The woman at the reception desk was so helpful and friendly. She had many recommendations for restaurants and other things to do in the area. There was parking on-site. Breakfast was included and served in a breathtaking room overlooking the beach! Our room was a bit small especially by American standards but the other amenities outweighed that shortfall. Overall a very pleasant stay!

Great reception when checking in. Room was fine for a couple of nights as not overly big and quite hot. Breakfast service, choice and quality was good. Only small issue was parking, spaces at a premium. Got one but quite tight

Thought the hotel had a very friendly feel to it. Very nice breakfast cooked fresh. Room was cosy and quiet👍. Ideal spot is the bar area with views over the beach. Five stars for us.

We had two lovely rooms on the top (2nd)floor (be aware that there is no lift). One looked out to sea and the other had partial sea views but also had a small balcony with two chairs which would be lovely on a sunny day. Both rooms were very clean and there were two tub chairs from which to enjoy the views. Beds were extremely comfortable, probably the best hotel beds we have come across ( and that includes a well known hotel chain!). We appreciated the choice of teas (plus coffee, milk, biscuits and water) one could collect from the foyer but would have liked a hot chocolate option! There was plenty of choice at breakfast though quite a short breakfast window (8 to 9.15). All the staff that we met were very friendly and helpful. All in all a fabulous visit and we would certainly stay in the Anacapri again when next in Falmouth.

A delightful hotel perched above Gyllingvase beach, with superb views out across Falmouth Bay. Very friendly and helpful staff making you feel very much at home. A good variety of breakfasts on offer in a bright and airy dining room taking full advantage of the views. Plenty of off-road parking, and within a short walk of the centre of Falmouth. If you don't fancy the walk back, after your evening out, the taxi service from town is excellent. Falmouth offers a wide range of restaurants, 'Fuel' was one of our favourites. The hotel is also very well placed for visiting an excellent fish restaurant (Hooked on the Rocks), at Swanpool beach. This is just a pleasant 15 minute walk along the coastal path, with rewards of lobster, scallops and prawns, in another superb, elevated setting. Staff were lovely and breakfast was well organised and a hearty start to each day. We stayed in a twin room so it was on the top level with four flights of stairs. Ok once we got used to them, but was tricky with luggage.

The locality,the staff,and the food were excellent. The only draw back was the room we were allocated. We were on the top floor, there's no lift and for a couple of 80+ year olds it was too difficult a position to access. They attempted to move us but being fully booked it couldn't be. Lesson learnt always check thoroughly the amenities.

We’ve stayed at the Anacapri a few times over the years and it’s still our choice of where to stay in Falmouth. It’s right on the beach and just a 10-15 minute walk into town. Free parking is provided and staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent too.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond to help you with your requests. I would have given the hotel the full 5 stars on every single aspect but unfortunately, although the bathroom was clean, there were a lot of hair on the floor. The shower took a very long time to get to the right temperature and the water pressure was only a trickle. Hence low score. Sorry. My served breakfast was cold on day 1 but was nice and hot day 2.

Lovely room, exceptionally clean and welcoming. Gorgeous sea view. Very comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous, perfectly cooked and great choices. The dining room also looked out across the bay. It was a wrench to have to leave. I think I'll be back sometime.

My husband and myself are in our 60’s with health problems. There was no one to help us with the suitcases. We were given a room on the top floor. There are no lifts. The bathroom had no window that opened or any air ventilation fans. I saw mould marks on the wall and black areas in the shower cubicle. The toilet paper was the thinnest and cheapest. The food was very limited and the bread given to us again was the most basic and cheapest. No bread rolls, cheese or cold meats. Also noticed loud noises in the bathroom at times. As we were in the loft area the roof was slanted and we kept on hitting our heads!

Immaculate hotel, close to Falmouth town centre, staff very polite & helpful and breakfast is lovely, especially if you sit near the window overlooking the nearby sea/beach.

The room was not heated, the stairs were narrow and steep ( dangerous when carrying suitcases. The heating was turned on when I requested but turned off later, it was then off in the morning and the room was freezing. It was so bad we checked out, we paid £400.00 for one very cold night, we were so cold we left before breakfast in order to warm up in the car going home.

I loved our room with perfect see view and it was comfortable. The only down side was you could hear everyone else in their rooms, but i would stay here again. Very reasonably priced for the location and breakfast included.

