I selected this hotel for a Staycation to celebrate my wife's birthday. I selected over St Regis and Waldorf due to Rooftop Pool and Rooftop Restaurant since it was great weather over the weekend. When we arrive, we were told pool was closed, and that we couldn't even sit in the chairs and enjoy the weather. Hostess said Dirty Rascals has an outdoor area, but it was closed from 3pm-5pm and rooftop Restaurant was closed until 5pm, so we went to St Regis bar and spent money on food/drinks instead. When we returned about 5pm, rooftop was open so we went up there, only to be told that all outside seating on the terrace was reserved, but when we went to check it out, 80% of seating was open (see photo). Room and Car Service is great, but would have like to used all of the amenities that we paid for.

Good service, clean. one of the elevators was down and this created excessively long waits. If elevator needs repair, this should be a priority! It was disturbing for a business trip to miss out on so much due to waiting for the elevator.

Clean but service was terrible. Check in was at 3pm and we didn't receive our room until 7pm or so. Plus roof top pool was small and so ghetto. They had loud guest there and it smelt like marijuana. Not kid friendly.

환기할수 있는 창은 없지만 에어컨디셔너가 잘 돌아가서 춥거나 덥지않고 많이 답답하지도 않았다. 하지만 환기구에 먼지가 쌓여있어서 높은곳이지만 주의깊게 닦을 필요가 있다 침구의 상태가 좋았으며 배게가 딱딱하지 않아서 아이들도 편하게 이용했습니다. 레녹스몰까지 오가는 호텔전용 무료차량이 있어서 쇼핑하고 다리가 아플땐 유용했습니다 네스프레소 버츄오도 맛있고 주변이 조용해서 잘 잤습니다. 다른 후기에 호텔에 향수냄새가 많이난다고 해서 걱정했으나 로비에만 기분좋을정도의 향기가 살짝 날 뿐이었고 전체적으로 쾌적했습니다 무엇보다 헬스장의 시설이 너무 좋아서 기억에 남습니다

Assigned a room across from the fitness center with no sound proofing. Woken up at 6 am by weights dropping. Not happy that the room contained an ADA bathroom with no shower door resulting in water spilling into the bathroom. Called the front desk with no resolution.

I recently stayed at The Tess Autograph Collection and had a mixed experience. I booked through Hotels.com, where my confirmation clearly showed a 3 PM check-in time. However, upon arrival, I was told check-in wasn’t until 4 PM—and even then, my room wasn’t ready until 5 PM. That was definitely disappointing, especially after a long day of travel. I also reserved a room with a city view, but the room I received was on the 2nd floor overlooking the hotel’s roof and mechanical HVAC units, which was not the view I expected or paid for. Aside from those issues, the room itself was clean, stylish, and exactly as pictured online. Once we were settled in, the stay overall was pleasant and comfortable. The Tess has great potential, but the check-in process and room assignment could use improvement. If those areas were fixed, it would easily be a top-tier experience.

Rooms are very dark, also they left stains on the counters. Great location for a hotel, but if you have any sensitivity smell, I would stay away, the rooms are heavily scented with fragrances. When you walk in, it’s like walking into someone spraying cologne. Valet is slow for $50 / day.

Our check-in time was 3pm. Upon arrival we were told no rooms were ready. It was about 4pm when we were alerted that our room was ready. Normally this would not be a big deal but we needed to dress for a professional event, which was the purpose for our stay. The front desk clerk was not apologetic about the delay, was barely friendly, and nor was any accommodation offered for the delay in service. I love this hotel for ONLY the shower as the water pressure is fantastic. After this experience, I may not stay again

I had an unknown charger to my account of$32.90 a week later after confirming no additional charges at checkout. No one capsule tell how it got that. I was rudely told of would be returned back to my card as if I already knew that. The fact of the matter there shouldn’t have been any additional charger period I wasn’t even booked for a full 25 hours. Pay attention to your bank statements.

I’ve stayed at this hotel for work trips since its opening, but my latest stay was an absolute disaster. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed that the minibar hadn’t been replenished. To avoid being charged for something I didn’t use, I took photos and kindly showed them to the receptionist, who assured me I wouldn’t be billed. Despite this, I was later hit with an outrageous $460 charge for minibar items I never touched. It has been taking ages to resolve this, and the staff have been completely unhelpful. I should also add that I only stayed for one night. What made things even worse was that two of my keepsake necklaces, one gold and one diamond, went missing from my room. I reported this multiple times over several days, but no one took my concerns seriously, and I never received any follow-up or help. It was as though the staff couldn’t care less about the situation. For a hotel I’ve been loyally staying at for years, this level of indifference and lack of care is shocking. The minibar charge is excusable and can be resolved, but my missing necklaces are why I’m done with this place. Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere that actually values its guests.

When I arrived at 5:15pm my room wasn’t ready. I was told it would be around 5 minutes, which turned into 30 minutes and it still wasn’t ready. I was given the option of another room but had a terrible view and 2nd floor not to mention noise from traffic outside. After an hour in the gym I had to call again to see if my room was ready which its was and I was told they would be bringing a key right up. At least another 15 minutes passed until they arrive with the key. No help with luggage, just I’m sorry for the inconvenience and we will give u a 100.00 credit. I’ve been staying here on all my business trips as well as other cities. I would have thought a manger would at least spoken to me. Very disappointed and will more than likely not stay at this location again

Look and style was undescribable. Hotel location: perfect. Cleanliness: beyond perfect. Views of the city perfect. In room dining: Perfect like in the movies. Room style: updated and perfect. We've traveled many places around the world. Best hotel hands down. The art gallery pieces and attention to detail even in the decor was amazing. They were celebrating Stevie Wonder and the record player in the corner of the lounge even had Stevie Wonder vinyl. By the time you finish reading this you need to just go and book your stay and experience the greatness of this location.

Everything about this Hotel was perfect. The only issue were the Drinks, wings, and Dj on the rooftop terrace area. The three of them were awful. The view was spot on and atmosphere was good though.

I recently stayed at the Thompson in Atlanta and it was wonderful! The hotel is impeccably clean, stylish and comfortable. I had breakfast in the restaurant every morning and the food was delicious. The best buttermilk pancake I’ve ever had! The staff is so kind and helpful. From the wait staff at the restaurant to the front desk, the service was top notch. My favorite person was Demetris. He drove me in the hotel car to and from the Galleries at Peachtree Hills everyday. His smile, warm disposition and sense of humor made my trip effortless and memorable. I can’t thank him enough for making my trip to Atlanta stress free! I highly recommend the Thompson to anyone looking to stay in the Atlanta/Buckhead area. You will be in the best of hands.

We stayed at the Thompson after staying at the Kimpton across the street several times because the rooftop bar looked like it had great views and atmosphere. Too bad they booked the rooftop out so no guests could enjoy it, so we walked across the street to the Kimpton rooftop. A waste of time and money to stay here.

Always a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, the dining options have changed with the closure of Dirty Rascals. We could not make a reservation at the new restaurant. There is no way to make a reservation on line, nor via telephone.
