at a time). Parents were downstairs at the bar. It didn’t help that my room phone only held a charge for 2 mins before dying. It was pointless trying to call front desk since they just kept me on hold until the phone would eventually die. This was not a great hotel for professionals and business travelers. Additional: you have to ask for housekeeping ahead of time. I didn’t know this until the last day.