We had the four poster bedroom and it was very small and stuffed with furniture that didn’t go with the style of the room and hard to move around. Dust in high areas, the light shade was thick, I even found someone’s old outfit in a box above the wardrobe!! Breakfast was a bit rushed by staff who were pleasant but couldn’t wait to clear the table. Breakfast was standard even budget. Fancied a change from the busier hotels but did feel like a cheap guesthouse. The view was the bonus but we had hard dining chairs in the room which wasnt very relaxing, I think the room would benefit from removing all the large furniture and having two comfy chairs at the window. The staff were all nice but they just need to slow down and let people relax, don’t make things so rushed. I wouldn’t stay there again!

Short break in a tidy, clean hotel. Comfortable room with sea view and super king sized bed. Comprehensive choice of breakfast; continental or full English was very good quality. Attentive, friendly staff made the our stay very enjoyable. Excellent in every way! Would certainly recommend.

Beautiful situation on the beach front, lovely individual furniture in the rooms - we had a four poster bed and sea view. Staff were wonderful, highly recommend this hotel.

We were very disappointed with the room. Far too small and cramped. Had to sit on the toilet sideways and right next to the bed. Heating not working and told to use blankets. Too much furniture in small room. Would have suited a single bed.

Love staying here, have been here a couple of times and each one has been very good. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, nothing seems to be too much trouble, very accommodating.

I booked a dog friendly hotel via Expedia but when I tried to book in I was told it was not dog friendly and was shown the door rather abruptly. After a long drive this was disconcerting as we had to find another hotel. Expedia have charged me in full for the 2 nights despite being refused at reception.
I booked a dog friendly hotel via Expedia but when I tried to book in I was told it was not dog friendly and was shown the door rather abruptly. The managers Beccy and Colin were wonderful hosts and maintained a well run hotel. The staff are very helpful and all seemed to be enjoying their work. We had a great stay of 3 nights.

Had a fantastic stay accommodation was lovely. The view from our bedroom was amazing. The staff were very helpful welcoming and friendly.Becky who worked in the evening was extremely helpful friendly made our stay really pleasant telling us places to try. We will definitely be going back for another stay felt like a home from home would be recommending to my friends.

My husband and myself are in our 60’s with health problems. There was no one to help us with the suitcases. We were given a room on the top floor. There are no lifts. The bathroom had no window that opened or any air ventilation fans. I saw mould marks on the wall and black areas in the shower cubicle. The toilet paper was the thinnest and cheapest. The food was very limited and the bread given to us again was the most basic and cheapest. No bread rolls, cheese or cold meats. Also noticed loud noises in the bathroom at times. As we were in the loft area the roof was slanted and we kept on hitting our heads!

My room was clean and the bed comfortable. The shower was quite powerful and plenty of hot water. The breakfast is large and very tasty. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is very good, right next to the sea and about twenty minute walk into the town. I would recommend the hotel.

The hotel is in an ideal location in the best part of Falmouth within easy walking distance of two good shelving beaches. The Co-op is just round the corner. The hotel is easily accessible and has plenty of free parking. Checking in was efficient with friendly staff who asked us to fill in our breakfast requests at our leisure but before 8 pm. Room 16 was tastefully decorated with sea view, comfortable bed, free Wi-Fi and Ensuite shower. Breakfast was wonderful, lots of choice and seemed unlimited. The only drawbacks were the noise from early morning seagulls if you kept the window open and local pubs and restaurants nearby and in town were very pricey. Pubs on the North edge of town serve great food at reasonable prices such as the Lemon Arms in Mylor Bridge.

A delightful hotel perched above Gyllingvase beach, with superb views out across Falmouth Bay. Very friendly and helpful staff making you feel very much at home. A good variety of breakfasts on offer in a bright and airy dining room taking full advantage of the views. Plenty of off-road parking, and within a short walk of the centre of Falmouth. If you don't fancy the walk back, after your evening out, the taxi service from town is excellent. Falmouth offers a wide range of restaurants, 'Fuel' was one of our favourites. The hotel is also very well placed for visiting an excellent fish restaurant (Hooked on the Rocks), at Swanpool beach. This is just a pleasant 15 minute walk along the coastal path, with rewards of lobster, scallops and prawns, in another superb, elevated setting. All in all, the Anacapri is a very comfortable, clean and well appointed hotel in an excellent location, for enjoying what the Falmouth bay area has to offer.

