Hilton Garden Inn Roanoke Rapids

Large room, very clean. I was driving all day and arrived around 9pm so having a little pub in the hotel where I could order food and take to my room instead of having to drive around and try and find something open was great.

Good location for stopping off of I-95. Pet friendly and clean.

Many parents and grandparents (like us) were there for a nearby college graduation. Although we are not bedridden, it would have been helpful to have the use of some baggage carts to move our belongings from the parking lot to our rooms. None were available at any time we were in the facility. I understand all carts may have been in use during peak check-in and check-out periods, but I sat in the lobby during one of those times and not a single cart appeared. Having traveled for most of my professional life, I expected better from Hilton.

Clean room great breakfast

We were charged $6.34 I(I believe that was the charge) for Water in the room? That is the only thing we can think of anyway. The receipt did not explain what the charge was for, and we rec'd a full refund of the "incidental" charge that was put on the card when we checked in. If the charge was indeed for water, you should be upfront and put a price tag on the bottle or a note stating you will be charged. Most people wouldn't care, but surprise charges, no matter how small are upsetting.
