Magnifique petit manoir transformé en hôtel. Le personnel est au petit soin, disponible et professionnel. Très belle chambre, confortable. Merci à l’équipe de nous avoir reçu.

The hotel comprises a lovely old main house, to which a large block of more functional 70s/80s rooms are attached. The room was clean and well equipped, although a little dated. The staff were friendly and welcoming although we did have to wait a bit for someone to appear when we checked in around 7pm. Breakfast was very good, with food cooked to order and presented well. A great location for the village, canal and access for great walking in the hills. Would stay again and recommend.

Hotel was nice, and the lobby, bar and restaurant areas and the bedrooms were nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good for dogs. Drinks prices at the bar are very steep, £48 for one bottle and one glass of house wine. Would stay again, but probably go into the town to eat and drink next time.

Room was very good and quiet. Bathroom could have been cleaner in places. Faulty light reported but no action as was the crack in the bathroom basin. Restaurant offer was average with a regular trail of customers passing through with luggage.