Beautiful room with a seaside view. Lovely breakfast included with dining room overlooking the sea. Very convenient walk to the train station, the beach and Falmouth town eateries and marina. Loved it!

We’ve stayed at the Anacapri a few times over the years and it’s still our choice of where to stay in Falmouth. It’s right on the beach and just a 10-15 minute walk into town. Free parking is provided and staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent too.

This HOTEL is a B & B as there are no meals provided other than breakfast, which has to be ordered the night before. There appears to be no breakfast menu, If you want continental there is little choice, cereals x 4 , and toast which you collect an do yourself. Parking seems ok ( June ). Sea view was good, very near the beach.🤔

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond to help you with your requests. I would have given the hotel the full 5 stars on every single aspect but unfortunately, although the bathroom was clean, there were a lot of hair on the floor. The shower took a very long time to get to the right temperature and the water pressure was only a trickle. Hence low score. Sorry. My served breakfast was cold on day 1 but was nice and hot day 2.

A really nice hotel close to the town centre. All staff were friendly and made an effort to make you feel welcome. The room had a good view of the sea (breakfast room too) and was spacious and clean. Full English breakfast was first class and great value as it came part of the room cost. Excellent hotel and would defo stay here again when visiting Cornwall.

Hotel Anacapri in Falmouth offers a warm and welcoming stay with truly lovely views of the sea—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. While the breakfast was fairly average, the overall experience more than made up for it with its charm and location.

Very well kept hotel in fantastic location with lively staff. Room perfect. Especially liked water bottles, tea, coffee etc freely available at reception. Would prefer not to preorder breakfast.

The location was lovely just up from the beach. We had a great view of the sea from our room, though the room itself was smaller than expected. The breakfast was good apart from the last morning: the poached egg was hard and the smoked fish was dry, which was very disappointing. Beccy on reception was particularly friendly and helpful. It was an easy walk into town with its many interesting shops. There’s a lovely coastal walk from the beach to the next cove where we had a delicious meal at Hooked on the Rocks, but a bit expensive. We missed out on a couple of restaurants not having booked well enough ahead, the Royal Standard at Flushing has a great menu and is very reasonably priced. We drove there as it was a last minute decision and fortunately someone had cancelled, but you can take a ferry across.

We were on the top (third) floor. No lift, s, as an 80 year old, carrying a case up three flights of stairs was difficult - no one around to help. We were at the front of the building overlooking a view of the sea that was absolutely stunning. this was the redeeming factor along with it's proximity to the beach.Other than that there was nothing about the Hotel that warranted a 5 star rating, More like a very good 3 star for us. The weather was extremely hot and there was no air conditioning, just a single tower fan - which was insufficient to help much. The bedroom was a reasonable size but had sloping ceilings (more than a few head bumps! The least favourable feature was the shower room/ toilet which was about 7' square, It had a skylight that would not open and some mould spots in the shower. The house was clean throughout but paintwork and furnishings needed freshening up. The breakfast was good and staff were pleasant. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel as a very good 3 star, but not as a 5 star.

Excellent holiday for me & my husband, very clean & cosy environment where I can see the see view. Walking distance to Falmouth town centre as well as got 10% off at harbour fish & chips place with fresh fish. Love the walk along the sea walk to town too, feel the fresh breeze and comfortable environment too. Very friendly staff in the hotel, brilliant breakfast too. Will recommend this hotel to everyone. I will scored it 100%

The time we stayed in the hotel was ok.great for the beach and not far from town .The bed was very big and comfortable,clean sheets and good duvet,there was a few cobwebs dangling down from the ceiling above bed near window .which my grandaughter saw 1st and did want to sleep on that side of the bed in case there was a spider..the bathroom was a good size and shower and toilet. Breakfast was great plenty to choose from cereals, toast,jams,marmalade, fruit juices,different milks to choose from too.fruit ,yogurts and choice of cooked breakfast from a menu,given to you night before to choose for breakfast next day. Bacon,eggs fried or scrambled poached,sausages,fish.really good choice which was lovely. Tea and coffee pleantful too.i would diffinately stay again . Very convenient 👌 place to stay.
